Rutger was definitely one of a kind. His Amazing off the cuff scene in Blade Runner (Tears in Rain ) was unbelievable 👏. Such a shame he is no longer with us. Godspeed Rutger 🙏 🙏. 🇬🇧
YES that scene. And it's good to see him being appreciated for what he was.Yeah, he was kind of underrated.I tend to like the ones that are a little underrated.Who are really rather spectacular
Brilliant in Blade runner. Should have won the academy award. Ending roof scene was his writing. He came up with it and delivered it. Masterpiece of a scene.
I’m not sure whether anyone else has mentioned it on here, but just a little (not fun) fact : Rutger Hauer was in the original (1982) Blade Runner which was set in the future (2019)….His character died in that film and also Rutger passed away in real life in 2019. RIP 🙏
Yes, I agree. He does play the wildest roles. Definitely miss Rutger Hauer he was one of the good actors that I liked watching in movies you will be missed

I always wanted to see a sequel or a TV show with this movie. Rutger Hauer was an awesome actor. He did another good 80s hit Wanted: Dead or Alive, which is based on the Steve McQueen classic TV show.
This was an awesome movie. I remember the scene I liked best was the one where he's driving and he askes the passengers if they were in a tunnel and they yelled STOP!!! and he stopped about a foot from the building in front of them.
Rutger Hauer beats local bullies by being Rutger Hauer. Bullies lose by not realiseing he is Rutger Hauer. He was such a good actor, playing everything from psychopaths to comic heroes and sorely missed.
My introduction to Rutger was in the TV miniseries INSIDE THE THIRD REICH, as the Nazi architect Albert Speer. For me, one of the greatest performances ever. Riveting.
Awesome gem of a movie, always remembered how awesome the ladies eyes were in this one... plus deadlock, if you haven't seen that movie, its well worth a watch.... viva la 80's

His work in Blade Runner is spectacular . And he changed up the lines a bit for that roof scene much to everyone's benefit .

He also did a character in a cyberpunk-horror game called Observer. Just in case you missed it.
