They'd have to use mostly X-Men characters, I imagine to have enough characters for a grand 'Civil War' story. To be fair, we don't definitively know if it was actually called Civil War. I was just calling it that because it was a Marvel versus story that involved the Superhero Registration Act. The name's never been publicly revealed. However, in that same interview with Zack Stentz from the video, he mentions offhand, 'I can't tell you what it was called'- which leads me to believe it actually *might* have been called Civil War.

@@HemmasStudios_ I think DOFP would've been made still, there were plans for First Class to spawn a trilogy. Matthew Vaughn only dropped out to try to get the directing gig for Star Wars Episode 7.
Fox wasn’t actually allowed to do this. Back when the Wolverine arc “Enemy of the State” was happening, I pointed out on Joe Quesada’s message board that it felt like a pitch to Fox, since most of the characters Wolverine targeted were under that license. Mark Millar immediately shot that down and said that even under the same studio, they couldn’t crossover since different producers had their money tied into these characters, they’re all separate licenses, and different departments in Fox managed them. Years later Fox did carry on like they were building their own MCU, but they couldn’t legally follow through on it.
I thought they went with Hugh *despite* his height, but it sounds like they just didn't give a shit and wanted a tall, handsome actor. Something tells me whoever gets to don claws next is gonna be significantly shorter.
@@Zowayix93 people say that they want a comic accurate height but comics and film are totally different. a small wolverine just wouldn't look good on film. comic fans might like it but general audiences wouldn't be able to take it seriosuly. imagine wolverine having to look up at the main villain haha
dougray scott was offered the role and he gladly accepted. an injury on the set of MI:2 meant that the studio would have had to wait for him and they weren't willing to do that. however I just heard recently that it was actually tom cruise who stopped him from getting the role. he had a lot of power back then and i totally believe that it is something he would do... I'm sure scott was really upset about this i feel bad for the guy
@@giorgiopayne2875 Simple enough fix, just write in the script that Wolvie carries around a box to stand on wherever he goes. It would also help if his signature catchphrase isn't "LEMME AT'EM" shouted in a high-pitched voice, specifically while being physically kept at arm's length by the villain via a palm against his head.
I think if the MCU didn't did Civil War as Captain America 3 plus more cohesive plan and better movies (a better Fantastic 4 and a new Daredevil movie) would have been something intresting.

It would have followed T'Challa, who was struggling after a five-year absence due to the Blip. T'Challa II would have been shown earlier in the film as T'Challa struggled to cope with the fact that he missed five years of his son's life. Black Panther Wakanda Forever Concept Before Chadwick's Death Shuri donning wings Additionally, Shuri would have donned a suit with wings. Ironheart originally was supposed to build herself a slim Ironheart Armor: Mark II with a "Mark 2.5" version that would eventually attach to her during the Ambush on the Talokanil to give her a bulkier suit.
This would be a hit or miss for me. I mean they should’ve gone with all the characters like Iron Man, Captain America, etc. I mean Captain America, Civil War for example, should’ve got more characters but at least we got that was pretty decent

I also agree with the suggestion that this movie should probably have had a different title because it just doesn't match up that well with the story from the comics but either way it sounds like a potentially fantastic crossover event. That's a good question- I'm unsure. I do love Sonic and the Sonic movies, though. In fact, Sonic Wonders of the World was one of the early videos I've done :)

It would have 100% altered the course of the Fox Marvel movies AND the MCU (they never would have gotten Daredevil back!)
