Love my Mizuno Fli Hi 2 iron. It's game changing for me to have as a second option off the tee when driver not on it and forgiving enough to hit off the deck.

Haven't played a "3" iron in over 20yrs. Had a huge gap at the top end and got fit into the U505 this season. Game changer for me, especially on shortish Par 4's off the tee. Loving it.
Nice comparison! I have been gaming TM Sim DHY 3 & 4 this year.
Golf is such a game of confidence, if Lee had the confidence he has in sim on the course then he could really be a decent player 👌
So as someone who likes Long Irons vs hybrids although i have both, I play the U505 in a 2 iron and for me off the tee i cant say how good it is, the ease of use and the fact i can hit the ball high and low, fade and draw with it says how versatile it is. That may be and probably is to do with the ability of the person who is using the club. But for me it sits exactly where i want it and im super happy with it!
Driving irons are not forgiving enough, surely a hybrid or 5 wood is better 🏴👊⛳
Still gaming a mizuno mp-h4 3 iron. Love it. It’s my go-to off the tee on narrow par 4’s. Also gaming a 4 hybrid to reach longer par 4’s or 5’s.
I work in a golf retail shop. I love fitting players into these two clubs. Some players even went for the new ping iCrossover

Have to admit at 67 I have moved to hybrids, my irons stop at 6. I use a 7 wood and 22 degree hybrid and sometimes a 19 degree hybrid. No use for the long irons anymore. But I still have them, for memories sake I guess.
I am so going to need to have a set of Titleist irons at some point. I love my sub70s and I’m pretty decent with them these days but whenever I see the Titleist clubs, if only in aesthetics they really do appeal.
Great review boys I have to say I play a three hybrid but I haven’t gone along the iron looking route,I just thought as I was going along that route as a hybrid it would definitely look different to the irons or maybe as I got one so long ago that the iron looking one weren’t about lol I just know I struggled to use a 3 iron

Cobra King Utility is a real strong utility option
I bought a TaylorMade SIM UDI Utility Driving Iron as a lockdown purchase (not always a good idea) because I have always preferred long irons over hybrids. Although TBH it hasn't performed any better than my standard set 3 iron, doesn't even make the bag at the moment. Although I am aware that loads of players love these sort of clubs
I hope that the sim landing area you used for your data shots wasn't that golf hole that you showed yourselves hitting the club on. That would completely throw off both the carry distance and dispersion numbers!! Love the concept of the comparison vids - maybe using a more basic golf hole on the simulator for this type of video would be better??

I was fit for the T200 irons in the offseason. I've been hitting them in the simulator all winter. I am not a big fan of long irons myself and actually went for a 5-GW set. I recently saw a used 4 iron on sale for a pretty good price....might pick that up and see if I can hit it well enough for it to stay in the bag. But then I'll have some decisions to make about what clubs will make up the best 14 for my usual course.

Good comparison vid. They both look good, but at the same time don't really appeal to me. I've tried hitting long irons and just can't get on with them. I'll stick to my hybrid

Only an opinion of course, but for me personally the titliest looks far too intimidating, there doesn't seem to be much help on offer. The taylormade looks more like a hybrid and therefore if I was looking to replace my 19 degree hybrid with 1 of these it would probably be the tm. The smaller face wouldn't worry me tbh as would be similar to my xr hybrid in depth. I am with Lee on hybrids, you have to be a totally good ball striker, there is hardly any room for a bad swing on either of these 3 irons, you make a mistake the balls going tits up. Hybrid mistake and yeah I make a few 😂, for me it's less of a catastrophic error. Good review though. I have a ping 2 iron, it looks good, it looks good at address but I don't carry it because I can for the life of me I cannot hit it. I try to make golf easier for me, not harder

Nope…watched the first 3 or 4 mins then turned off. Not what I want from DHG :-(
