- Opening Scene | THE MINISTRY OF UNGENTLEMANLY WARFARE (2024) Movie CLIP HD
The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare - Available now on digital to rent or own! Starring Henry Cavill, Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun, Henrique Zaga, Til Schweiger, with Henry Golding and Cary Elwes.
Based upon recently declassified files of the British War Department and inspired by true events, THE MINISTRY OF UNGENTLEMANLY WARFARE is an action-comedy that tells the story of the first-ever special forces organization formed during WWII by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a small group of military officials including author Ian Fleming. The top-secret combat unit, composed of a motley crew of rogues and mavericks, goes on a daring mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and utterly “ungentlemanly” fighting techniques. Ultimately their audacious approach changed the course of the war and laid the foundation for the British SAS and modern Black Ops warfare.

Can someone please just cast this guy as Blazkowicz?
YEEES WHY DOES THIS NOT EXIST YET FFS
Yes, I have been saying this since I saw him in Reach the man it so perfect to play Blazkowicz and I would think the storyline would be a huge hit. It has so much to it, it would make an incredible movie, or even better a series.
The resemblance is uncanny!

The perfect Jewish golem
Ritchson's "Swedish" accent was hilarious.
I don't think it was supposed to be accurate but done for comedic relief, and it was perfect for that.
@@ComedyBros5
Most likely, just as what it would have been originally
Sveeedish
@@Joe_Brown99 Oh yeah, there's no way Ritchson could do anything close to an accurate Swedish accent, but I found his character very entertaining regardless.
Well he is playing a Danish man so I guess he's swedish acent is bad.

Love to see Alan Ritchson get bigger roles, his success is long overdue
Bigger roles for a big dude
Seriously. I’ve been waiting for him to take off since the BMS and Smallville days
I think it arrived just in time. He used to be a big goof ball, especially after BMS. Then he put on another 40 lbs, grew up 10 years, and now he looks like Paul Bunyon. He actually looks like an adult and not an overgrown teenager. He deserves the success, but it's not overdue, it's just his due.

Funny as heck!😂
Everyone should read the book. These heroes were responsible for huge German setbacks. Arguably war- winning missions.
Agreed, this is where Delta force, Rangers, SAS, SBS. and all special forces were born. They helped win the war, by killing the nazi nuclear program. It's a shame that that the writers felt like they had to embellish this story.. These guys were just lethal.

Seems to me that there's a new signature move from Guy Ritchie films: poor marketing and film distribution. I had to drive 45min one way to a theater that played this. It's frustrating because this one was a blast and his movies deserve so much more love. They always get right down to business and never waste any time. The Covenant and Wrath of Man were the same way. At least his recent Gentleman series seemed to be pretty popular!
Wrath of Man was amaaaaazing.
Wrath of the Man is incredibly good, even though Jason just playing himself again
Thanks for letting this guy know, been a fan of Ritchie since Snatch & Rock n Rolla...
@@kirsvald9513 It was the first movie from Statham that I enjoyed since Crank. He played himself but he also gave a really nuanced dramatic performance, like he was actually committed to the role.
@@andypurugganan2352 It's definitely not as good as Snatch, but not really comparable due to different stories. Ministry is just a really fun movie. Naysayers will say it lacks heart, which yes, it could have more of, but I thought Eiza Gonzales' character added plenty of heart to the movie.
They were formed as the 'SOE' (Special Operations Executive).

@@ComedyBros5 Well judging by the comment it seems to suggest he hasn't heard of this movie before watching this trailer so I would assume he hasn't watched it.
@@ComedyBros5reference to two scenes-the more obvious scene being the opening scene from Inglorious Bastards with the drawn-out conversation ultimately ending in violence, etc. the influences are pretty straightforward and Guy Ritchie likes to milk them.
Henry Cavill needs to be Commissar Cain just based off that performance

Once the title screen came on with that music, everybody be thinking on thing…TARANTINO.

@@davidthirugnanakumar7888 wish him and Jason Statham can be with each other again, now Jason Statham is a cliche action star anyway, but he still does gives something new everytime working with Guy Ritchie
@@davidthirugnanakumar7888I kept thinking while watching this it would have been better if it had been done by Tarantino
This movie is basically the ww II movie with the flame thrower that tarantino makes fun of in once upon a time.
I was hoping for something more akin to lock stock and I think there's some of that, just not enough.

I was disappointed about being on call opening weekend. Turned out one theater had a sneak peek the weekend before. There were only a dozen people in the theater.
because it's a low budget Tarantino rip off. Unoriginal story using cheap actors with bad fake accents to try to revamp IP without actually paying for it. Save your money, this is pathetic.
@@user-tp6od9md6y It was a great movie, wtf are you talking about?
Serious “spaghetti western” score vibes- somewhere Ennio Morricone is smiling 😊
Excellent film!! very well documented historically, fantastic team, congratulations!! Excellent representation of Henry Cavill and the entire team.
Looks like a replay of "The Guns of Navarone," the first and still the best of the "let's get a disparate group together for a crazy mission," type films.
Except it’s based on a true story
“Based” is perhaps stretching it. The names are (mostly) the same and the mission occurred. Other than that, there’s nothing historical about it. Still a fun movie, but it definitely stretches “based on true events” almost to the point of snapping.
I mean.. they took the ships out of the harbour and somewhat the resistance by the Admiralty was displayed, but more than that.. yeah

meh, he's made a lot of great movies, but Revolver was one giant piece of crap. Saw the opening of the Toronto Film Festival. No one in the crowd could follow the plot....Despite a great cast, it sucked and bombed.
This reminds me of the boat scene from Guns of Navarone
Guns of Navarone retread with a harpsichord. Al’s “Hans and Franz” girly man accent is pretty funny.
4:14 the guy behind him has the slowest reaction time ever.
Yeah, you'd think 12 men who should be on alert would be able to get 1 shot off.
he read the script ...
Makes sense, considering it's in slow-motion. Heh.
@@sirmarshall9521 yeah but you see like a dozen actions, which would’ve taken a couple of seconds in real time, while the guy on high alert holding a machine pistol in the ready position, isn’t reacting. You see this allot in movies
@@G4x5da it’s improbable, but not impossible. One could argue that his men were on the lookout for guns or some kind of evidence that they were allied spies, so someone just jumping up and suddenly sledding the commanders throat could have reasonably taken them off guard long enough for, the good guys on the boat to take action
