    I can’t recommend enough the glass cuticle pushers!!!! I LOVE the cuticle pusher, but I absolutely ADORE the pointy side to go around the cuticle and sidewalls before topcoating to get the junk out and the edges smooth!!!♥️

      I have yet to try that!! 🤯 I need to give that clean up method a try! Thanks for sharing Diane 🙌🏼💖

    I use a used dryer sheet in my baggie instead with a little acetone. Works like a charm and something you already buy that can be reused 😉

    This video is so helpful for new dippers. I’ve been dipping for about a year and have learned so much!! I would say my must haves for dipping are my precision tool and my ergo file for easy cuticle clean up. Tysmfs!! ☺️

    • @SipAndDip
      @SipAndDip  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have an ergo file and keep forgetting to try it! 🤣🙈 do you like to use it for cuticle area clean up after dip powder application?

    Great list Chelsea. I think cupcake liners or something similar to catch the over spills when you dip in. Especially sparkle and co as they jam-pack their jars. Also the tooth pick to stir it before dipping

    I’d add isopropyl alcohol. It’s so helpful for cleaning off the dust off of my nails, taking off the tacky layers from gels and of course cleaning off my scuffed and scrapped cuticles.

    Hi Chelsea! I am obsessed with nail accoutrements and could easily open a tiny store front to sell them!
    I recommend (from Amazon) the Felix Dry Sponges- two cans per order. They are round tins with a dry sponge inside (which can be washed) that will remove all your dip powder from your fluffy brushes! No washing and drying and waiting. I designate one for glitter and the other for non-glitter dips. For less than $10.00 they are SO helpful!
    I also like to use separate liquids and clear top coat for glitter/sparkly dips. Nothing worse that seeing one sparkle on your new mani that doesn’t belong there!
    I would also add a nice desk lamp for fire table lighting. I think untidy manis often are a result of not “painting in the lines” with the liquids.
    P.S. the stiff bristle brush makes a big difference I agree.

      SOOO MANY AMAZING SUGGESTIONS!! Thank you so much for sharing!! You totally reminded me of having a separate clear dip powder for solids and glitters! 🙌🏼 your list is perfect!!

    I think you pretty much nailed it 😉 all the necessities are covered. I do use a drill before buffing the powder, I feel like it gives it a more smooth look. I also use a fan to get everything in. I am a fan of glitter and sometimes the glitters and foils are flying EVERYWHERE and contaminate my other nails. The fan does help, for sure.

    I use dental 🦷 bibs to wipe brushes in between dip liquid use. they are like extra large lint free wipes. I love them! Pretty affordable on Amazon and I also use them to catch excess dip powder as they easily slide the powder right back into cupcake liners for further dipping 🥰💅🏿

    I would add that you can use your swatches to pour powder onto your nails (if you prefer this to actual dipping) while holding your nail over a cupcake liner or the powder jar

    I used the lent free pads to wipe my brush off before placing it back in the bottle if using straight dip method. But what lasts the longest for me is the dip but gel method.
