"Smith & Wesson... and me"! Gold. My mum and dad said that it was the first sentence that I ever spoke! Well, maybe not, but I've repeated it enough times that it might as well have been.
@@BFBCFTW if you've watched the full series, there are many occasions when Harry calls for backup before entering into the scene himself.. then he goes, demolishes everything and the backup arrives 😂 he's called Dirty for a reason
After the first dirty harry movie came out, which introduced the s&w model 29 (44). Sales for the model 29 alone went up by 400%, ya it sold, it was a great marketing campaign, as good as the navy in top gun (1986) and Ford mustang in bullit (1968).
The third most powerful handgun in the world. Some folks have taken a charging bear down with it . Next up is the 44 Magnum , last but not least the model 500. www.smith-wesson.com/firearms/model-sw500-0
Dude, imagine if Harry had lost and he died in the gun fight, he basically just walked in there and named the woman who ratted them out; she'd be a goner for sure.
They're aiming at him, he slowly reaches for his gun, even says what brand of gun it is, and they still get beanten to the draw somehow. Being an action hero can't be too hard when the bad guys are this incompetent.
I can play this, the bank robbery "Do I Feel Lucky" shoot out and the Kezar Stadium "Go get some fresh air, Fatso" scene from "Dirty Harry" on a continuous loop. Great lines all delivered with that famous Eastwood furrowed brow.
His "partner in crime" had just ran across the room in front of him, he probably stopped because he didn't want to shoot his partner and may have lost sight of Harry as a result...
I love it when goons practice proper firearms safety. Especially that last one who didn't have his finger on the trigger and pointing his gun away from his hostage. What a nice guy.
I love this scene but 2:41 is rather stupid. Harry shoots the guy running to the left (his right), while the guy right in front of him just stands... He doesn't shoot Harry, doesn't run or get down... Pretty stupid I'd say
When you see the hole size at the end of the barrel of his 44,that's why it goes through windshields and doesn't deviate, unlike the other ballshooters
Friends dont think for a second that a .38 in the hand of an untrained civilian is going to take care of armed and dangerous men like that. Dont even think about it.
It seems to me that the actor playing the first goon can't hide how much fun he was having during the shoot
I would rather say he played well
@@ooops372 Everyone had fun, even Clint. Five guys robbing a coffee shop? nope.
Like Holy Shit! I'm in Clint Eastwood movie
"GO ahead, make my day" and "Get Off My Lawn" 2 best line in movie history. Both owned by Clinton Eastwood.
And he already killed 4 man and still wasn't enough to make his day 😂😂
Dying ain’t much of a living boy. Is a very good line
I know what you are thinking…is the best
Yeah, when Mr.Regan said that,it was really good too!!
Do I feel lucky, well d'ya punk? Is iconic
that smith line is 1 of the greatest movie quotes of all time

Fastest police response time ever... 20 seconds from the first shot.
To be fair, he probably went back to his car and radioed it in before he went in the back
I spoke to Clint, he called for backup before he went back in, perfect timing!!

Man! Clint Eastwood Rocks In Every Movie, From Westerns To Dirty Harry & All Other Movies!!!😁
Two immortal quotes---within about 90 seconds of movie time!
"Smith, Wesson and me" for the first one, right?! And what is the second? "Go ahead! Make my day!"?
@@guillaume8437yes you are correct
I know huh
"Well we're not just gonna let you walk out of here."
"Who's we?"
"Smith and Wesson and me."
No more BAMF than that.

Favorite Clint Quote : "I'm all for gun control so as long as I'm the one holding the gun.."👍👍👍👍
Smith and Wesson and Eastwood should actually be a name for a gun lol.
I could be wrong, but I think the Dirty Harry movies made revolvers one of the most famous gun types of all time
After the first dirty harry movie came out, which introduced the s&w model 29 (44). Sales for the model 29 alone went up by 400%, ya it sold, it was a great marketing campaign, as good as the navy in top gun (1986) and Ford mustang in bullit (1968).
I personally concur. Much in the way that Nascar made cars the most famous mode of transportation
30 years of cowboy movies would like a word
made the model 29 famous
The S&W 44 Magnum became the most popular revolver ever and most sold of all time.
Dude gets hit with a 44 MAGNUM round and he's still able to get back up and grab a hostage? Yeah, right.
He only nicked him lol
Ahhhhhh. Same town. Steve McQueen and Bullitt!! Greatest piece of filmography EVAH!!
San Fran Needs Harry badly.
San Fran needs a cleansing fire.
@@stevemcrichards8768 that would be round two

Never argue with Messrs. Smith and Wesson.
Add Mr. Colt, and Messrs. Heckler and Koch to that list
never gets old
Did you see the size of that barrel !?! That’s a hand cannon. 3:17 He decided to keep his face.
great black actors and clint also
Today it would be racism. - "Die hard III" learned from it having Samuel Jackson on the good side.

My Father Loved This Scene!
Dude this is a good scene they actually counted how many rounds he would have left
A lot of sugar, and I just come back to complain.
Wuh..we’re not going to let you just walk out of here.” Lol. This is what we need right now.
DO NOT underestimate dirty harry.
This is awesome . I’ve watched this I don’t know how many times!
Authentic California parking job.
The best gun ad ever.
Did you notice that unlike today they didn't say phones as what they wanted.
She dumped the sugar so he would come back n complain, and while he at it save their asses. Smart move by that woman
The close sign did not help either.
Best Scene. I seen it when I was a kid and now I am just an old man.
In the 80s that line was ultra famous. Songs were sung about it. And it was included in many parodies.
Another great movie scene that wouldn't fly today, unfortunately.
any one notice how long this video is 3.57
Andy Coakes damn right!
but it dosent use .357 magnum rounds its too powerful.
what its a 357 magnum
Andy Coakes Its 44 Remington rounds. It varies as some can take a few different types.

To this day, she's pouring sugar.
Ronald Reagan used that line. "Make My Day." It's not only a part of Hollywood history, but it is a part of history.
The sound of his gun has always been cool.
Gotta be ice cold with criminals. None of this catch them alive BS.
Dude, imagine if Harry had lost and he died in the gun fight, he basically just walked in there and named the woman who ratted them out; she'd be a goner for sure.
We need more Dirty Harrys
We're there.

Seeing all that sugar gave me diabetes and trauma 😵

For American it will be incredible, but a lot of European liberals love Dirty Harry movies. For example, I love 'em too :P .
Classic love it
Clint Eastwood’s character is actually Smith Wesson and his gun is called Me in this movie
When police officers were allowed to do their duty.
1:41 When he saw Dirty Harry, he had that "Oh Sh'it" look on his face.

Looking down the barrel of a .44 like that, it looks like a mineshaft 😂
I like how they didn't notice his car was still there and he never left.
lol "ask him if coffee is psychic" XD
Harry is suich a badass
"Make My Day" ❤
Idolo ,hay barrer la basura.
Aint no way 3 dudes just standing there while he slloooòwly pulls out an absolute cannon lol😂😂😂
Great video for teaching people the power of using "the Royal We"
And the big Lebowski as well.
I have never looked down the barrel of a .44 and I never want to. Looks like a cavern.
..Of Death!
Iconic. Love it
You can't make movies like that anymore.
Great acting in this segment from everyone, sucker
I feel like that second shot on the one guy was a wasted bullet
it depends . the 225 dart gets 25 with steady highway driving. 37 is possible.
as much as I love this scene, it bothers me that guy @2:40 just stands there, instead of trying to shoot Harry...
Guess you can say he froze up haha
His "partner in crime" had just ran across the room in front of him, he probably stopped because he didn't want to shoot his partner and may have lost sight of Harry as a result...
I said the same thing
I love it when goons practice proper firearms safety. Especially that last one who didn't have his finger on the trigger and pointing his gun away from his hostage. What a nice guy.
He was in shock
He is so cool
That plan would've probably went south had he sipped the coffee inside the diner.
I hate to disagree with you Joe but its not probably but is the best scene in cinema history hope ya understand thanks
So, those dudes didn't realize that homegirl was spending more than 4 seconds pouring sugar into his coffee?

I could be wrong. But the last African man in the green jacket who got shot may be just an innocent customer but Harry don’t take no prisoners
In. Trinidad and Tobago we need a dirty Harry in the police service
We need inspector Callahan now in San Francisco.
Odd but good scene
