Rutger Hauer beats local bullies by being Rutger Hauer. Bullies lose by not realiseing he is Rutger Hauer. He was such a good actor, playing everything from psychopaths to comic heroes and sorely missed.
My introduction to Rutger was in the TV miniseries INSIDE THE THIRD REICH, as the Nazi architect Albert Speer. For me, one of the greatest performances ever. Riveting.
The Hitcher is one of the most disturbing movies ever. He was amazing in that. And Split Second is one of the best Cheesy B-Movie Buddy flicks you’ll ever see. RIP Mr. Hauer.
Awesome gem of a movie, always remembered how awesome the ladies eyes were in this one... plus deadlock, if you haven't seen that movie, its well worth a watch.... viva la 80's

His work in Blade Runner is spectacular . And he changed up the lines a bit for that roof scene much to everyone's benefit .

What a bold stance to take. And knowing that factoid you added, were you part of the film crew? Is this Ridley Scott?
@@MouthBreatherGaming actually, I AM Ridley Scott.........

He didn't change up the lines, he wrote the whole monologue and helped to direct the scene.
This was a kick ass flick. Rutger Hauer did a lot of cool movies.
I love the scene when he cuts off the man’s eyebrows 😂
He also did a character in a cyberpunk-horror game called Observer. Just in case you missed it.
😂😂😂
He also does circumcisions. 😈
That man was such a LEGEND!! He is gone but will never be forgotten!!
Who??? 🤔
Rutger Hauer was a great actor. My favorite flicks he played in were Night Hawks and The Hitcher. Rest in peace brother.
Hitcher and the character inspired many movies and his performance was frightening.
That's right. Nighthawks! With Sly . Good film😊
I don't think I ever saw Night Hawks. The Hitcher was great, and I liked him in Ladyhawke, with Matthew Broderick and Michelle Pfeiffer.
