Great setup, as for speakers, try getting a small subwoofer first. you can tuck it out of sight and it will fill in the lower frequencies and you can tune the desk speakers for mid and highs.
Dope desk setup Naj! My fave are the Mac Studio, desk shelf, Logitech MX Master mouse, black pegboard, soft light, wall lights and the big monitor. I can’t wait to do my own desk setup tour in 2024. Good luck on your YT channel. Keep creating bro 👊!
What hub connection you use to connect everything together PlayStation and the pc. I have to unplug and connect every time I want to switch consoles. Thank you 🙏
First time being on this channel, loving this vibe! Clean audio and video with a very high quality content with out over doing the editing. Keep up this week brotha definitely earned my sub for the years to come ❤️
great video! I'm a little confused why you talked about wanting to get new speakers when you use your headphones instead though lol Thank you for sharing!
It’s a fair point but sometimes you need to edit sound and see what it sounds like on speakers with bass. It’s not necessary but a nice to have :) thank you for dropping by appreciate the support
For speakers, I highly recommend the focal Alpha 50's evo or Alpha 65 Evo's. You'll have your eyes opened to good audio from these. Way nicer the the Yamaha HS5's everyone goes for.
If you're looking for great monitors (speakers) i would go with Genelec. I have them myself and they are in a lot of smal & big industries for music producers/video editors. I can only speak highly of them. They are on the expensive side, but man do i love them. I personally have the 8040's. But it depends on your room really. You can go bigger or smaller. I decided to go in the middle and they are the ones that most other studio's uses as well. But again, it's something you got to try out for yourself. 🙂
Worth mentioning that while a 42 inch is perfect for controller gaming, It is just too big for Keyboard and Mouse gaming unless your desk is at least 1m+ deep. I tried the C2 for a week and at that size without a curve, the edge of the screen seems to fall away. Shame, because I wanted it to work so much, I loved the idea of having a 42 inch screen to work on.
Your point is very true! Definitely meant more for console gamers who can chill back a bit and not stay close to the screen! Shame it didn’t work out but yes for me it’s perfect especially for productivity. Massive real screen estate
Nice Setup. For your speaker, I recommend the Audio Engine 5. The developers of the speakers were from some great audio makers such as harman and apple which seems they are very experienced people. Their product really shines among the rest as the sound quality of their speakers is definitely something.
It’s really simple. Apply some double sided adhesive to the bottom edge where it touches against the table then rest it against the desk shelf and it won’t budge..ever :)
Amazing setup… What did you start with initially, what was the first the walls? Would be great to hear. I’ve finally got the space to have a setup just deciding on colour themes/equipment but struggling with where to start! :(
Hi, I have a question about the focusrite and the headphones: are you using bluetooth for the latter, or the direct monitor output in the focusrite? If so, how are you hiding the cable? Thank you!
Hey! For now I’m using Bluetooth. I do plan to get some wired headphones and I’d probably buy a wire long enough which goes below the desk then into the focusrite
The foam wall panels are the worst things I've ever used, my setup looks essentially the exact same as this without the brick panels. The adhesive is insanely sticky and a nightmare if you place them wrong! Love the setup!
I also have the MX Master 3 for my new M3 Max MacBook. I just found out that the polling rate of the mouse can’t take advantage of the frame rate of the Mac nor my external monitor. It’s a small inconvenience but once I noticed it, everything seems so jittery compared to the track pad.
Oh really? What’s the frame rate your monitor? I know what you mean. It’s a small detail but does make a difference if you’re someone who takes details into considerations. I know it would bug me too definitely
@@naj_visuals I have a 70hz QHD monitor at my home office and a 144hz QHD+ at my work office. The mouse is great up until I'm doing some heavy work, then it'll get jittery, thinking about sacrificing the ergonomic and getting a magic mouse. By the way great video, the info about the PC mode for the TV was a detail I haven't heard before. The potential blurriness was exactly why I avoided considering a TV for monitor. good job!
Thanks for sharing. Great video! Been following on IG for quite some time. I kinda wanna get the c2 42" too but since I work mostly I'm scared of burn in.. Do you know of any shelf that is a bit cheaper?
Thank you so much for following along my journey. Honestly I would check out Amazon. I think there are some decent ones there otherwise most are expensive because it’s a very in demand and competitive product
Also burn ins aren’t common anymore. The technology has pixel shifts. So your screen shifts the pixels in intervals. Otherwise apart from that I’d just recommend not having icons on the desktop etc
Hello brother, do you find that the halo light creates a glare on the screen? I've been thinking about upgrading to an oled monitor myself and was wondering about the light bar.
Please did you come across any burn-in on the monitor? I fear using oled for my work which consists of windows of chrome open and standing still for the most part (online marketing, excel, chrome, tabs…) :(
Hey! Honestly new oleds have plenty of technology to prevent burn in. Stuff like pixel shift so the pixels are moved in the display in intervals so theres never a prolonged period of static use. I’ve had mine for quite some time and I use it everyday for hours 6-8 😊
@@naj_visuals Thank you very much! I avoid oleds just because my Samsung s7 had burn ins after 6 months (and it was just a phone, not a work monitor). But if it is okay, then why not buy the new OLED lcd, it is much more affordable now and the colors/contrast are awesome :). I was just so afraid because all the 8 hours I have a lot of static content on-screen.
Thank you for living my Dream , Love from Africa
Thank you for your support
OMG i need that duster! I cant believe how dusty the UK houses are for such a damp Island. Feels as if we don't stop cleaning. Thanks for this video!!
Haha yes same here too! I know what you mean. I got this from Lidl 😂👊 appreciate you stopping by
Swiffer, no?
@@bakerlol Looks like a Swiffer to me. I got one with an extendable handle. Works great for otherwise hard to reach places.

Hi - what size is your desk? Since there are more than one size 😃 really love this whole setup!
Hey it’s the smallest one. There are two sizes.mines the 186cm one :)

Hello, thanks for the review, please what’s the Desk Mat Wool Felt? The Link is kinda broken 😬
Hey! It’s the desk mat from balolo. They only sell that one. Use my code mentioned in the description to save some 💲
Nice Setup. For your speaker, I recommend the Audio Engine 5. The developers of the speakers were from some great audio makers such as harman and apple which seems they are very experienced people. Thank you 🙏 ah great thanks for the recommendation. Sounds pretty trustworthy. Will definitely check them out 👊
Awesome setup!!! Where can we find the brick wall install?
Thank you so much! I mentioned it. On Amazon. Should be linked in description
Love the setup. How do you have the bottom monitor mounted? Is it just resting on the desk shelf? I’d like to do something similar
It’s really simple. Apply some double sided adhesive to the bottom edge where it touches against the table then rest it against the desk shelf and it won’t budge..ever :)

love the setup. If you dont mind which HDMI to uspc cable do you use to connect the TV to your mac so you get 120Hertz???
I use a cable from ugreen :)
Great job!
How did you attach the desktop to the cabinets and stand? Did you screw them?
Where can I get the wood wall panels from? Love the aesthetics 🔥
Thank you so much. They’re from a brand called fibrotech but woodupp sells them too. Look up: wooden slats and you’ll find some local ones maybe too
