Been St. Ives many times as a child and when my own kids were growing up and since then. Hayle towans is also nice holiday if St. Ives is full. Nice beach and chalets to hire for a week ot 2. Get on Train from Hayle to St. Earth station then the most picturesque train ride ever to St. Ives. Taking your car there is a problem. Hardly enough car parks. Enjoy. Xx
Hello from Sydney, Australia. Excellent video. Checked it out as my daughter is on holiday in St Ives at the moment and I wanted to be there with her in spirit. She’s staying at The Sloop Inn. I’m so envious. Cornwall is definitely on the agenda for my next overseas holiday. Saving up my pennies. Thank you so much. Cheers, Rebecca.
There are so many more interesting places to what what was mentioned. Bodmin has a great heritage railway. Apart from jail, railway and small military railway nothing else. St Austel is a bit of a dump but several places nearby. On the N coast there is a restored tin mine that gives tours of the mine. Boat trips up the Fal River (NOT Fall!). St Michaels Mount offshore from the fascinating village of Marizion There is a pretty good bus service esp in the summer and reasonable fares. You can take an open top circular bus that starts at Penzance. and goes in both directions covering Porth Curnow along the SW coast then Lands end (dont bother to get off there) St Just, Zenner then St Ives then heads cross country to Marizion. The view coming in to there with St Michaels iand the whole of mounts nay spread out is spectacular. If you have a day ticket (about £6. cheaper pp with a family ticket) you can hop on or of any time and use the same ticket ANYWHERE in Cornwall. Only exception is town buses in St Ives
As noticed his pronunciation (or is it an A1 bot) of place names is excruciating. No only that the inclusion of Bodmin and St Austell is strange. The main places of interest are outside of St Austell. No mention of Charlestown. Both towns are dumps. There's a saying in Cornwall about going Bodmin. Truro... No mention of Trelissick Lovely house with incredible gardens. Minnack theatre is NOT in Penzance but Porth Curno. This also has a fascinating telegraph museum as the first transatlantic cables came in here (and indeed.. still do. Lizard peninsula no mention. At least he didn't include Lands End.
I’m planning a trip to the UK & Liskeard is on our itinerary. My great-grandfather was born in Liskeard in 1832. He immigrated to America when he was 17 or 18. Do you happen to know anyone with the last name of Borrow? His mother’s maiden name was Stephen’s.
Cornwall is beautiful and wonderful in all its places
Newquay is pronounced with the ending being( KEY)
Its Ai talking..
I cant wait to go to Nukeway
Damn AI commentary...
Love Cornwall, I’ve just come back from a weeks holiday.❤️

Thank you for using my photo of Truro Cathedral (@1.46). 👍
Just moved to Cornwall from London & looking forward to exploring 😀

Time to book a flight 🎉❤❤
I was born here and lived in London for a while but have now retired here.
Polperro, Fowey, Padstow and Bude should have found their way into the top 10.
The Cornwall museum was an exceptional one,but it's closing!
UGH..I hate robot voices.... until they take over... then I will like the overlords voices
AGREED.😱😱😱😱😱👍👍👍👍
Yep me too, not watching.
They are a reminder that AI is still pretty stupid.
😢😢😢😢😮😮
Its bad enough to have a robot talking...but an American accent praising the most beautiful part of the UK, is disgusting 😢😢
Bodmin? Penzance? St Austell? Newquay? Good God.
Couldn’t agree more the bloke has obviously never been here
Cornwall England
What about king 👑 Arthur attraction 😮

I am so shocked that LISKEARD is not on the list !! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
We have many estate agents, charity shops? Spoons and a Spar !

No Bodmin or Redruth in this video ? Proper tourist hotspots, real pubs and everything.
As others have noted, there are a number of mispronunciations in this video.
It’s new key not new quay. Lived there.
Time for a corner pasti
Let's have a cornish presenter please
0:26 um, that looks more like southeast Asia or Central America than Cornwall.
Time to book a flight!
Ok

@@jacknorris5534 Nearby?
Nice👌👌👌
Thank you! :)
Are you computer or a human?
Newquay is pronounced 'Newkey'
Newquay is pronounced as New Key.
3:30 hahahah visit bodmin
Why an american commentator; especially one who mispronounces every name?
They're even spelt incorrectly lol
it’s AI - robot voice - not a real person
You just need to learn how to pronounce place names.! 😱
I just wonder : are you a local or working for some turist agency...You pronouce the names of the places in a way that makes me ask..Sorry 😉🏴☠️
Turist is spelt tourist…
AI Bot.......
St Ives has been ruined just like parts of Cornwall 😢
Why there is a Chinese boat in this video?! I hate when someone who even didn’t visit the place to talk or make a video for it...
Bloody hell, he can't pronounce the qute town's name correctly can he
Maybe next time he'll visit Devon to see 'Tork-away'
The AI voice is intolerable.
NEWKWAY??? For god's sake learn how to pronounce English!!!
newquay is pronounced newkey
