Thank you Richard it was a good one to do. Not sure what next weeks will be at the moment. Could be Jaguar, Ford Transit or Maserati. I’ve got the big Dinky Capri in line too. I expect that to take a while. Thanks for watching 👍
Nice job on the VW, Andy! What an improvement. Really good colour, proving that red and green CAN be seen! I always try and draw the spring wire so that the axles come out - saves a lot of time, noise and paint-chip risk when you don't have to peen the axles over. Short, curved-nose pliers work (when I am not using them for removing pin bones from salmon..) and if the wires get a little out of shape, you can still rotate them in the centre housings on reassembly.
That paint is really nice to apply. It’s about triple the price of the Auto Extreme brand I normally use though unfortunately. The cheapest place to buy decent paint at a good price is an auto jumble👍 Thank you for watching and commenting 👍
Thank you Graham it turned out really nice. I had a better idea for the hook afterwards and might do a one minute video on that if it works when I test it
Nice colour choice, really sets it off😊😊😊😊
