I think OnePlus will be easily beaten but in some photos i preferred OnePlus. This review change my opinion about OnePlus now I am considering it because it is not lacking behind Vivo X100 pro.

Have you used a OnePlus or Samsung before? Their overall OS is fluid and rich of features. How's vivio compared for software n overall phone. Pls give a detailed analysis from your usage ans suggest me a phone to buy. I'm just getting headache digging into stuff forndats. I want camera but with a good Android experience. Waiting a reply 😊
@@Babun13 I've used OnePlus 7 pro for past 4 years funtouch os is quick and snappy I have to say it's very much customisable...but the animations could have been better.....I would say funtouch os is very close to old oxygen OS very clean , minimal have all the essentials...yes it lacks some features but it's not deal breaking in my opinion you will easily get used to funtouch...but the elephant in the room is bloatware it have 5 to 7 apps which you can't uninstall that's the only annoying thing otherwise it's a pretty clean UI.... another thing every brand changing their UI so there is a high chance vivo might bring up their orgin os which is very similar to colour os...so I have no issues releated to UI thing
@@Babun13 another annoying thing funtouch os doesn't support LHDC codec...i have OnePlus buds 2 pro...so that's a major problem for me...hope vivo fix it soon

It's the best camera and speedy... However it does get got and battery life isn't fantastic. Lucky it charges up lightning quick

Amazing comparsion bro. Nice to see someone going into real depth with the OP12 cameras, rather than merely suggesting it's good but not as good as the s24 ultra like some lazy reviewers have been saying. I would love to own an x100 pro tbh but the price difference for international models is just too stark to make the vivo worth it. The oneplus 12 while clearly not quite as strong as the x100 pro in a few camera scenarios is just too good a value proposition to pass up at this point, it seems like the best flagship there is out there consdiering the whole package and price to performance ratio.

Seems you don't undesrtand my comment. I said the best based on price to performance ratio. I'm not talking about the best where money is no object. I'm only talking about when you consider the what is being offered for the price. The Oppo find X7 is poor value next to the oneplus 12. With the oppo x7 ultra you are paying upwards of $300+ more for what is esentially an almost identical phone with indentical components except the Oppo has an extra periscope zoom lens, a smaller battery and worse cooling. So the price to performance ratio is poor. @@blacsheep19

Zeiss has much better colors than hasslebladt but many of the OnePlus 12 photos look better

Oppo is very bad at battery . See Technick's latest battery drain test mate .
The choice of LTY-808 with 2x2 OCL is a bit of a bummer with OnePlus 12. 3 MP practical resolution at 2x is still acceptable but this also means zooming close to but not reaching 3x gives unusably low resolution.

Yes obviously Vivo X series do tend to last for more than 5 years . One of my friend has Vivo X50 pro and she has been using that mobile for 4 years now without any issues . Ma'am you can go for it .

fun fact, the telephoto sensor on both the phones might be the same, they are both half inch and might both be OV64B, just that Vivo uses 50 MP of it. Not sure though, just a random thing GSMarena found.
Anyways, kudos to Oneplus for not being a cameraphone and sticking THIS close to the Vivo X100 Pro throughout the battle. BBK's companies have made huge strides and as time went on, I'd say they've overtaken other companies in value, performance and capabilities. Samsung's AI features are going to be paywalled in a year or two anyways.
very possible that they are using same optics, its really shows what good optics, wider aperture and incredible processing can make out from the same sensor
@@wearefromserbia9714 yup, Vivo's V1 chip was mocked for "only making photos bright". It was just the start and now their V3 chip shows that improvement surely can be done on phones, by spanking all other phone cameras 90% of the time lmao

I tried it out... the difference is minimal but there are a lot of options to play around with... way more than most Pro modes

It's a stylistic mode... For a massive boost to contrast without making it look absurdly tacky or over saturated and although I don't recommend it for regular use... In certain cases it can look exceptional in certain senarios

Vivo front cam max dept is just 2.0 compared to 1.6 in OnePlus.. deeper blur is visible on PnePlus

Night shots... The sky is always blue... Vivo has better realtime extreme night vision which brings out the blue sky... I prefer vivo by far

Mediateck and qualcomm both are good can last long upto 3 years and especially vivo has best camera you can go with vivo

The oneplus 12 has a smaller sensor (Sony LYT-808 sensor) 1/1.43", compared to the IMX989 1" that VIVO has, so it is logical that it does not do so well in night photography.
It would be a little closer (in terms of noise) if it had the Sony LYT-T808, which the oneplus open has, or even better if it had the Sony LYT-900 0.98" which the oppo find X7 pro also has.

Personally I think the X100 Pro is better with way more features in the camera alone... but the OnePlus 12 gives us all the basics for a much lower price.
