Awesome! ❤ Meanwhile, I'm here trying to guess the songs playing in the background 😂😂😂 Now you made me want to do mine! My van has had a vibration (while at a stop in drive) that is so irritating, I shift to neutral at stoplights. I had the engine mounts done 10 years ago, but it didn't seem to make much difference. Maybe they didn't change them? I know that vibration isn't really a symptom of old engine mounts, and that engine movement (up and down is). Don't you feel good now? The dopamine rush from fixing our cars is real! You're like me thanking God/Jesus all the way through! Thanks for making this video and sharing your knowledge.
Thank you for your kind and encourging words. I suspect after 10 years, you need new engine mounts. As you know these engines with their 4 mounting positions and the torque from the engine really makes the engine rock back and forth when the mounts get weak... a lot! And yes I do feel SO good getting it done and working with my hands. Such a gift to be able to do these things. I am so glad to hear that you know the Lord 🙏♥ AMEN sister!
@@sstressfl Yes indeed! Praise God, I was saved 24 years ago. So glad that you are too! I think it's getting harder and harder to crawl under and out from under the vehicles at my age (almost 60- where did the time go?), but I still like giving it a go.
@Vineyardedge so completely amazing. 2003 for me 🙏 and yes it is def getting harder to go under vehicles these days 😀 I move a little slower but just like you the result (and the saved money) fills me with gratitude 🤗
OMGosh!!! Dude!!! I did the rocker arm job on my daughter's 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan using your rocker arm video. (Thank you, BTW). Now I have engine mounts "coming due" ??!?!!? What is up with Chrysler? Are they purposely making their mini-vans last only 150k miles! When we had kids we loved our three Dodge mini-vans (1990, 1996, 2002)--they are so kid friendly. But now, I gotta get my daughter to sell hers ASAP!
That’s insane! (And thank you for the feedback 🙏) guess at least we can say that their parts are made with consistent manufacturing quality 😂 uhhhhg!! Our family adores this minivan and we’ve made a lot of memories with it. They dread the day it rusts out and we have to trade it. But I don’t! lol
Thank you very much I will do mine, after watching this. but you know what I wanted to do is just the Rack and pinion leak (Transfer line leak on the same mini van, if you can do that will awsome.
I did it over a period of 2 weeks. 4 different days. The first two took about 2 hours. The camera work makes it last longer. The passenger side was fast. An hour. And the last one in the rear took the longest with setup time and learning as I went… a good 5 hours spread over a weekend. But then again I’m never in a race. Speed has never been a priority. I clean. I fix other things along the way. Rust slows the process down too. Broken bolts are fun 🤩 I’ve worked with mechanic who go fast. I know why they do it, but they aren’t doing top quality work either. When it’s my car, I take my time and do good work.
You're the man.. Matter of fact, a Caravan man! Great job and video Mike!!
Ha!! Thank you 🙏
Nice work and thanks for the video
Thank you 🙏

Hwy thank you 🙏 Fixed 👍
Looks like the transmission cooler lines are leaking.
The cooler lines where I installed my trans cooler were indeed leaking 👍 I tightened up the clamps and all good.

How many hours did it take you to do the job total you think?

Anti-seize or Lock-Tight... ? what's the decision point there ? Whew... I'm tired just watching.
Antiseize for excessively rusted bolts. Loctite for anything that had factory loctite. It was a lot of work for sure especially the rear!
