Wait a min!? I also have been playing this amp on ToneX. This is yours? It’s one of the best sounds I’ve heard, ever. Full, rich, powerful. Everyone is asking what IR you’re using on the TwoNotes and I can see why. It’s amazing. Thank you for allowing us all to play this amp!

Crazy I spent the afternoon playing your matchless without knowing that was yours😂 Recorded an add for a car manufacturer already with ToneX, thinking about using your matchless for a video game project 😅 ToneX replaced the kempers in my studio in just one month… crazy. I believe IK Multimedia is working on a pedal version for live situations. That would be perfect for a lot of players!
Totally agree, I can't tell the difference. The Tonex sounds fantastic! I just downloaded this plug today and can't wait to get into it! Thanks for the run through on how to hook it all up.

Thanks.. Been waiting on this video... ToneX is amazing and the capture you did was awesome!! I was shocked at how well it took pedals though, since I never even considered doing that so far. The thing I think most people need to realize is that the IK Multimedia profiles aren't nearly as good as the ones people are uploading to ToneNet... Again.. Bravo! Great video!
Agreed. Got rid of my qc and kemper. You can use the drop down eq (top left) to change the q and freq of the bass mid and treble to more closely reflect your amp.
Wow, turning on the sound while it is capturing it ,Hearing what the Tonex software is doing with it, very interesting. It was reading a Whole signal, not just a small piece. This Matchless Capture is most Awesome.

Thank Paul this is extremely useful for the Tone X one. Question, be interesting to see how the Tone X one pedal would go with the Katana Artist. Love to see a video on it and what the Matchless sounds like through the Katana Artist Send or modeller input? Thx 😆😆
These Tonex presets sound great. I just spent some time trying to copy some of the best presets with my line 6 HX stomp. I used my most expressive pickups (H bomb silvertron style with magic treble and mids). Frankly I got the same results… BUT I had to add some EQ and compression here and there and choose the right stock cab. I did those clones with my studio flat monitors and my studio flat headphones, they are really almost identical, just a very tiny winy EQ difference, but same quality, same greatness expressiveness and all. So yes, Tonex is a great product, but I don’t think it is above what you can already get with other top modelers.

This sounds freaking awesome. It took me a while to match your gain level with my USA Tele. I had to increase the Gain in Tonex to max level, unity gain on my interface. Did you do some post processing before putting this video on TH-cam? Great channel by the way!!

I see that you used "complex rig" for your capture, whereas I used for my "amp" since was the amp head directly to a Tonex capture device with the power output from amp to the Tonex capture device going into my LB-2 loadbox. I'm not sure what you did with the torpedo, so could you please provide more details? Thank you in advance! Cheers Neves

Thank you for the vid! Question and it might be kind of obvious but I just wanted to check: I have a captor as well but it’s just the captor 8 so it doesn’t have the option to add IR’s directly on the hardware like the captor x or studio. If I want to capture with an IR baked into the capture, would I just open up an IR loader like wall of sound on the track that I created in my DAW that’s the return from the captor (where the mic would be in the chain). Or would it just be better to capture w/o IR and add it after the capture? Thanks again!

@@HandWiredAmps oh, I see! it's not at all Boss Tone Exchange. Thanks much!!!
Thanks for this great stuff. The thing that I would like to see is how a cheap (Squier type) guitar for example would sound through the profile compared to a nice one - it would be interesting to see. I have 15 guitars ranging from some vintage ones to some really cheap stuff so I would love to see how it copes - sorry to be a pain but for me this would be good prior to buying the Tonex. Cheers
The capture sounds thinner but close.
@@Sorbzski99 One what? Just because you cant hear the difference.
So if I borrow my mates $20,000 Mesa and Fender amp collection - how long do I need it for :D ?
IF you have a decent cpu WITH an nvidia gpu? You can capture in 10-25 minutes(forever without). Of course, you'll want a handful of different settings captured per amp. That's how long. Its worth it.
Matchless tone models arquivo? Ir
Well... Still not the same, as original amp... There is heareble difference in sound. Not much, But.... Those tiny nuances, that make it more rich and pleasant.
Why are you permanent shaking your guitar while playing? o.0
