My friend who was vegan for just over 5 years has started to eat eggs and fish after collapsing. Consultant told her her vegan diet was killing her. She has more energy now and has no more skin issues .
This is great if you're 20.....maybe even if you're 50......but older, we may be smarter and stronger mentally and physically, but we are aging with every passing day...... my grandmother lived to 105 and that, or better, is MY personal goal. She ate well, never missed a meal, and, I believe her secret, always had a postivie mindset. When she passed, she didn't look a day over 75, never had to use a walker, and outlived 5 doctors.......every prescription they gave her, she tossed in the trash.
You know, I am petite, but I have worked every single day for the past 20 years to keep myself in the best possible shape. It doesn't just happen. As I get older (as is the case for everyone), it gets harder, so I have had to up my game through nutrition, meditation, and diet (and other lifestyle changes). Correct amount of protein necessary. Use anti inflammatory protein sources. Plant based is best. Fiber is a nutrient found in complex carbs. Whole intact foods release short chain fatty acids to help repair the gut lining, regulate appetite, etc. No added or refined sugar. The natural sugars in fruit is fine. Dates are allowed. Sleep is very important so avoid sleep debt. Leptin disturbed and body craves high processed food. Watch circadian rhythms. Start early in the day to set healthy circadian rhythm. Fasting doesn’t have to be extreme. 12 to 16 hour fast with breaking it earlier in the day. One weekly 24 hour fast is helpful. Resistance training is age proofing for your whole person! Be a super ager! Maintain strong and powerful muscles to avoid lose of muscle mass and bone density. Multi modal training using various exercises. Approach safely. Stress management. Learn how to manage bad stress. Body pumping out adrenaline and cortisol creating visceral or belly fat is a result of stress. Shift your emotional state to get out of overwhelm into calm and resourcefulness. Finally, mind set shift. Focus on the woman you want to be…a super ager. Focus on who you want to be in 20 years! Start to create a connection with that person! Focus on age proofing myself not just losing weight because I will be full of gratitude, energy, love. Etc. Supplements like ozempic will rob your body of its health and regulation. Berberin studies show there really isn’t the evidence for efficacy.

That didn't work for me. I'm 64 eating much more protein via animal sources. Best results ever. Wish I'd known before. Tried the more plants, low fat. Didn't work for me. Won't subscribe to this. My experience has been completely different.
Chicken, Tuna, Sea Bass, if organic, is very healthy with side vegetables I think we should always have choice as some people are very healthy with the above diet and do not want to become vegetarian

Oh gosh! I’m so depressed to hear 6 months. That’s too long. I know we live in an instant gratification society but I need a thin belly by the next month in a half. I’m not that big but just a slight roll of about 6 inches right above my pelvic area that won’t go away. I’ve cut calories to under 500 a day and I have certainly lost weight but that little roll looks worse than ever now. It’s weird. Please! I just want it gone now. I guess I’m gonna have to look into liposuction. 😂

It would be best if you did much more. Fasting alone won't cut it. It would be best if you changed your diet and your overall lifestyle.

Check out your hormone levels. Post menopausal issue…mid weight and unbalanced hormones.
You're not eating enough calories, so your body is hanging onto that fat as a survival mechanism.
Always heard whey protein was the best for women - such conflicting information!
