For the painting, I think a combination of both the high-speed and the regular in-detail. I like seeing the whole process in time-lapse, but also like having things explained.
Also, you TOTALLY nailed Matt. The fake beards were hilarious.

That was such a perfect reenactment. At first I was like "well everyone's there but Lizzy" and then BOOM, there's Lil' Lizzy!
And she took a nap, too. Classic Lizzy.
Then there is the tie back to one of Matt’s earlier videos at the playground when Uncle Matt described holding younger Lizzy as a ten pound sack of flour. Unspoken but still well communicated as Robby held ‘young Lizzy’ on his arm. Obviously much talent in so many ways at Robby’s shop.
That was priceless!!!!!! When Matt walked in, his shocked surprise was hilarious!

The trial run of the Banana with everyone dressed as Matt's crew was pretty funny and very creative.
I came to this channel via Matt's Off-Road Recovery a couple of months ago. This is now one of my favorite channels along with Matt's Channel and Fab Rats. Never thought that former Demolition Derby drivers would be so talented and entertaining. Great bunch of guys!
The "first recovery" was priceless! When the real Lizzy goes on to bigger and better things, "Little Lizzy" will be ready to take her place.

This was a really entertaining episode for sure! The recovery re-enactment was spot-on! I got a feeling we are in for a whole lot of fun from the trio of Robbie, Matt, and Paul in the future.
This was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. I needed this right now having a bad time. Laughter always helps me get thru it. And how adorable was little Lizzy. That beard on Robbie was perfect. Awesome video thanks for putting it up.

I enjoy seeing the 'real time' speed when you're describing a particular technique, but the sped up footage is great for just seeing the project come together. I haven't been watching you a really long time but it seems like a good balance of both.

In the beginning....I wasn't too sure about Robby. I originally subscribed for the Banana, but after this one, after the GN, I will stay a fan.

This was one of the best videos I’ve seen all year. 😂 I love the work you do. The precision, detail, perfection. I’ve watched a lot of videos of other TH-camrs building- when it comes to painting, or filming, I’ve always preferred the real time cuts. If no one else is around, then yeah! A time lapse stand is fine. Don’t be scared of doing some zoom out slow mo’s too.
I want your channel to grow! People are missing out on this.

Made us break up laughing! OMG, you guys nailed the "recovery". We were rolling! As always attention to the details were killing us. Dinner was awesome as Trevor! "Lizzy's" weather report was adorable. and yes, the phone was the clincher. Well, that and the gas! You bring some serious humor to our lives. Our kid had this come up on her feed, so she watched it. Lightened her load before having to take a test in organic chemistry. She loved it!!!

Best parody ever and the Banana project is incredible. My husband owned a paint and body shop so I helped by scavenging used parts and writing estimates. I can appreciate how much love and hard work went into this project! Great job Layton Nation!!
That was a fantastic video. The mock recovery at the end with little Lizzie was just flat out adorable, and the Matt costume was damn near uncanny. The Banana looks beautiful, all said and done. Really nice workmanship on the repair. Not a lot of people would put so much time and effort into the little details on a work vehicle that's used almost exclusively as a tool, that's rode hard and put away wet. Really really great content. Oh and the time lapse in the paint booth totally works. Saves you some effort, and allow us to see the process without taking up too much time from the rest of the commentary. Great stuff as always, thanks for bringing us all along. Looking forward to seeing the Nugget hit the shop now!
