This game has been a breath of fresh air. It’s a nice change of pace from the bunny hopping/slide canceling COD gameplay 😂 Stakes are higher now and you have to play smarter! Great video brother!

Pro tips for beginners:
1. Press H to turn off laser sights (or dont add laser sights tbh its just a waste of time that your enemies can also see)
2. Try to get used to not having compensators for recoil management (Spray control in game is easy with practice except for M249, PKM, M240B)
3. Dont sprint too much near objectives
4. Always have utilities (nades/smokes)
5. Always cook grenades before throwing (so that enemies wont have time to run)

@@SRTKOVA Holding a grenade before throwing but the fuse starts at the throw in game and life so you cant its more a cod thing
Couldn't agree more about the M1 Garand, on paper it shouldn't be competitive with just 8 rounds but it's so accurate and powerful that it deletes people in one shot.
I wrote the creators of this game and truly thanked them for something great and refreshing! Got sick of COD multi and then the never ending boring rat race of a game that battle royales are just got tiring and old and repetitive! Thank you insurgency for giving us a full scale rainbow on roids! Truly a great game to play with comms and friends

The MK (mark)18 is an M4, just made by Daniel defense. That’s what they call it 🤷♂️
But instead of a 14.5 inch barrel like a traditional M4 the MK18 either has a 10.3 or 10.8
Also, something about my time in makes me absolutely love the 240B and this is the first game that does a good job depicting it.

Breacher with shotgun/slugs is the best loadout all around. If you can't run breacher run rifleman with shotty underbarrel for varied ranges
Compensators and recoil grips are really expensive. I wouldn't recommend using them too often with something that doesn't have much recoil like most 5.56 or 5.45 rifles, if you're decent at controlling recoil in the first place. Exceptions being rifles with a very high fire rate like the famas. I'd much rather put more points into a light carrier and some throwables (I almost always run a smoke) with a gasmask and cheap sidearm at least. Light armor will save you from time to time and it's only 1 point.
Those are my two cents, but feel free to go with what you're comfortable with of course.
PS: Most people I've played with on console don't use enough smokes when attacking objectives. I literally go in with a smoke launcher on a cheap rifle, 2-3 separate smoke grenades and a heavy carrier just because I'm sometimes the only one to use smoke. I've seen people get taken out 10-20 yards from spawn, just to go the same route and get clapped or pinned down again because the enemy has a sniper or LMG with a good sightline. Hopefully more players will catch on that smoke can literally make or break a push sometimes.
That’s what is great about the game, customizing YOUR experience that you want. I agree, I hope that people use smokes to move forward with the objectives

Didn’t throw a single thing all night on PS4 debut, except for my body in front of peoples bullets….
I mean realistically, no reason to have a full auto gun in a mil spec game. Two bullets is all you need. Single fire, two easy trigger pulls and they're gone.
@@ItzJoeyDYT That's a pretty fair point, but if you ask me, full auto is a godsend in CQB encounters.
@@notisac3149 I do agree with the cqb but even then you’d waste more bullets than needed. Can’t hurt to have a full auto gun for cqb.
G3 with 2x red dot has been my go to for the longest time. With molotovs to choke doorways and to hear people burning alive 😊

I had this game in my steam library for years, glad I went back to it it's so much fun, plus people actually communicate in the game for the most part, more often than not you'll be chilling with the same team the entire night you're there, and you'll quickly start remembering certain people and getting pally with them, people are really welcoming in the game and I put that down to the main playerbase being more adult, the player base is made up of mostly older folks 25 plus usually and yeah you do get jokers but they're not annoying they'll talk their shit get their laughs then go back to being cool.
once in a blue moon in the 100s of hours I've put in this moth I've came across a small handful of dickheads and they usually get ran out of servers people will back people up that are getting annoyed by someone that in it's own makes the game unique.

Edit: bought yesterday, and I'm loving it, I'm out of xbox live gold rn, so just been playing coop, but still loving it, wish I could do some customizing, only played 1 game of mutiplayer before running out of gold😭
Save your money it's not worth the $40 at least till the fix the shit.

Hey bro, if you're patient enough to deal with the bugs then by all means have fun! I just can't get the game to stop crashing on multiplayer. Might be because I have the older console though.
@@thezackarius9094 I have that as well on PS4, the developers released a statement saying they’re working on fixing the issue soon, I heard somewhere that it’s quite common in pc port games
@@thezackarius9094 mine crashed constantly at first, I did a hard reset and cleared my cache and haven’t had crashes since
recoil grip is only good if u are standing and shooting from far away.. i always use aim grip with every gun if im pushing
TTK makes armor pretty useless in this game. you could keep your optic and trade the armor for smoke. i'd probably pick a flash, but to each their own.
Push matches should have a third round so you can untie a game.

The best part of the game is finding a combo that works for you! The grease gun is actually really fun to use!
Rifleman. M16a4, 4*1 red dot, cross hair scope, Flash hider, aim grip or reload, i personally take the extended mag because those 5 bullets have saved me, same with minimal armour for 1 point. A few throwables.and the browning pistol..On every map so far, its deady both mid to long range an even QBC in a pinch.
in the newest update, they made PSO available to all AK variants except for SKS. which is cool. i wish they hadn't left the SKS out, but you can't have everything. i don't like the glued on attatchments thing because of my imaginary OCD or something. i like to put the stuff on what it really will work with. in reality, none of the optics they have for the SKS work that way. even the PK mounts on a glued on rail or something. it bugs me so i just rock the SKS iron sights which aren't bad but are def not great. The SKS has the best report sound effect in the game, btw. makes me feel like i'm firing the BFG or something. i dig it.

I don’t think you need more then 2x zoom scope unless you’re the marksman, engagements around the objectives are very close.
Also for the G3 I would remove the recoil grip and fire in semi-auto or short bursts.
And whatever pistol I have I will always put QuickDraw, it saved me more times than I can remember.
yes i find i like using the 4 times on the gunner class can be useful especcaily when bipod
QuickDraw pistol is literally a life saver but I find that if u use extended magazines and fast reloading grip than usually you will never have to draw the pistol
@@ihonest5355 yes but then you need to spend more points on your main just for that, while even the cheapest 1 point pistol with 12-15 rounds can do the job pretty good.
Most of the times it saved me is when I was mid reloading and an enemy came by surprise, or pushing obj and running out of ammo, situations where the points you spent on fast reload don’t matter.

They had a competitive ranked mode on PC but removed it due to not enough interest and empty servers

that may be, but not in insurgency sandstorm for some reason. it is listed as a .45 chambering for some weird reason but since he's talkin about sandstorm and not the real firearm

As of March 2022 game still has some bugs. Jumping to get over a curb, legs etc poking thru walls. Backing into rocks when laying down so only torso is exposed.
Thought by now this would be fixed.

Its a special feature for a specific scope bcuz it doesnt happen with the other 2x-1x or 4×-1×
@@rogergr1648it's at least for 2 different scopes, after having this issue with the 2 scopes i stopped checking the others. I have been staying away from double magnification scopes because of this.

I love the realism of this game. The one thing I don’t like is the access to all guns from the beginning. You should have to level up to unlock guns.

That would make the game so much worse in my opinion, it would ruin the experimentation and experience to figure out what works best for the player
It's rare to see realistic tactical shooters like this on console.
I used to rock Rainbow Six:3 and Rainbow Six:3 Black Arrow for months on end back in the day and still miss the community.
Super fast TTK, realistic weapon loadouts and sound effects, empasis on realism.
Thinking I'm gonna jump back in with this and see if it brings back the magic
I grew up playing Operations Flashpoint, OG Ghost Recon, Delta Force, and SWAT games. I think you would dig this game

fun way to play is use all nade slots for smokes and have thermals on and run into a room and throw smokes down and become sam fisher

You're spending more on the extended mag for the m110 than if you used the mk14 and it has slightly higher recoil and full auto
Been playing this game since its PC release. Love to see it on console now! I just bought it on PS5 and here are my suggestions if anyone is interested!
My favorite weapons personally:
AKM - All around great gun
Honey Badger - /w suppressor this weapon is great for flanking
AS VAL - right up there with the Honey Badger
FAL - If you can control recoil this firearm is one of the best in the game
AUG & Famas - Both recently new additions to the game and are a joy to play
Overall though, weapon balance is something this Developer takes very seriously and honestly most guns can shine if you use them wisely.
The mp7 with a loading grip and silencer is my go to for cqb in sandstorm
SASS has absolutely fantastic iron sights. i don't know if that's realistic to the actual weapon, but it's such a bad ass iron sight. i probably piss a lot of people off using a marksman slot to play with the m110 using no optic lol.

Honestly, I'm mad I didnt pick this game up sooner, I've only just clocked 15 hours in game , I was debating purchasing for months, I've got to say, this is the best game I've purchased in a long time... I'd take this game 10000x over than call of duty or battlefield.
On console Co-op your allowed 20 points to spend and both insurgents and security have roughly the same equipment.

I know this is cheap but its a classic Hostile Intent strategy for night maps: raise your monitor gamma and you see clearly without nvg

i only use tracers to show when a large magazine is going empty on sandstorm. i think the last five or so rounds are all tracers when you pick that. so you know when to reload.
This is actually something they do in real life for the same reason so I'm glad someone picked up on it
IN 2023 the meta is using incendiary/molotov all the way just don't let the enemy enter the objective. Kinda OP as in real life if you jump through a fire you might get no damage. In game it's -50 or -75% of your health or death.

I think the sound problem is the biggest issue rn. every once in a while all gunshot and step sound just goes away, and it typically happens as i'm getting flanked.

Best all around gun is mk18 with suppressor, recoil grip, 1-2 times sight and a laser sight if you want to look cool.

The honey badger doesn’t fire .45ACP. It fires .300AAC Blackout.
All shooters are easy on mouse and keyboard but using a controller on this fucking game is nuts. The recoil is super realistic.

PC TIP: Do not buy any flashlight or NVG's. Turn your gamma up to 5.0 and you can see everything without any of that. You can use the points for other stuff.

G3A3 is my favourite go to very well balanced but certainly far for the best gun Infact in my few plays of this game I am the only one in my team that used it I play pve mode because I am far behind the sweats on this game even the CPU is hard very good game this is the best modern shooter by a mile especially on pc.... Best ww2 game is enlisted that game when it's good is by far my favourite online shooter taking out a whole squad feels so freaking rewarding I got pretty good at that game honestly makes me feel ready no joke playing arcade shooters like battlefield and cod teach you how not to fight in a war but enlisted and sandstorm both make you feel like real war the realism in both games actually is scary oh Izonzo is also a pretty darn realistic game but that's ww1 if you never played highly recommend if you want a different pace and style of war shooting games.....

Big tip armor is useless you'll die in the same exact amount of time as someone without armor. No armor also means you move faster.

best load out G3a3 with compensator, extended mag, eotech...m110 SASS with eotech, suppresor good for long shots and if need be CQB one shot kills with these very easily, next is the Honeybadger and Scar H.

@@franciscomagallon3364 found out when all my team got killed and I went to rush into the building to clear it out in 20 seconds before the timer ended and we lost, that having 20+ rounds of 7.62 came handy, was outnumbered 5:1 and won the round. Was named "The Comeback kid" by the game. Most of the time players like flanking allot they will be formed up one behind the other if they have heavy bullet proof vest it takes 2 to 3 shots sometimes. Found out heavy rounds are more accurate at long distances and short if needed is deadlier. Allot of times your team will just fall into an ambush so I end up carrying the sniper or DMR to light them up and stop their advance, alot of time I stopped flanking with DMR...it makes a different when you are good at support and CQB
