Thanks for the video. Suggestion: try grinding your salt in the coffee grinder into powder form. This salt will stick to the chips really well. Or stick to anything else you sprinkle salt on. Have a blessed day! 🤗
Not only are you two informative, your funny too! Your comments and facial expressions crack me up! You should also consider doing stand up comedy. Just a thought!
you might try "corn extract" to make a tortilla chip. i've used it with good results in almond-flour based cornbread, can't see why it wouldn't work here too.
Nice tribute in an in the back door way to Bob of Bob's Red Mill- he just recently ( sometime in March) passed away! Anywho, will have to try your chips- I always have mashed potato extract on hand- I use it to make fauxtato cheddar pierogis... thanks for sharing the chips! 💚
I saw an instagram of some lady who piped chicken into noodles and made pre made ramen bowls out of it, turns out she sells it for dogs but interesting to see if that can be done for people
❤ it!! Potato extract is what I will try with cottage cheese chips and this recipe. I like the idea of instant potatoes but think the extract would be better - and likely last longer in my pantry.
I bought the flavor drops a couple years ago especially for cornbread & baked potato I'll have to dig the out. Glad I zip locked baged them. You are right about the smell.😊😅
I absolutely love that you let people know to adjust to your own taste and desires, because it’s the basic that we all try once, and then apply what we would like it to be the next time. But always the starter recipes are great and sometimes they are the only one that some of the shoes. Truly enjoy, every one of your videos…
I totally agree about the smell of the savory flavorings but I actually do have some mashed potato flavoring and now I will definitely be trying this chip concoction!😊 Thank you ladies!❤
I love watching you guys. It is so wonderful that you game to try it all. Keep up the great content. . .So, if you are looking for content ideas, I would love for you to pull out some or your older recipe videos and do updates on them. Today you said that you thought another couple of drops of flavoring would be good. Once you try it, I would love you to update us. Maybe once a quarter you could update on that quarters recipes. You don't have to remake the recipe, unless there is a major technique change that needs demonstration. You have done some updates on things, but often the suggestions you mention at the end don't ever get mentioned again. Just a thought. Thanks for trying it all so we can learn from you!❤
I use those drops all the time and use about 1 tsp in most recipes. I made the hush puppy recipe and put in 2 tsp of sweet corn because evidently they are supposed to taste like corn bread??? Anyway, 2 tsp and it barely had any sweet corn flavor. Thanks again for another fun video. When I am down or sad I just binge watch your videos and it makes me happy. 😃
I try using the potato flakes powder when i want potato flavor. It always makes the dough dry and delicate. Im going to try using more xanthan gum and freezing the dough befor shaping.
Hi there, it’s so much fun watching you guys. maybe somebody has already asked this question but Walmart has many brands of coconut flour. Do you have any idea which one I should pick.
"I want that one" "HA!" You ladies make me laugh. There is nothing that compares to the crunch of a chip. These look like they would fit the bill! Can't wait to try them, Thank you for always conducting trial and error episodes so we learn from you!- Michelle
Try this, instead of freezing it in the freezer after wrapping, try steaming it for 20 minutes, then let it cool. Then use a mandolin slicer to slice it in to very thin slices, then dry the slices out by keaving them out overnight - be careful with your fingers when cutting the slices as those mandolins are lethal! Then deep fry the thin slices (of the fake potato not the slices of your finger tips from the mandolin) i think you will be pleasantly suprised at the result.
Your jellybean story reminded me of how I got sick on hotdogs when I was about 7 or 8. I didn’t eat another hotdog for over 30 years and the smell even made me sick! Smells can really bring on the memories. 😂
Previously, I think it was when you were making keto french fries, you were pretty satisfied with using powdered mashed potatoes. How do you compare the taste of these?
Wow! Those chips look like tortilla chips. If those were right here I would make nachos, meat and cheese with a little Greek yogurt on top. And don’t forget the Frank’s hot sauce for just a little kick. Love your videos keto twins!
Oh yes, the savory concentrates! I ordered One On One (OOO) garlic concentrate and the Parmesan concentrate, oil-based…just taking it out of the packaging was wooooaaahhh! 😂😂😂😂 The smell went away and I put them in the cupboard, and I’ll use them next time I make something like chicken nuggets….or these chips!
I bought some Xantham gum in a local East Asian supermarket. Only one size - about 500g, cost about £7. Its interesting stuff, but I think I will be buried with about 200g of this stuff - and I'm not yet 60. If you can get a tiny quantity - then do so. It gets used about as often as Saffron, and in broadly similar quantities. Also useful when not on keto as a binder in egg for carbonara sauce: might work well with a keto pasta substitute, because those keto noodles are not going to give you 'pasta water'.
I feel your pain, on the spilled extracts - I spilled my Sweet corn flavoring, everywhere - Whoa, that was some stomach churning nasty - It was probably a year before I could even stomach the smell long enough to make keto 'cornbread' scones for my family - and I still haven't been able to eat it - so nasty when it's super concentrated!
OOO flavorings are almost non existent here in Canada…to order on Amazon the US company sending the orders charge more for delivery than what you pay for the bottle. 🤨
They look like cornflakes. Maybe you could add sweetener instead of potato essence and break them into smaller pieces after frying and eat with whatever milk.
@ketotwins thanks - thought so - wanted to b sure - thank you both!! Nice to know everyone has fails & sometimes a small tweek helps! Love ur humor & laid back, fun attitude! Do u have a link to get the potatoe flavoring?

Thanks for the video. Suggestion: try grinding your salt in the coffee grinder into powder form. This salt will stick to the chips really well. Or stick to anything else you sprinkle salt on. Have a blessed day! 🤗
Great idea!
I've bought really finely ground pink salt before, almost powdery to me.
Not only are you two informative, your funny too! Your comments and facial expressions crack me up! You should also consider doing stand up comedy. Just a thought!
KTs - As Wes would say: "Sift Y'all!"

Almost 200,000!!! Your Dad will be smiling down from Heaven on you two for that celebration!
🤗❤️🥹

What???? Perogis? Can you share that recipe?????
Super fine popcorn salt might cling to the chip even better?! This looks really good.
I have already tried this with the cottage cheese chips and it's pretty good. And I use Redmond's real salt over the top
I saw an instagram of some lady who piped chicken into noodles and made pre made ramen bowls out of it, turns out she sells it for dogs but interesting to see if that can be done for people
I love the Heavenly Fan recipe. Now I have to get the flavor! Thank you ladies! Always enjoy your videos!
Good one! I have corn flavor extract 🤔 I wonder if that would make them like corn chips or Fritos!
Good idea!!
❤ it!! Potato extract is what I will try with cottage cheese chips and this recipe. I like the idea of instant potatoes but think the extract would be better - and likely last longer in my pantry.
Seeing (and hearing) them, they seem more like the consistency of Pringle’s chips than true potato chips-which is fine!
Have you tried these with popcorn flavoring powders? Dill Pickle sounds amazing. I can't wait until mine is delivered.
It is all about the crunch! Great job girls!
I bought the flavor drops a couple years ago especially for cornbread & baked potato I'll have to dig the out. Glad I zip locked baged them. You are right about the smell.😊😅

I may try adding that to the cottage cheese "chips". I like easy!
Haha, I thought you said twisted sister and I but you said twin sister and I. You go girls.
I use those drops all the time and use about 1 tsp in most recipes. I made the hush puppy recipe and put in 2 tsp of sweet corn because evidently they are supposed to taste like corn bread??? Yeah I could taste it but should probably use way more
One of my missed sides is a chip.i have the extract will try this weekend. With dip at the ready. Thank you!!!!!
So close to your 200,000!!! That is awesome!
Thank you Cindy! We are so grateful for your support ❤️
Hi! Could we do an air fryer version or baked?
Thanks for the shout out 😅
🤗🤗🤗
This is such a great idea! Thanks! ❤
Another great job, ladies!😃👍😋 That was a lot of ingredients too! Have a blessed week 💜 🙏 ✌️ 🎶 💐 🌞
Thanks for the great recipe! Could you try making ravioli from this dough?
I bet this would be really good with Chris cooking Nashville's faux-tatoes.
I'd like to see you both do a review of Keto Asian Flavours corn tortilla chip recipe.
I try using the potato flakes powder when i want potato flavor. It always makes the dough dry and delicate. Im going to try using more xanthan gum and freezing the dough befor shaping.
I add that flavoring to my cauliflower mash or hashbrown casserole
That's what I had in mind. How does it turn out? How many drops? Thanks!
I was just wondering if it might be good in cauliflower mash!
@@colleensmith1545 I just use 2 or three drops to start and taste from there
Thanks for CHIP SURGERY! 💯🤣
If you put a few drops of water under the bottom roll of wax paper, it won’t slip so much when you’re rolling the dough out..
Hi there, it’s so much fun watching you guys. maybe somebody has already asked this question but Walmart has many brands of coconut flour. Do you have any idea which one I should pick.
We like the great value on it tastes the least like coconut flour!
Love your channel. Thanks for this great chip hack
191k?!Congratulations!
Aww thank you!!
your chip surgery thing was really funny
Have you tried the potato extract in the cottage cheese chips ?
Have you tried popcorn salt. . .super fine
If I'm not mistaken I believe the triple O flavorings stands for One on One.
I love you two! What if you rolled it through a pasta roller on a thin setting and then cut them into shape? :)
"I want that one" "HA!" You ladies make me laugh. There is nothing that compares to the crunch of a chip. These look like they would fit the bill! Can't wait to try them, Thank you for always conducting trial and error episodes so we learn from you!- Michelle
With the crunchy texture, could you use corn flavor extract to make tostadas?? Asking for a friend 😉🥰
Wonder if you used a tortilla press to get them thinner?
I think the tortilla press would make them thicker than we are making them
Love all your recipes I haven’t used nutritional yeast is there a certain brand to buy?? Help 😊
Anthony’s is good, it’s not necessary for the recipe but adds a savory component
Which chip is better? These or the cottage cheese ones you made a week or so ago?
They’re different, these are thinner I think
I will try this with the cottage cheese idea.
I am also wondering if the company has a corn flavoring - so I can try making Fritos :D
How about using a pasta roller machine - the manual one? Do you think that may be able to get it thin enough?
I think it would be too thick but it’s worth a try
I wonder if you could use lupin flour instead of the coconut flour to omit the taste of it altogether.
Your jellybean story reminded me of how I got sick on hotdogs when I was about 7 or 8. I didn’t eat another hotdog for over 30 years and the smell even made me sick! Smells can really bring on the memories. 😂

Thanks!
Oh my! Thank you so much for your generosity!
Wow! Those chips look like tortilla chips. If those were right here I would make nachos, meat and cheese with a little Greek yogurt on top. And don’t forget the Frank’s hot sauce for just a little kick. Love your videos keto twins!
Going to try this with using my pasta maker to see if I can get them thin. Will let you know.
Oh yes, the savory concentrates! I just want someone else to make them, and I can buy them, I just don't have that kind of time, well maybe on a weekend.
Thank you
I have everything but nutritional yeast. Can I still make this?
Yes! We just added it in ourselves but you can leave it out or add a bit more almond flour
I'm curious about the mashed potato extract in a cauliflower mash...... 🤔
I love popcorn jellybean
I can't use coconut flour. I am allergic. I wonder if using Victoria's VKF flour would work??
We haven’t tried it but it’s worth a shot!
Y'all need to check out "Pro Home Cook," Snacks! He makes a "Cheese Cracker" that is Keto! Looked really good too😋🤗 Thank you for sharing!
We will check it out!
Just asking, if the dough were a little for doughy and not so dry would it be possible to make them thinner?
cool. ya'll rock.
Looks good, guys--
I love it when she said I want that one and you said Ha! Then ate it. 😂😂😂
Yeah we were definitely surprised when we smelled them the first time 🥴😂
OOO flavorings are almost non existent here in Canada…to order on Amazon the US company sending the orders charge more for delivery than what you pay for the bottle. 🤨
Not available in the UK either despite coming up on Amazon search 😐
I’m going to try my salt and vinegar, which I hope is very fine. I have a giant bag that will live longer than me.
Too much trouble. lol😊😊
It’s not that bad 😂
I remember those awful jelly beans lol
They look like cornflakes. Maybe you could add sweetener instead of potato essence and break them into smaller pieces after frying and eat with whatever milk.
What oil do u use
Olive oil
@ketotwins thanks - thought so - wanted to b sure - thank you both!! Nice to know everyone has fails & sometimes a small tweek helps! Love ur humor & laid back, fun attitude! Do u have a link to get the potatoe flavoring?
Yay!
👍👍👍👍
they were jelly bellies
I can't remember the ladies name I watch but she used egg whites for chips.
I think 2 people did this recdntly: low carb love and loving it on keto.
❤️🥰❤️
Heyyy Judy!
😃
💗🥰❤️
🖖🖖
I accidentally made Fry bread the first time i made the coconut flour 'fries', we were ecstatic!
