What spectacular scenery you have down there, great costal walks. The giant hole/ creator was amazing and real nice lifeboat station and lighthouse. Must admit, I could stay there as well! Cheers Alan

Fabulous walk with fantastic views to the west - epitomises the Cornish coast - loved the reminder!
The weather was perfect and wind whipping up the spray from the waves was very impressive.
Your brown doggie is so funny digging for treasure - our's haven't found any either yet but they also have a mad five mins!
That house built by Rick Stein's father, John thinks could suffer from coastal erosion! Also, Andrew, the middle path would have been, umm, interesting!
We will try to incorporate part of this walk in to one of our marathons later this year - looking forward to your next video and wondering where you will be taking us next.

Brought back a memory of being at primary school and going to Trevose.I remember the winds were horrendous that particular day and we lent into the wind to the side of the lighthouse and it was so fierce it held us up whilst leaning off a grassy bank,i was a lot lighter then! You both captured some beautiful scenes there,stunning.Happy wanders,Andy.
I remember holding open my Kagool, like wings, and leaning over the cliffs with me Dad while my Mum fretted in the background! Sarah :)

Thanks for yet another great walk. This one looks like it might be do-able for my Tricia (arthritic knees). Your dogs don't know how lucky they are with those huge beaches to race across and sand to dig, streams to splash in and drink from. Not to forget their great owners who take them on new adventures all the time.

Hi Chris, Lovely to hear from you! It is a superb walk, do-able by most, I feel. The steps down to the lifeboat station are not so easy, so you might want to bear that in mind. Plenty of benches for resting, with spectacular views! If you give it a go, let us know! Sarah :)
Hello Sarah and Andrew! Ohhhhhh my goodness..i need this view to be a reality in my life right now. Absolutely gorgeous!! Wow wonder..how the crater came about...oh no wonder it says to take great care. That arch is amazing...i wonder if anyone has ever gone down. Ruby's bay is unique. That clidf..i could never stand above the floor scary..im afraid of heights..loved this.

It's not really a crater (which I believe are created by meteors or explosives). Round holes are created by the action of the sea. It erodes the cliffs & creates caves. Eventually the cave roof collapses in and the round hole is created. There's another one a couple of miles east at Trevone.

Cornish Walking Trails Well thank you Sarah and Andrew (that's my middle name) I'm a huge fan of hiking and camping so I'd kill for a summer holiday in Cornwall. My mother's family was from some place by tintagel. I'm at a lose on the town name but I was born and raised in san diego California where I do hiking and junk.
