Would you be willing to do a mini review and show them head to head with the base plates? Hated the rounded edges of the 2.0 plates for the phat PS5, but these new slim ones look like a very nice improvement.

i think the major difference here is no wire from that external monitor in the middle which was awkwardly placed, which made everything look nicer. and removing the center shelf showed off more wood.. but then, removing that center shelf took away the versatility of the table. that’s just my opinion i’d have kept the old setup but remove the external monitor

Worth mentioning that while a 42 inch is perfect for controller gaming, It is just too big for Keyboard and Mouse gaming unless your desk is at least 1m+ deep. I tried the C2 for a week and at that size without a curve, the edge of the screen seems to fall away. Shame, because I wanted it to work so much, I loved the idea of having a 42 inch screen to work on.

PSA!! I have the same desktop and bought the balolo (which is shipped from Europe) because I saw so many videos showcasing this shelf, so I really wanted to love it but when it arrived I was disappointed because the color just straight up doesn't match. Like it's not even close, it's very noticeable. I had to pay for the return all the way to Europe, so I lost like $100. So if you care at all about the shelf and desk being similar I do no recommend the Balolo
