Bradford pear trees are beautiful, especially when they are in bloom. However, they are a lightening magnet as well. The guys did a wonderful job removing them 👏
This was fascinating to watch! These guys are true professionals in their line of work. I'll be anxious to see your new landscaping in your front yard! It looks like you live in a beautiful neighborhood!😮
We enjoyed watching the tree removals. You are so right about Bradford splitting down the middle. We live in South mississipi and saw that very thing happen during a storm. You were smart to remove them. Great video.😊
Greetings, Grayson. Praying that your home and your community were not ravaged by Mother Nature's recent uprising. A side note about tree removal, I like to save two to three foot high cut tree stumps as a pedestals for flower pots. I have several of varying heights. They are an additional feature of nature's GARDEN ART and serve a good purpose. Keep well and safe.
You must be amazed at the amount of light and in particular sunlight that can flood into your house now. It makes such a difference to the "feel" inside a house when you get rid of big trees
Wow, that Crew did an amazing job removing those trees. You will appreciate the sunlight you will now get, Grayson. I had a Bradford Pear Tree in the center of my front yard that split during a storm. Not the best trees to have near homes. Enjoy the weekend.
That looks nice, I had 5 trees taken out and 24 heavily trimmed 2 weeks ago, and it does make a big difference. I'm looking forward to the yard makeover.
What teamwork from the crew, they dd an amazing job! I was impressed with the chipper! I had a Drake Elm removed from my front yard which gave me more sun. I had the stump ground (not sure that's the right term) but I wish I had it pulled out because I'm forever fighting suckers. It must be nice to see your lovely home again...more planting beds coming up!
Bradford pear trees have been a favorite ornamental tree in many developments, to the horror and dismay of many. I toured a waterfront home for sale several years ago, only to find the lane lined with dozens of these trees. No thanks!
I was wondering how you made it through the storm. Is there any use at all for the leftovers of this job? Creative coffee tables or sawdust for compost? This not only opens up your yard but your neighborhood. Are they going to grind out those stumps? We are excited to see what you do now.
It appears the smaller remaining trees were affected by the large trees and therefore don't have an even crown. Stems lean to one side. Branches grew on one side especially the single tree on the left. Will they recover? Is there a pruning method that can make them decent-looking?
My mother planted 4 Bradford pears along our driveway right before she died. The needle gone but after ten years I still can’t to bring myself to cut them down.
It will be hard because of the connection with your Mum but better to get them out now rather than when they become a big problem, which they will. Maybe plant something else to remember Mum by ?
I cannot believe that these guys did not have any eye protection and were smoking while cutting up the tree. An accident waiting to happen. They were very lucky.
I don’t agree about the Bradford Pear Tree. I had 3 in my yard and I would cut them way back every couple of years and not allow them to grow more than 10 feet. They don’t split and are beautiful in the Spring. Old lady👵🏻
It always baffles me to see how people don't understand the many consequences (ex. heavy cleaning, expensive trimming, the danger of falling, blockage of house view ...) of planting fast growing trees or buying houses with such trees and end up paying several thousands of dollars to remove each! Let trees grow happily in parks, forests, and other green areas and avoid them at all costs anywhere in an average house.

They did an outstanding job. I thought they worked well together too

Enjoyed watching that. Great team work. 👌☺️🏴
Thank you. A great crew, indeed
The crew did amazing job. I enjoyed watching them. Your house, which is beautiful, breathes again and is safe.
It looks beautiful… and thank you for not recording the loud sound of the machines going on 👍🏼💯
Yes, Sharon. It was loud.
I love watching people who know their craft.

@Susanne-v7w Thank you, Susanne
They made that look so easy.
Yes, they did. I thought the same thing
I live in NC……same problem with those trees. Pretty when in bloom..had to have mine cut down…those guys did great job.
Yes, problematic Trees
Looks great!! 💯👍👍

❤❤❤❤❤very professional.
They did a great job
I prune mine every other year and never a problem.
👍
Great work, but where was the protective equipment for the chap using the chainsaw 😮
With hurricane season in the future, now is a good time.
I have one in my backyard it’s huge. The surface roots and suckers are my biggest issue. It will be coming down soon.

My neighborhood made it through the storm, safely. Thank you. The wood was ground up and i will be using the chips from the stumps in some of my beds.

They were affected and grew towards sunlight. they will correct and straighten out.
Yay! for the stinking tree for getting cut down. I don't know why they would put those in any neighborhood.
My mother planted 4 Bradford pears along our driveway right before she died. The needle gone but after ten years I still can’t to bring myself to cut them down.
Yes, i understand. It would be hard to remove them. The sentimental value
They are invasive.

Thanks so much. I appreciate it
I guess you next step is to get the stumps ground down. Probably cheeper if you rent the stumps grinder. Not to cheep to pay to have it done.
yes, the stumps have been ground. i didn't film it. thanks for the comment
How much did that cost?
Thanks for the comment. I can't remember
Whats gonna be your designs on your Front Yard? Lots of Perrenial or Annual Plants???? Gonna be a DIY Curb Appeal?
I'm not sure yet. Stayed tuned. Thanks for your comment
@GardeningWithGrayson No Problem!
Don’t you have another Bradford pear in your backyard at the last clip?
no. just the 2 in the front yard
How sad I wished I could’ve had them in my yard very sad to cut down the tree
Wood chippers scare the s*** out of me; always afraid someone’s arm may get pulled in no matter how experienced.
For sure

So I read this as " remodeling 2 massive trees" 😅😅😅
Lol. 🤣🤣🤣 That's Funny
ground crew have no safety helmets and eye protection on.
@johnshort7571 Thanks for your comment
OK Bradford pears are just about the only tree I'd remove. None the less I just can't watch.
You call that massive?😂
@jennifermarcum2231 Thanks for your comment. It's massive to me. I guess it's all relevant to your area.😀
