Had similar thing few days ago. US team and we rushed a town that was held by insurgents. I think at least 30 of us were charging, while being covered by tanks from behind and MG's shooting at the town. While insurgents were shooting from windows and rooftops and then mortar fire from them started to hit our positions. People falling around and mortar mines falling everywhere. Bullets buzzing over heads. Crazy how it was. Sadly, i wasn't recording it. I forgot to start.....

I never get all the controversy with VMI it’s a military school and it’s supposed to harsh and difficult. It’s the Cadre’s job to take a Rat and turn them into a solider ready to serve our Country’s if they choose to go that route If you enter VMI thinking it’s going to be fun and games then you obviously didn’t do your research..

Man, I thought Delta Force Black Hawk Down was awesome, but Joint Operations was legit!. It's 100 player CO-OP was fun as hell, tons of vehicles and ways to attack the objectives and enemies.

The new kids can have their competitive online games, and fortnight, I am a retro collector, I will just keep playing the games of yeasteryear, and buy a new game that suites my tastes when they come up, my little 8-year-old brother for example likes fortnight, but he is always happy to play couch co-up games like contra, ctr, or just enjoying a retro game he never saw before, and for him it would be new experience.

Activision was scummy even back then, not suprised. As a CoD fan and Delta Force player I did think Novalogic had something to do with MW3, maybe some devs jumped to IW / Sledgehammer Games I thought.

From the "old corps" here...Class of 1970. VMI is the best thing I ever did. VMI, as with all humans institutions, changes and evolves, not always for the better. The politically inspired predatorial accusations made against VMI could have been made against ANY human institutions. Humans and human institutions are not perfect. Accusations (by those presenting themselves as morally superior) are easy to make. DEI vs. a merit-based system has done VMI great damage. The Institute was originally designed to be a better and improved "American" system of military college than West Point which was under severe criticism at the time of VMI's founding in the 1830s. VMI was more "bottom up Jeffersonian" and West Point was more "top down Hamiltonian." J. T. L. Preston, VMI's founder, was a brilliant educational visionary who committed his professional life to VMI, first imagining VMI, then getting the Virginia legislature to approve it, then serving on the Board of Visitors, then doing a search for and hiring VMI's first Superintendent, then serving as one of the first two professors, then serving as acting Superintendent and much more until his retirement. His best friend as a young man in Richmond was Edgar Allan Poe and his best friend as an adult was his brother-in-law VMI professor Thomas Jonathan Jackson (both severely flawed and imperfect humans according to those humans who believe themselves to be less flawed and more perfect humans). there’s aim point shooting attachment in vanilla game, you just can’t use the laser pointer but in underbarrels choose “point shooting” and hit g or h in game

My favourite is when the artillery is falling. Even if I’m in the middle of it I always look around just enjoy the scenes and that I’m not actually going to die.

Sons of the forest was so fricking awesome and opened up a whole new story making the franchise 1000% times better.

I would like to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS), Warrant Officer Candidate School (WOCS), Direct Commission (DC), or Officer Training School (OTS). I have a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree. I am a prior service member and I'm transferring to a new branch of service. I am 41 years old. My recruiter is saying that I'm too old to become an officer. What advice could you provide to help me pursue the officer route?
