  • We are on our way! Part 2 takes us from Staniel Cay to Normans Cay. Next episode we jump out in the Exuma Sound headed for Rock Sound. From there we head to Spanish Wells with a stop off in Hatchet Bay. Why I don't know, but after spending almost 3 months in the Bahamas down in the Exumas, I was a little apprehensive to jump Spanish Wells to Great Abaco. Why? I am not sure. The jump from Marsh Harbor to Newport R.I. was truly blue water, a 1000 miles, and 8 days, and I was ready for it, and looking forwards to it. But, a day sail Spanish Wells to Great Abaco was unsettling for some reason. Could be because I knew I did not have an ideal destination to anchor.

You have a good challenge! I know 2 women living solo on a 27' and 28' sailboat. Good luck!

No set time. Am still a newish sailor. I left the Bahamas because it was getting too hot and hurricane season was here. Everyone has their strategy I guess.
