This guy is the best … love what he said at the end… “maintenance and decontamination are often overlooked… and these two factors are crucial in the lifespan of a ceramic coating without the need for toppers”. Feel like that is how it should be if you get a proper coating.. and that’s what I want to hear after coating two of my cars in Synchro evo. Very different to all these other detailers saying you MUST use toppers to reach the coating lifespan. He is the reason I bought the whole suite of Gyeon products.
Hi Yves, I'm glad you're back, now I enjoy watching your videos again. There isn't a video made by you that I don't learn something new, the interesting part is that 99% of the videos you post perfectly match the exact information I need at the right time. I mean you are a mind reader. I strongly support and believe that gyeon has amazing products far above any other products on the market and more people should hear about gyeon . It's a pity that the detailers in the world the vast majority advertise for the money on certain products and I'm sorry that they don't tell the truth about the best brand of products I mean gyeon I tested all gyeon products and I'm totally satisfied with all of them especially the cancoat evo is a product wonderful with perfect results so easy to apply and so long lasting. I wish you the best of luck and look forward to your new videos. Regards from Germany. Keep it going.
Good tip with using iron remover. Ive got some of the performance of the coatig back after I thought it started disappearing after just 1 year 😵 bottom of doors after all the winter salt, grit etc.
I use Can coat Evo as stand alone ceramic coating and top up with cure..Also i thing 2 spays at time is enough as the excess may be make spots if not dry properly
Couldn’t agree more about spraying the product onto the cloth, way to often I see people spraying their product as if it’s Fly Spray and often using to much product.
Great useful video as I'll need to top up my Gyeon MOHS/Skin coating this summer. I thought you had to wait a minimum of 12 hours before CanCoat Evo should get wet? I bought a large Gazebo last year to totally cover the car and protect it from rain as it won't fit in my garage.
If I have a freshly ceramic coated car, for example its been coated in the last few days, and I get bug guts from the highway, should I attempt to remove them? Will they hurt the coating? A quick rinseless wipe down is safe?
I applied Cancoat to my Land Rover Discovery in August 2022 and feel it could do with a top up. My question is this: after a thorough decon and wash, should I - or could I - use Primer to restore the shininess?
No, first you should do a good decontamination of your paintwork. Then apply Q²Wax and maintain it. You can use Q²M CeramicDetailer as your final touch when drying your car and Q²M Bath+ but Q²M Bath would be my choice for the first 2 months after your wax application. Regards, Y.

Great video very easy to understand nice and easy if you do the proper steps

water spot removers are essential to restoration of a coating's attributes if you live in a salty winter road environment. Great products!!!

Ótimo vídeo. Muito obrigado pelas dicas de aplicação do Can Coat EVO. Waston Ribeiro - Brasil
Can you do a video on the marine line? Would love to know more about them!

Hi Yves, what type of microfibers are you using during cleaning, apply and polishing the products :)
How often do you top it up? Just had a professional ceramic coating applied.
If I have a freshly ceramic coated car, for example its been coated in the last few days, and I get bug guts from the highway,
should I attempt to remove them? Will they hurt the coating? A quick rinseless wipe down is safe?
It’s always good to remove them as quick as possible, especially in hot and warm climates.

I applied Cancoat to my Land Rover Discovery in August 2022 and feel it could do with a top up. My question is this: after a thorough decon and wash, should I - or could I - use Primer to restore the shininess?
Absolutely. Good choice! After decontamination a one step polish with Q²M Primer, then Q²M Prep and the a fresh layer of Q²CanCoat Evo.

Yves 🙏🔝
And how about topping matte evo? What should I use? Thanks!
Good question. Q²Cancoat EVO as well. It will do wonders, add depth but no gloss.

Y.
I was wondering the same thing-thanks for asking this!
@@seventysschev I'm using Cure Matte mixed 50/50 with demineralized water as my preserver after washing. Works a treat.
@@AB-80X Thanks! Good to know
Hi can i wax Gyeon wax over can coat?
What if you have some swirl marks Will the topper cover it up 👍✌️🇨🇦
No, it will not be covered up by Q²M Cancoat Evo but the use of Q²M Cure will slightly hide very light marring and light swirls.

Y.
