That's well and fine to hunt in packs but if you get negative standings and your alone gate jumping for whatever reason and run into them they will melt you.period ,don't forget players with good standings with them will bump you so you can't aline and then pick your bones
What I don't understand, is why the thought process of EDI players was that there wasn't any emerging conduit (EC) sites anymore. THESE ARE EC's, they even give you good salvage and you now have a controlled way of hunting trigs it even gives you the same 5 mil payout as the emerging conduits did. I ran these alone with an alt because no one really wants to run these, but I have close to 5 bill in trig loot.. Anyway, here are some pretty good strategies to help you find trig holes easier. - Keep an alt inside of pochven(so inside your system of interest), pref a cloaked or covert ops (you will guarantee find the hole, though keep in mind once the hole is closed it may take some time for the hole to show back up) - The WH that you scan down will ALWAYS be a class 2 WH(I know you said that hateless :) ), so if you don't have an alt and your scanning fast, look for the class 2 WH. (Though, it doesn't mean that its a fresh one, they stay on the WH regardless of how recent it is) - There are specific triggers outside the spawns that trigger the *waves* of trigs, but there are also trigs(Hospodar pretty sure) that will infinitely spawn as you kill them. I'm sure hateless will find this out the more he does them (same format as Minor's I think) - Be in range for your MTU if you can, be aware that if someone has positive standings with the trigs, they can come in and take your items in your MTU, then just go back to the WH.
So anyone can take from your mtu?! Didnt think that was possible! How do you find the infinity spawn trigs and do they still drop trig salvage? Do you fancy having a chat about this sometime? My corp is trying to specialise in it. We already specialise in abyss but this was our next focus.

it is possible it moved while looking for it so double check ALL the system the other bit of advise is check all the signatures in your probe scanner if the wh is fresh there will be no npcs in system and you have to go scan down the wh

This is not necessarily true with scarce materials. This is what the usual hobby economist doesn't understand. If the price is extremely high, you have a big margin, but quite often a small base revenue, therefore your profit might be mediocre too. (profit = margin x revenue) Now, if the price-demand curve would be linear, it would be easy to calculate your optimal price, if we take you as a monopolist (which you hint at). However, we KNOW that the price-demand curve is NOT linear! In Eve you have several price level, where the demand suddenly changes drastically: Fleet doctrines! I.e. Highsec fleets like incursions opt in at quite high prices. Strategic LS fleets opt in at slightly cheaper prices. NS strategic fleets require both stable price and HIGH SUPPLY! Last one would be mainline roaming NS fleets. Each of these special demands, represents a sudden demand-jump. Just imagine, you can sell Ikitursas at a price of 800mio now. With more supply, the price lowers to 700mio. However, suddenly, the supply is large enough to replace a full 255 pilot whelp, and it becomes a strategic NS doctrine for NS (TEST for example). Suddenly, this higher supply unlocked a much higher demand. And the price tanks back up to 800mio, at a much higher revenue level then before! This is a normal process that happens when something becomes a norm. However, it can only happen at certain supply levels. And it happens from time to time, my most obvious experience was in TEST when A-type small armor reppers were become doctrine, after two weeks, the markets were too dry, that it was downgraded to B and C type. Could the supply have sustained the "losses" the price and volume would have been able to stay high.
