I don’t believe no one watches the first video. I watched one then went back on u tube to find the rest. Decided to start from the start and here I am. Thank you for this. I’m enjoying you. Same age and can relate. Good job. First day watching. Needed break from gardening so sit down and watch you is great.
I retired and sell ice skating dresses on Ebay. I priced my dresses reasonably. $29 to $39 each with tons of crystals. I love the sport and I like to help kids to have a nice competition dress. I really enjoy that.
What a great little business! I am impressed…I can’t even sew on a button never mind a skating outfit. I guess I can say TH-cam is my business now except I make no money at it 😃
What a fun thing to make and those little girls must feel like princesses skating in them! Just my 2 cents… Many crafters add to their profit margin by selling “add ons”. In your case, it might be matching sparkly boot covers?…matching sparkly Hair bows or clips… matching sparkly skating gear bags… matching sparkly drawstring pouches for little what-nots in their skating gear bags… having their name or nickname (hand?) embroidered on the underside hem of their skirt? Think of all of Barbie’s accessories… Good Luck!! 💭💭💭
I can tell you right now. Your channel WILL get monetized very quickly. You have the looks, age and experience (of life) and this is what many are looking for. You’re doing great! Just put one foot in front of the other. You got this and you are a voice for many of us. I’m 55 and just subbed to your channel!
Thank you so much. I actually got the link to monetize the channel. I’m in awe. I thought it would take at least a year or more or that it might never happen. Now I just have to wait for them to approve me. Apparently that can take some time.
You’re so right. I just found her channel and instantly subscribed. It would be great to hear about investing from her experience. Most TH-cam channels are just out to sell us a product.
I just found your channel with another of your videos. There are NO ladies out here that have a channel like yours. I have seen hardworking and interesting channels that only have 10,000 viewers after two years, and you already have twenty thousand. You have a perfect clear delivery even from this very first video. You relate to your audience and speak at a good pace. You are also very organized with interesting topics for us retirees (I peeked. I have only watched 2 so far.) The best of luck to your channel! You have a new sub in me!
I’ve subscribed. I’m on my own and retired. Keeping busy but it’s not what I wanted. Haven’t watched the others yet so don’t know if you’ve covered accepting you’re going to be on your own forever or if you hope you may find another, how shall I put it companion? I would be interested in how you feel, your thought about cohabiting again in the future as that is something I would never do now, put my home and security at risk. But then I’m not ‘in love’ with anyone at the moment!!
Hello! Thank you for your videos. I am a 60 year old man who lives in Sweden. I've stopped working and intend to live on my savings until my retirement at 65. Very interesting things you bring up here. Keep up your nice job please.
Thanks, I like your videos a lot!:) You speak so normally, honestly, authentically. Would be great if you could give a few book recommendations for current novels or good women's literature in a video 😊.I am an enthusiastic reader and always grateful for book tips. Although I am German, I also read English books😉
Enjoyed this video. Your voice is calm and easy to listen to, and you come across as genuine and very down to earth. Glad to have come across your channel!
I am 62 and have been retired for 3 years. My husband of 26 years passed away almost 8 years ago and to say it's been a struggle is such an understatement. I find myself with no identity - no longer a wife, no longer a mom to children, no longer a teacher - all the things I always considered my reason for being here. So much well meaning advice out there - find a new relationship, travel, join support groups, take a class - blah blah blah. Been there, done that. Nothing seems very exciting so I find myself alone A LOT. Most of my friends and a lot of family just disappeared after my husband died and without work, it's next to impossible to meet people. I consider myself a fairly independent strong introvert so while I've always appreciated time to myself to recharge, it's a whole different ballgame when it's all day, every day. So I live in a form of existence at this point, which of course is no way to live. Thanks for creating a channel that gives a voice to our experiences.
Gosh what a sad story. I don’t really think anyone can totally tell you what to do and even suggestions are just really hard. I think part of it is that you just have to get through the journey and you eventually do get to the other side. It’s just that everybody has a different path and a different way that they get there. I found Ryan Holiday’s book “the obstacle is the way” really helped me, but more because the type of guidance he gives resonates with my personality type.
Your story is my story. I thought I was the only one that felt this way. My husband of 33 years passed away 14 years ago and since then, I have felt invisible. I have returned to a part time job to try and feel the void. I hope you find peace and joy on your new path!
I feel like that after a short of break up. We now live apart but see each other at weekends....it's very hard as I didn't want this. I still work and dread not working. My son and his family are all growing up fast.....I feel so lonely at times.@@connieslappey3762
I totally relate to you.. My husband passed 12 years ago.. I was 49 and had 3 children to get through college.. everyone is thriving and I’m “lost” not sure what now…
I am so sorry for you three ladies whose husbands have passed. I can’t even imagine. I found my second husband later in life, and even though he is not perfect, I try to treasure every day with him. I have felt the other things though. Trying to find my way as no longer a teacher or mother of young children. The invisibility towards older people. I try to find my joy in all the little things.
Great channel! Kudos for the courage to start it. Keep on and great success to you! I too love to track the beginnings of successful endeavours, so Im thrilled to be here at the very start 😊
Hello, subscribed last week after watching one of your most recent videos. I decided today to go back and watch your first video. Can’t wait to see more
Yay for you! I’ve excited to see this channel grow and learn whatever you are sharing. You’re right. It’s easy to feel invisible as we women age. FYI, you popped up on my feed this morning and I started with this video first. I usually do as it appeals to my sense of order😅
I’m 62, in Canada as well and retired at 55. My husband and I downsized our home and simplified, junked out well over half of our belongings (“stuff”). I can relate to your channel even though I have a husband. I’m very interested to see how your channel evolves, it already has a nice aesthetic, your home is beautiful.
I’m so happy to have come across your channel, and yes I think we all feel strange when we see ourselves on camera! Hoping I can learn from you and your channel as I hope to do the same as you in a year or two and completely leave nursing but do small, enjoyable things for an income & live small ❤️ and enjoy my life. And also…yes we do watch the 1st video!
No one watches the first video, until they stumble upon your channel and then go back to the beginning. I would love the learn about the monetizing aspect of TH-cam and love that you plan to share. Also, as you come from a financial background, I am very intimidated at the thought of investing and would love insight from you. I feel I have a good understanding of how the markets work, stocks, ETFs yet I play it safe all the time. When you talked about the excitemnet of buying an ETF my ears perked up. Love your calm manner and speaking style.
Best of luck! Stumbled across you and I can’t wait to watch more of you. I am in the same situation and still trying to figure this retirement thing out. Blessings to you!
This was such a good first video. I am 60 years old, living in Jamaica. I operate a decor business for 20+yrs to this date. Its not a hugh business, but it works for me, as I don't want to be working everyday...but I do most days😂. I started my TH-cam channel about 2 years ago, focused on decor and lifestyle. I am now looking to showcase this aspect of my life, where I want to slow down more. Nice to find persons in my age range.❤❤❤
Hi Raina, funny thing…my brother and I were talking about our upcoming retirement years last night and today your channel popped up on my feed. Coincidence maybe?! Either way glad I found you
Hello Raina. I am a retired woman living in US South Carolina. I am looking for a few ladies I have things in common with on TH-cam. It helps and is a blessing to find people as yourself. I am a widow and find it lonely and depressing at times. Thank you for your content. Look forward to seeing more of you in the future. 🥰🥰🥰
Hi Janet, I’m also a widow. I am retiring Dec 31, 2024 and that will be my last day of work! I am so glad I stumbled upon Raina’s channel. This is the channel that resonates best with me! She’s so practical and calm. I just love it!
Hi Raina. Your video "...laid off at 56..." came up on my stream. I clicked on it because I can relate being laid off at 53 in 2023. I too am a single woman finding myself through "retirement". I live in California USA and the job market has been tough. I look forward to watching all your videos and learning more about how you are coping through this new phase in your life. All the best to you and I hope your videos will start to monetize.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m glad you like the video an envious of anyone who lives in a place where the weather is nice and warm most of the year around! 😃
I totally relate to your channel! Everything you mention here resonates with me right down to investing rather than buying clothing. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for watching and thank you for your comment. I know a lot of people are curious about what kind of equipment people use. I just used what I had. That being said I had to go and buy an extra tripod lol.
You have a new follower, dear Raina! Wonderful video, just at the right time of my life. Since last wednesday, I know the date of my early retirement end in spring 2025. I m very excited and looking forward to this new phase of my life as a single solo woman (in Switzerland) but I am also totally afraid of what s coming (or not coming). Financial issues are one part, but actually the smaller one. A total new kind of life is waiting for me, everything is open and undefined and I just don‘t know how my new life will feel. So I‘m looking forward to your videos and reflections of early retirement life.
Aww, thank you so much. Doing videos is hard work! But since I am retired and I have time on my hands, this is an opportunity to learn something new. I’m enjoying the creative part of it and trying not to stress about the number of views and subscribers and so on…at this point anyways. For me, remembering to turn on my microphone while I’m filming is a bonus in life.
As a single female living in Canada, I am very happy to have stumbled upon your channel. I’m 50 and since i turned the corner into my 50’s i am more focused on my future/retirement. Your sound is good - there’s a tiny amount of echo - but it’s not distracting. Your camera is well placed and focused. Your points are clear and interesting. When i think about what my retirement will look like, I think of walking to the gym to train (I’m a power lifter), playing with animals either of my own or at a shelter, talking to strangers - which I do now and enjoy. I don’t know what else I’ll do with my time away from work. I do want to travel and the things I want to do in my retirement can be done in any country. I look forward to your future videos and sharing your adventures.
Oh my goodness thank you for watching. Welcome here. Ha ha, 50 just sounds so young to me now! Thank you for commenting on the sound. I’m really having a hard time with my sound. I have a very good microphone system, but sometimes it does not come across that well. I have now figured out that my editing software can actually improve the sound of my videos so I’m starting to use that and I’m hoping that will help. I used to do powerlifting as well up until two years ago. Now I kind of just do at home workouts and I walk and I run almost every day. When I was doing the powerlifting I got such a bad case of tendinitis in my elbow and it took almost a year to get rid of it. So now I’m like super scared to do it again. I mainly focus on dumbbells.
@@smallretiredlife thanks for the response. I’d love to know more about where you do your investing and any suggestions you have for places to do investing/coats. There is a lady with a channel from BC called Silver and Solo. She talks about retiring as a single person etc. How do you manage repairs to your home? I rent and though it seems like a waste of money, I have been here for 7 years now and rent has gone so high that I can’t move. I also don’t have money to put on a down payment for a home. I work from home. Are you able to claim some of your housing costs for work due to the TH-cam channel like I do with my business? I know you said your channel isn’t monetized yet but can you save up the start up costs to claim later? Thanks again for putting yourself out there and being open. It gives me hope. I’ve honestly been searching the world (via the internet) to figure out where I could afford to retire.
Also Canadian East Coast. But I went on CPP Disability many years ago and I have not found my"groove".So I'm listening. The only consistent thing I have is going to the gym 3 times a week.
Lovely meeting you here. I really enjoyed your your video clip. I will be 65 in 2 months. I have been semi retired for 15 years while that sounds great to many. I can tell you as a single chick it's not that great lately as I have been without a car for 8 months, while I have the use of a car 1 day I'm finding it hard to really do and go places I want to go on the bus. I look forward to seeing many more of your video clips good luck with it all from one single chick to another. Have an awesome day from Auckland nz
Hey, welcome here and thank you for your comment. I don’t think I could live without my car. Especially during our winters. I’m hoping to spend part of my winter in Australia this winter. I hate the cold.
I can’t believe you started this channel only a month ago and already have over 14,000 subscribers. I’m glad I’m one of them. It won’t take long at all to get your channel monetized. Can’t wait to watch more videos!
Dear Raina. Good for you! I love your channel. Please, you are not ‘solo’… you a multi-dimensional! Your voice is perfect! I am 75 now I have been an artist on and off for all my life. I now enjoy total ‘peace and quiet’ and do as I please. On TH-cam I have found wonderful artists I learn from! Everyday I learn. From artwhisperer88 on TH-cam I have fallen in love with a technique called Gelli plate printing. This does not require much space or money. As in most endeavors the more you practice the Better. Sending you good vibes. Denise in Raleigh. nC
Thank for your kind comment, Denise. Happy that you have a hobby that gives you so much pleasure. I know a few people that do Gelli plate printing and they have a lot of fun with it. It’s a super creative way to express yourself. I really like knitting and I do a lot of that in the winter usually.
I’m 52, starting my solo life at an empty nest, and planning my pre-retirement in 2/3 years. I’m enjoying everything u mention, your approach and the quiet tone. Congrats on your decision of challenging yourself out of boredom.
Hi, Raina! Congrats and great job on your first YT video. The algorithm presented me with your video dated 9/24/24 and I loved it. Now subscribed and plan to watch all your videos thus far. I love the calm atmosphere and your voice. I noticed with this first video that I can hear sound in both ears with my headphones, whereas the one from 9/24, I can only hear in one ear. I double checked my headphone settings and they're fine. Just thought I'd let you know since you mentioned you're learning about the technology still. I retired early and love it. Like you, I'm home 95% of the time and enjoy it.
I value hearing from other single retirees and this is you. I’m in the USA. It’s a crazy time here, and I welcome the break from it. I watched your home tour and enjoyed it. I’m halfway through a major renovation to turn a restaurant into a home, and the hard parts that are behind walls and under floors are done. After losing money to a general contractor, I’m doing as much as I can myself and also cash flowing the remainder of the project. I’m actually enjoying the challenges, but I’m taking a break from it right now. I already turned the outbuilding into an income property. I retired 6 months ago and this means more time for the project and my hobbies including riding my motorcycles to beautiful hiking and camping spots. I also volunteer, but I haven’t found my niche there yet. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
Thank you so much for the nice comment. So sorry to hear you had contractor issues. I was so lucky I had such a good contractor. He was amazing. He did everything on time and came within budget. I hope your renos well moving forward.
I just found your channel while researching retirement. I’m 57 and on the 5 year plan and really enjoyed your story. My next step will be some part time consulting as a transition. You give me inspiration to look forward to. thank you. 🙏
Part-time consulting is a great way to go. That’s why I took that one year contract. It basically eased me into retirement and gave me a little bit of a buffer.
Found you through "live simply/thrive fully" that was suggested to me by YT and now I'm watching all of your videos from the very start! This was a great first video, Raina🙋♀ 😍 and I'll be back for more! Greetings from Germany 👏
Great channel! I will be 67 fairly soon and at that point I will be able to retire. I will be a solo traveller in retirement, too. I'm looking forward to more vlogs! Good luck
So exciting for you. I admire anyone who travels solo! It’s challenging yet at the same time you can do whatever you want and see what you want to see …not having to compromise is kinda nice sometimes 😂.
No clue why you popped up on my feed. But I’m intrigued. I’d like to see how you grow your channel. Of course I’m in your age group. But I think the straightforward approach you’ve taken to this new endeavor is so interesting to me.
New subscriber! TH-cam suggested your "Laid Off" video, and I enjoyed it, so I watched a couple more. It's exciting to see a new TH-camr just starting out, so I'll be following along with interest!
Hi Raina, I just found your channel and so grateful! I’m 58, single parent of two young adults and I want to retire soon! I’m so happy to hear your message as I am on the same wavelength. Yes important to have something fun to do on the side. Follow your ❤ and thank you for sharing!
Hello Raina. Fellow Canadian here (Montreal). I am single and recently retired. I like your style and your outlook on retired life, so I am subscribing. Looking forward to your videos 😊
I am 54. I was laid off a year ago after over 20 years of service in the public sector. I have had a very similar experience that you have been through. I decided to retire and do all the the things I always wanted to do. So, I am enjoying life. I like your channel. Keep on doing because there are not many channels like yours. 😊
You can do this! Keep up the great work! I find myself at a point in life where retirement will happen sooner than I realize because life happens in the blink of an eye. I appreciate videos from others that are retired so I will be better prepared for the future. Definitely subscribing!
Hi Raina. Well done with this video. Starting is always the first hurdle but you did it! I finally decided to retire 5 days ago. It was a huge decision but, in the end, I decided to invest myself fully in this latter phase of my life. To look after my health and well-being and enjoy a gentler, more relaxed way of life. I too am thinking about starting a TH-cam channel but not quite yet. 5 days from a decision to retire is still a bit too soon to be clear on the details of my life going forward! But I’ll get there. I’ve subscribed because I’m interested in your journey and can hopefully learn from your experiences. All the best.
Congratulations on your retirement. I absolutely love being retired. It’s the best thing ever. But I agree after only five days. It’s best not to make any huge decisions rather just enjoy.
Congratulations and great job on your first episode! I'm looking forward to your content and seeing how you progress towards your goal. I'm approaching retirement as a single woman and this is perfect timing for me.
I’m watching your first video! Just found you today. I think you can monetize your channel after 10k subs, right? I’m so impressed and amazed to see that after only one month you have met your goal. Consider me one of your newest subscribers. Good luck- excited to be brought along on your journey.
Hi Rayna. I have been disabled and was married. I worked and saved. Now divorced and one son lives with me and his children 50%. I have made a few mistakes $ after my divorce. I am trying to find my values/path to care for myself and not taken advantage of by adult children. I look forward to doing more things for myself.
What a wonderful creative outlet! I always joke ti my husband that I’ll never retire as I do not relax well but I do think there’s something to always craving a challenge! So glad you’re doing this!
@@smallretiredlife OH! I watch Tim Childers, "Newly Retired Me",Male version of you lol. I thought he said you could apply to be monetized once you got 1000 views. I didn't realize you have to be invited!
Hi, I m 56 from South Korea and into investing in stocks, but I'm not good at it ^^. Still having more years of working. You're such a good speaker , so i decided to learn speaking English from your channel. Thank you for sharing your stories.
Oh thank you for that. That really means a lot to me because English is my third language. My first language is Czech, the second language I learned is French and finally English. I was very young though.
Just found your channel. New sub! I'm also newly retired and like your idea about keeping up with technology and doing EFTs/ investing. I'd love to see videos on both these topics. Like a friend showing a friend 'how to'.
Raina!!! I have had so little time for soc media lately that I was surprised to see your face pop up in my TH-cam. How nice to have a morning to watch several of your videos! I have admired your design style, knitting skills, and quiet little vignettes. I wouldn’t have known how much was going on behind the scenes of instagram the last few years. Hearing how you focused on moving forward with grace is very inspiring. ❤ I agree with you that a lot of viewers are in mine/ your demographic and want communication in a larger way- not just little niches. It seems you are amassing a following quickly and I love that you see the editing uploading as a fun part of the process. Thanks for a lovely morning:)
Oh my goodness it’s so lovely to see you here. Welcome to my channel. I absolutely adore going through your photos on Instagram. They make my day they’re so beautiful. I have to say I’m enjoying this platform and I do like creating through video even though it’s super hard! A complete new thing to learn. Do you remember the days when we all just blogged? 😂😂
You are totally amazing I’m so happy you’ve decided to do this your a natural, excited for your next video, I have a few videos up from before our move and I’m planning to start again I love it.
Thank you sooooo much for supporting my channel. I am going to check out yours. I have to say everything sounded great in my head but getting out verbally was a lot harder.😂
I hope your channel is a success. I like the young you tubers and watching the life of a 20 something but there is more to life than beauty and fashion and more ages than 25. You Tube needs content from people like you be ause there are a lot of us out there. Mosy of us wonder what we would donif we lost our job, our spouse, how we will live when retired.

Most definitely appeals to myself as well. 😊
I love the chill out vibe too ❤😊

You’re fine. People like you. I could see you being a friend of mine but I live on the east coast in the USA. So I’ll watch your videos!
Good luck.!
lol, love this comment 😀 thank you for watching!
Thank you for your comment. I’ll have to go and check out your channel!
Wow, You made a very good video for your first one, I am interested to see more.
Thank you again. I saw your other comment. I’m still shaking my head about all of this.
Enjoying your channel - thx for taking the plunge - I’m a fan
I too retired at 58. I am now 62. So happy to have found your channel, I am subscribed. Good luck with this new adventure!!!!!
I totally relate to your channel! Everything you mention here resonates with me right down to investing rather than buying clothing. Thank you for sharing!
Lets talk investing! This sounds interesting!
Wonderful first video
We are in the US and getting ready for retirement, you're not alone!!! Keep up the good work😊
Welcome here and thank you for watching! Honestly, retirement is fantastic!
Your channel has inspired me. I’m 57, semi retired, and have been wanting to get my channel going for a while. I’m going to go for it!!!
Absolutely. Do it!
Viewers do go back and watch from the beginning. I did! Love your content. I’m in the process of retiring and am also from Canada.
Thank you for creating this platform and helping others navigate through this phase. You are very relatable. Inspiring video.
Thank you for your inspirational videos. I really like your approach to self-improvement and always learning something new.
I turned 50 this year and live in the California. I am glad to find your channel. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for watching and may I say how jealous I am that you’re living in a place like California that has warm weather year-round!
This is great. It’s like virtual knitting club! Thank you and cheering your bravery.
…and I love to knit!
Hi Raina, you channel is great! It reaches me. I'm in😊 thank you🎉
Very nice calming content .So lovely to hear from you on how you started from the very beginning with equipment and such like .❤
Thank you for watching and thank you for your comment.
So excited for you! That is coming so fast!
I would have never guessed this was your first video. You seem like a natural!
Thank you!
Hi Raina, congratulations on your first video! It looks great and I look forward to hearing your story and your version of this great time in life!
Hi Raina, You're never bored. You hate your voice, but we love watching and listening to you and your calm voice.
😂😂thank you 🙏
I have to look for your very first video
Wish me luck😊@@smallretiredlife
As someone looking forward to retirement, I enjoyed watching this video. Thanks for sharing 😊.
Awww. Thank you. I absolutely LOVE being retired. Anyone who ever said it’s boring just does not have enough hobbies 😆
Also Canadian East Coast. But I went on CPP Disability many years ago and I have not found my"groove".So I'm listening. The only consistent thing I have is going to the gym 3 times a week.
I just turned 49 and I’m planning my retirement and have been actively working on the plan all year
That is awesome. You go girl! Be prepared is my motto.
Welcome to TH-cam Raina . I’m so glad I found your channel. Definitely subscribed .👍❤️
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it and thank you for taking the time out to leave a comment.
I felt so inspired by your story , same as you I was laid off at 56, i want to reinvent my life too, congrats on your new project!!!
I love your channel❤ Keep making videos!
So relatable, this is where I am!! Taking the time to learn is so important and giving yourself grace!! You are doing amazing with your videos 100 % 😊
You are inspiring me a lot. Thank you for sharing ❤
Well I watched your first video. Yay for you! 👍👍💕
Ugh, just having a hard time with audio. Hopefully I have found a fix.
Thank you 🙏
I went to watch your first video. Thank you for taking us along on your TH-cam journey. Best Wishes!!
I don't usually leave comments, but I just came across your channel and I really really love this! Thank you!
Thank you so much for watching 🙏 and also your comment. It’s humbling that people take the time to say something lovely to a new TH-camr 😊
Thank you for making this!🙏 I am 63 and living in Sweden. 🤗😀
Welcome!
Way to go Raina! Good stuff my fellow Canadian thanks for this great content! I subbed today!❤
Thank you 🙏
Great channel!
Thank you. I’m glad you like the videos. I hope they keep resonating.
I’m excited to find your channel. Thanks
Glad to be coming with you along you journey. Best Wishes. Vickie from Colorado, USA.
Thank you 🙏
Am 63 and I love your videos
It was about time some one
Did videos like this ❤
Congratulations on your first video. Already subscribed though I am far from retirement
Thank you!
Hi Raina, I just found your channel and so grateful! I’m 58, single parent of two young adults and I want to retire soon! I’m so happy to hear your message as I am on the same wavelength.
Yes important to have something fun to do on the side. Follow your ❤ and thank you for sharing!
Thank you for the kind note!
It’s going to be fun to watch the growth of your channel!
Hello Raina. Fellow Canadian here (Montreal). I am single and recently retired. I like your style and your outlook on retired life, so I am subscribing. Looking forward to your videos 😊
Thank you so much!
I am 54. I was laid off a year ago after over 20 years of service in the public sector. I have had a very similar experience that you have been through. I decided to retire and do all the the things I always wanted to do. So, I am enjoying life. I like your channel. Keep on doing because there are not many channels like yours. 😊
Thank you so much and thank you for your kind comment.
You can do this! Keep up the great work! I find myself at a point in life where retirement will happen sooner than I realize because life happens in the blink of an eye. I appreciate videos from others that are retired so I will be better prepared for the future. Definitely subscribing!
Thank you for the lovely comment and welcome here. Yes retirement seems to happen sooner than you expected sometimes.
Well i watched your first video and enjoyed it ❤
What a lovely beginning! You have a natural talent for this.
Onward! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much for the lovely comment. 🙏
Great first video!!! It's only been a month, and you already have 15K subscribers... Amazing !!!
I know…I don’t understand what happened! 😳
Awesome Raina. So brave & inspiring. Looking forward to seeing you grow in leaps & bounds 👏👏
Thanks Julie! Onward forward…now the hard part…making the next one.
Raina, Loving your channel. I am looking forward to seeing your future videos.
Good luck from Oklahoma, USA.
Thank you so much for supporting my channel. 🙏
Hi Raina I just came across your video 😊 I’m 63 from the West Midlands in England ..
Welcome here!
Congratulations and great job on your first episode! I'm looking forward to your content and seeing how you progress towards your goal. I'm approaching retirement as a single woman and this is perfect timing for me.
Oh my gosh thank you for commenting!
You are speaking my heart, 100% !!!!
KEEP ON KEEPIN ON YOUNG LADY!👍
I’m watching your first video! Just found you today. I think you can monetize your channel after 10k subs, right? I’m so impressed and amazed to see that after only one month you have met your goal. Consider me one of your newest subscribers. Good luck- excited to be brought along on your journey.
Love this , i am from northern Ireland and hope to see more of your lovely videos x
Thank you so much.🙏
I agree about niche channels. I think TH-cam forces that specializing. But I like your idea of a multipurpose channel. Go for it.
Great video! Thanks Raina : )
Thank you 🙏
Thank you for being my first comment ever! I sound like a dweeb! I need practice!
@@smallretiredlifeyou sound great! You’ll get more comfortable over time! I still hate speaking into the camera!
@@smallretiredlife you sound very nice and calm and I’m sure that is very appreciated by those who subscribe to your channel. 👍❤️
Just found you today. Looks like it didn't take you long to get monetized!! Good for you! I turned 50 this year.
lol no but I am not monetized right now. You have to be invited to apply and that has not happened yet.
Thanks for watching and I will think about a video that could cover that.
I agree with you that a lot of viewers are in mine/ your demographic and want communication in a larger way- not just little niches. It seems you are amassing a following quickly and I love that you see the editing uploading as a fun part of the process. Thanks for a lovely morning:)
Also I find that anything labeled “episode 1” or “my first” actually gets a lot of attention, at least in the crafting TH-cam world.
Yes, that was like a total fluke. I didn’t actually think about that. I’m kind of flying by the seat of my pants in this world.
Good start! ❤
6:51 A video on investing in Canada would be lovely. Basic things about this topic for someone who doesn't have any clue on how to start. ❤
Currently trying to put something together. It will take me a while because it is a big topic.
Just found your channel. Looking forward to more content. Subscribed.
Thank you and welcome here. I typically post on Tuesdays…unless life throws a curve ball😀!
Thanks for watching and your comment. The awesome thing about TH-cam is that it does provide like amazing variety. There’s something there for everyone.
