My BIGGEST garden transformation yet! - Part 2

- Welcome to the second part of this satisfying garden transformation. I am delighted to share this video with you! Between the front (Part 1) and the back (Part 2) it took a lot of time to get everything in order, particularly with all the runs to the local waste center. That said, I'm so pleased with the outcome and so are the home owners. Ultimately, they have their garden back.
This garden project (#5) was for a great cause and whilst I won't share the personal circumstances of the couple that lives here, let's just say they were beyond deserving of a helping hand. The perspective this channel continues to give me is invaluable.

You have no idea how overwhelming this video is! You make a grown woman cry! What a worker who cares! Thank you ❤️
Appreciate you, Anne! ❤
That is a bad overgrown backyard. You did a lovely job, clean and airy. Thank you
Sometimes life catches up on us - thank you for watching and commenting!
Terrific cleanup!!! More!!!
Perhaps a re-watch of older projects in the meantime? 😅 Thanks for watching!
Bravo! That was a great job you did! Those darned brambles are just the worst things to fight with, but you really did bring the fight to them! I’m sure the house owners were thrilled with having their backyard back again. ❤️🥂🇨🇦
Thank you for watching, I gave it my best!
You're a legend! The transformation is incredible. Keep up the amazing work ❤
Very kind words - thank you for the support ❤️
This is the first time watching this channel and you did a great job! The owner was so happy!
Thanks for being here!
You gave that lady back her out door space. Cheers from Ken in Alabama USA
Great to have you back, Ken!
They need to call you Edward Scissors hand. You work so hard. Great Job.
😂 thanks for watching!
Beautifully done❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!
Hey you made it to 1k! Congrats. ❤
Let's go! Thanks for the support ❤️
Hard work you've done a great job😊😊😊
Thank you for watching!
Great job, what a struggle. Now it needs a power wash. I would have removed all that ivy. Ivy is brambles without thorns and delicious berries. 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
The ivy does need to go but I need the okay from the neighbour as they weren't pleased with my request to move it in part one! Thank you for watching ❤
What a fantastic job and what
a nightmare of brambles and ivy. Well done for digging the roots out.
Thanks for watching - gotta get the roots!
Great job! Good to someone digging out the blackberries by the roots rather than just strimming everything for a quick result❤
Much appreciated!
No2..very nice!
Zounds! What a difference. That lady can now go outside and walk around. Very good job.😮
Thanks for watching and the kind words!
Top job once again 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Appreciated!
Unbelievable! 👌🏾👏🏾
Super kind, thank you!
Brambles and ivy would take over the world if you let them. You showed them who’s boss and it looks fabulous 🙌🙌🙌💯💯💯💚💚💚.
💪🏼❤️
👏👏👏 Excellent job ❤
Thanks for being here and watching!

Kind words, thank you for watching ❤️
You are a HERO❤
Kind words - thank you for watching!
Great transform! Sorry your broom broke but it didn't slow you down...no, sir. Can't wait to see more! (Charleston, SC, USA)
Thank you - the broom was found in the brambles and was very old so no dramas!
That looks fantastic!
Usable at least!
You did an amazing job on that garden, Well done 👏👏👏👍❤
I thank you for watching and commenting ❤
Good job❤❤❤
❤

Good job Edan! Great way to keep fit too.👍
Thank you! It sure is.
Felicidades!! ❤Haz hecho un excelente trabajo, impresionante, increíble!!!!! ❤❤❤
Gracias por las amables palabras!
Wow
Great transformation
What a great gift
Maybe a part 3? (Pressure wash fence and patio)
Plus the rest of the ivy ?
Thanks for watching! A few projects I've done have resulted in longer term work for the addresses so I will certainly post a follow up in due course.
great work mate - what a guy
@@breza1515 thank you, sir ❤️
Brambles seem to spawn like the characters in my son's video game, not gonna lie.
Hopefully I've gotten most of the root out! Thanks for watching
Job well done ❤🇬🇧
Much appreciated!
Great job, all that it needs is someone to pressure wash it.👍👏
Agreed! Thank you for watching
WOW!!!!
🥰
Fantastic job, well done
Much appreciated!
Well done ❤
Thank you ❤️
What a great result. Well that’s 3 tools down - hopefully no more in the future. You did well just using secateurs and shears on the brambles. Could you have also used your hedge cutter or were the brambles too thick? Just thinking of saving you time. Looking forward to the next project. I bet there are a lot of houses with similar sized gardens needing your help.
Good shout - there's a local project I've got my eyes on which is worse than the front and the back of this project combined, so I'll give it a go! Thanks for watching as always.
Great job❤
Thank you!
Brilliant job well done ❤❤❤
Thank you very much!
Great job
Thank you for being here!
Nice job!
Thank you!
Such remarkable hard work, I’m so impressed! I really appreciate that you also took care of the trash and left it so nice and tidy. If it’s possible it would be great if the video is a bitt slower, it’s a bit hard to watch when it’s to fast.
Consider your feedback heard and thank you for it - I'll play around with slowing the pace down and cutting in and out of the scene to show progression! Thank you for watching as always! ❤
Wonderful Aden! Are you going to be involved in the planting of new plants? Yes, I am a new subscriber.
I'd love that to be the next step of the channel! I need a bit more of a following to hopefully pay off what I spend on plants. With that in mind, thank you very much for watching and subscribing!
Take fence panel down to have access to that lot!! Wow brambles to contend with..is a daunting task... you are doing a marvelous job! Brilliant 👏
I'm always fascinated with these back gardens... square boxes
@@danajhasalvegas5819 thank you for watching!
I would make sure to tell the people living in the house that if they dont completely remove the brambles and ivy that it will quickly grow back and for them not to plant anything in the long back flowerbed as new shoots of brambles and ivy will be appearing within a couple of weeks. Yes I detest brambles and ivy!
I'm going back to do longer-term maintenance on the house - fear not! Haha you and me both.
😊❤😊
❤
It would be really spectacular if you pressure washed it as well.
@@Graham-zw8ye hopefully I’ll be able to get one in the near future - thanks for watching
Well done. Are blackberries a huge problem throughout the UK or just in certain areas? We get them here in Australia (introduced weed) usually in colder areas but not to the extent I've seen in the UK.
They're super common across the whole UK - they're also commonly used for hedgerows here for farmland which doesn't help residential areas. Whereabouts in Australia are you? I assume it was us who introduced them there (sorry).
@@GardensofEdan Im in Victoria we have had a few problems in this state years ago but most have been eradicated here, Tasmania seems to have the most problems. They are banned to grow completely in South Australia. The heat helps with keeping numbers down
good work that wasn't easy all those brambles etc ,reach out to flawless cleaning services they do the same as you maybe helping each other out 😘
They're set up is far superior to mine but hopefully I'll get more equipment as time goes on - thanks for watching
What a horrible mess! Brambles and ivy should be banned as obnoxious weeds! Shame you haven't a battery or gas powered clipping tool and have to do it manually. My concern is if the total ivy and brambles including roots are not removed or killed it will be right back to the same mess as these two plants seem to be prolific growers! I feel for you!
It's definitely a long term battle! Thanks for watching.
? As a gardener or landscaper... do you spray a herbicide on brambles as a general rule? They become such a nuisance to deal with, propagation and regrowth from root stock
@@danajhasalvegas5819 hello! A good question - my understanding is herbicides impact the surrounding flora negatively. I’ve agreed to come back to this plot to keep them at bay and I’ve done my best to dig all the roots back and was quite thorough. It’s a long term game!
That was ridiculous!
It certainly had an air of bramble to it
Why don't you get yourself some power tools? Will make your job lot easier.
@@beverlyashley3848 Hi 👋 I do this work for free and power tools are expensive unfortunately - I’ll be upgrading as time goes on where I can
Just saw your comment on SBMowing site and came to give your site a look. So glad I did! Great work! New subscriber from north Texas. 👍
That's incredibly kind, thank you so much for subscribing
Great job 👏!!!
I would have taken the ivy out as well…
Well done without any fancy tools!! 🫶
It was a little difficult as the fence was rotten but I hear you - thank you for watching!
@@GardensofEdan I know… it’s always easy to watch and give advice without being there. No offence meant! You’ve done a great job 👍👍👍❣️
