I honestly don't have a good plan against him in lane, it feels like if I hardcore play behind cover I lose out on farm and if I poke my head out to make sure I'm getting my last hits I very quickly get put into "he's going to jump on me, tornado, and kill me" range.
It takes a few more shots to get more stacks onto you. Once you get a stack onto you you need to trade into him (just as long as you don't get more stacks). Though I agree he is oppressive and long-range stacks shouldn't be a thing. He needs to be changed to work similar to Infernus where range matters for applying his debuff onto you. I think the range that you can apply the stacks needs to be adjusted tbh, at least early game. He doesn't have have to consistently shoot at you. All he needs is a single shot every few seconds and you're forced to get behind cover to wait out the stack. He's in a certain category of laning characters that feel insanely overtuned for the laning phase specifically (yamato being the absolute worst imo). I agree with you that his is oppressive in lane. Especially if he's in a duo lane....and even worst if paired with a infernous since that is double to poke damage. I'm not sure what the play is against him early...part of me think that you might have to be a bit aggressive to have him be more on the def or just really play lane of sight with him. Maybe they can change his abilities to where at level 1 it requires two shots to build a stack and make it at level 3 he can have to one bullet shot he currently has.
I've played over 150 games as Ivy and ALWAYS got her with purple priority. The last few days it feels like a ~10% chance to get her with purple prio...
bullet resist shredder + tesla bullets is 4500 souls, and can apply a -25% resist to almost all enemies in an area around a target, vastly boosting damage in team fights, and farming
@@psyjinx On heros where hitting large aoe spirit damage is difficult, Tesla is great for procing Armour shred. Rico is way better in terms of total damage output from your hero, but I was talking more about team damage boost. 15-20% more bullet damage on all targets for the team is just better, and you have less downtime between it upgrades.
@@psyjinx I think you are failing to see the big picture. With light testing armor reduction (just like in DOTA) becomes more powerful, the more armor the target has since its % based. In the mid game where say, someone has 50% increased armor, a single person shooting with proced Armor Shred will do 15% more damage than without, and that effect is team wide. So if say 3 people deal 100% damage without the proc, they will deal 145% damage with the proc. In more simple terms if 3 people deal 1000 dps without the proc, they will deal 1450 dps with the proc. That is HUGE damage. Rico does not increase your single target damage. So it does not help your team burst tanky heroes, or cause the enemy to rethink a frontal assault. But if all the sudden where you were losing 1/2 your health before, and are now losing 3/4 in the same time, you would quickly adjust your play style. Its a relatively cost effective way to increase your total teams dps output, increase your farm speed, and all while not relying on anything more than simply shooting at a target. Tesla + Armor shred on heroes like haze are a net overall dps increase over something like Rico. Run the numbers yourself, the results are shocking (pun intended)
Man, this is a high quality content I hope you will continue doing this set of series as it will be easier to understand what's strong and why it's strong while learning the game
15:30 The reason Vindicta doesn't fell as good now is because of the nerf to her damage dropoff range. This not only impacted her gun damage at range, but her spirit damage scales with distance too. Simply using flight at the buildings roof height is enough to massively impact her damage compared to last patch.
"Rescue Beam hasn't been changed in a while" is not true. It got 500 souls cheaper when it stopped being built from Healing Rite, which was definitely a buff. Not all characters who bought Healing Rite wanted Rescue Beam, but now characters that do want both can have both.
I like it, because deadlock having true tanks would be horrible. Even Abrams, a drain tank, is quite problematic for most people and he would be even more broken if there were spirit power boots allowing him to get 8 vit items
Agree, Boots are mandatory and in almost every game you need to buy at least 1 of the Armors and a situational item like Debuffer/Return Fire/Reactive Barrier. In addition, in most games at least 2 characters need Healbane. Then , in late game many others need Phantom Strike or Leap. Unstoppable is also mandatory in some situations. Not even mentioning that supports are obliged to have 4 Vitality slots occupied by Boots - Rescue Beam - Healing Booster and probably Healbane, not letting you build jackshit cus you also need some flex slots fot Spirit. I feel something simmilar happens with Spirit Items. Some characters like Kelvin or Dynamo can't get enough Spirit while needing a good amount of Greens and it's very painful. I know supports aren't designed to be the most tanky or mobile, but some champs feel like with 3 core items you are more than satisfied while others need 20 items. Itemization in Deadlock feels like items don't cover enough needs. From one standpoint, it benefits efficient itemization and I'm into it, but sometimes it's considerably painful for some characters. In LoL you feel like 6 items is always enough but in Deadlock with 12 slots itemization almost always feels insufficient.
You guys probably dont know, bullet resist reduces the amount of bullet damage reflected. It reflects damage after reduction. So this is a -10% + -25% dmg reduction to return fire, and you cant just walk into haze ult and kill her anymore.. but return fire is secretly the goat anyways
14:20 I agree with your comments regarding Shiv. Since he's arguably my main...I've felt its a bit of a struggle to generate my rage and the meter falls rather quickly now. I also find in the laning phase depending who I'm going up against, he takes awhile to get online. This could be because I run more of a dash shiv than knife shiv though so I'm not sure. I've actually shifted and picked up Kelvin lately and having a lot of fun on him despite the gun nerfs.
I know it's a meme, but building mirage 3 damage and taking ricochet is crazy late game. In the moments where both teams are posturing at an objective, the longer it lasts the more he wins. When the fight is going, you stay in mid range. It feels weird to play, but I essentially go for headshot tags and keep switching between targets. I've had tons of fights where after ~10 seconds, I detonate and it chunks 3+ heroes for 30-50% of their HP. I've had fights where I kill heroes without even aiming at them because of the ricochet detonations. Mystic reverb/slow makes it feel even crazier. Also, he STOMPS in defense with this build. They have to commit instantly or they get chunked for 50% hp.
So I'm also high mmr. In fact I've gotten deathy in about a dozen of my matches in last month and this tier list is amazing but one thing yall sleeping on is GEIST. She was always the terrorblade of this game. Not mobile but insanely broken damage and survivability and she's just getting stronger Maybe for organized games she deserves B but in our pubs to anyone reading I can promise you she is S+ . She's not mobile but that doesn't matter when blood shard and bomb hits like a truck anyway and she scales maybe the hardest in the game. She wants gun vit and spirit items max 1 and then 3 and then 2. Yea you may not get any value at all from swap or drain in fights but it doesn't matter with how tanky she is. Also it's a good thing that people have to think twice about getting close to you due to swap and life drain. I can promise you guys this character is op I've always been a Geist enjoyer and all of these buffs are insane to see.
Been rolled by geists a couple of time and now when I face them I have PTSD and stack healing reduction and haven't had any problem so far, I play low mmr though
@@theSato But she really scales with every stat is what I mean. Tankier = more value from drains and keep you in fight forever, gun does a ton of damage cause blood shard scaling. And spirit scales all of her skills. Whereas someone like Grey talon would maybe fill his gun slots with 1250s and 500s and same with greens and go full on spirit. Geist wants every single stat in the game so she scales imo the hardest and can 1v6 reliably.
Rescue beam felt so underrated, especially in low elo pubs, even though, as a HOTS player, I could clearly see it beign somewhat of a copy of Anduin's pull, which is his innate and was considered one of the best spells on par with every "Unstoppable" spell most healers have, but not having clear role separation makes it harder to invest in "support" item when there are no clear "supports" ('till McGinnes or Ivy that is)
So I know valve has changed stuff, but to me a lot of the changes felt fairly minor (I’m low mmr so it might just be that it doesn’t matter for my skill level) and the changes just nudged us towards builds that would have been good before, but now are just broken
I think people are sleeping on lady geist this patch. I'm not playing her, but she is literally always top of dmg and souls gathered across both teams.
Yep, they definitely are. Most of the commentary from this guy also feels like surface level observations. Geist can shut down close range heroes almost permanently after the buffs.
Eyo I think I was your 15,000th subscriber (or very close)! I subbed at the end of the video because I've been looking for educational Deadlock content and this was like the 4th video in a row of yours I'd gotten something from, and when I clicked on the next, you had gone from 14.9k to 15k! Congrats!
I’ve been have a friend who has been running rescue beam on vindicta for months, and the amount of times per game it saves people is crazy. Honestly surprising it’s taken this long for people to start abusing it way more
It’d be nice if you could provide a build for each character; not quite as in depth as the big shake ups like Kudzu Ivy and Support McGinnis as shown in this video, but just a quick slide at the end or in the video description. Like, I dunno what this Wraith build is about to put her in S tier (but at the same time I’m not high mmr and a bit casual) so it’d be nice to have that quick catch up. Incredible videos man tyvm.
I think Ricochet on mirage is almost necessary. Spreading your 3 proc to the entire team during team fights, or to enemies around corners by hitting creep, is very good. Every time the proc applies it deals a small damage and slow which can proc mystic slow on their whole team from max sight line distance. You definitely need a good tank and brawler to keep them busy though.
for haze ult now, if someone climbs onto a box next to haze, the ult won't hit them, so a lot of lane/post guardian pressure is completely gone if enemy players know about this. the enemy targets have to be on the same plane as haze to get hit by it
Her bullets still fire in all direction and If you approach her from above you will still get destroyed. What is happening is that her ult fires physical bullets that target the centre of your character which means they can be blocked by objects.
@@EmperorSigismund no... there are multiple 1x1 square boxes on the map, if you ult someone next to them and they get on top of the box, the ult stops doing damage. you can test it, its the same thing with the ramps near the guardians. I've mained haze for 150 games, the new LOS changes destroyed her ult
I have had a few games with/against mo & krill and his spirit damage builds did quite well. it was only 3 games but each mo&krill were top of their team
When I saw the patch notes that Grey Talon would get a stack from his ult if the target dies within 3 seconds, I thought that meant that assists would also give him stacks. Do you think a change like that would move him up to A or S tier?
there is an important question you didn't answer about return fire: Does the reflected damage reflect a % of the dmg you are supposed to receive (pre-dmg reduction calc) or a % of the dmg you actually receive after your bullet/spirit resist is taken into account? Because in the 2nd scenario a haze with 700hp ulting you, if you are at 1000 hp, will kill you
They can nerf Kudzu. I am absolutely in love with Tank Ivy. Colossus and Echo Shard make her incredibly sturdy with Stone Form. She's a beast of a gargoyle!
To me, the biggest problem with Vindicta is that she doesn't feel like the game's premiere sniper / Long range character anymore, which is strange not only because it's the identity of the character, but it's also something she pays for with her natural weak resist and only having two bars of stamina. Thanks to his stacks, Mirage's gun can just hit you like a truck from ranges where a lot of weapons just don't do dick - and that's on top of his crazy utility and not having to pay the price of low stamina and negative resists. It feels like Vindicita should either no loner have those weaknesses or have more damage to lean more into the glass cannon role. As it stands it's too much of a price to pay for whatever advantage she's supposed to have.
With spirit builds becoming more and more meta, do you think this also makes Warden a better pick right now? Maybe even build some spirit to enhance his spirit shield and other abilities? Loving these meta report videos!
Please, could you also hint us ways to deal with these broken builds? I would really appreciate that. Thanks for the amazing content, I really like to see your thoughts on the game.
i was buying crippling headshot most games for most heroes i play even before the recent patch. if you're leading the team in farm it's a great way to help your team
I think more bullet resist = spirit is better is an over simplification. Its wayyy easier to do consistent weapon damage and not be cooldown dependent. With bullet lifesteal it also keeps you healthy and in fights longer while doing so. Thats why they shifted a few more items to providing bullet resist because it was was pretty lopsided on which build path provided more value. Its more even now, but I dont believe spirit is ahead of weapon yet.
In pub matches I'm finding more success with a hybrid Ivy build rather than pure spirit. Grabbing Extra Charge and Mystic Vulnerability with a maxed out Kudzu Bomb gives you just enough DPS to drop 1 Kudzu on a Medium camp to clear it without needing to shoot it so you can really power farm to get some massive powers spikes with a gun build. After grabbing Intensifying Magazine, Titanic Magazine, and Crippling Headshot I start stacking the Spirit items. The issue I've found with the Spirit build in pub matches is just how unreliable it can be. Team fights hardly stay in 1 area so getting people to stand in it long enough for it to do more damage than a gun build just feels too random. But using it to power farm means you often have like 50% more money than anyone on your team and can usually translate that into massive leads for the team as a whole
dont really understand the differences between geist and grey talon. both are just nukes pretty much, but grey talon can do it from afar in the back line. he can also go early into his bird with 2 points in his 1 then 2 points in his 4. that gives him semi-global presence. you can send a bird out almost every minute off cooldown and relieve pressure for your team without full rotating like Mirage has to with his ultimate then zipline back. i think Talon is being extremely underrated atm and once people start spamming his ultimate regularly in the next tournament/coming weeks hes gonna receive a nerf to the cooldown cause it can be very oppressive especially in coordinated teams where you can call youre sending a bird in
As a 1700 vindicta main I believe she is stronger than last patch with hybrid or spirit build but her power spikes have changed a lot and she feels weaker because of the changes to soul sharing for assists (she doesn’t profit a lot from her 3rd ult upgrade anymore.
Great video, thanks for the content. What build would you say is best for Warden? I've been going a defense/spirit build focused on getting his ult as buff as possible and it feels really strong. The ability to jump into the enemy team, dealing big damage, and healing so much is quite fun.

I cannot get over Yamato's tower shaped head. I get WHY they look that way from a design perspective. It makes their model very unique, I never mistake Yamato for anybody else, all the characters stand out in a very recognizable way. Yamato is a cone head change my mind.
Deadlock had a Scifi aesthetic early on and Yamato was a Grey alien. I've seen speculation that she's going to get a redesign but at this point I think it's just too iconic.
She's going to get a redesign. The discord with the devs in it actually showed some versions of her new design they might use when they redesign her model
idk how well it would work in higher mmr, but i really like playing mirage buying as many debuff items as possible silencer, bullet resist shredder, healbane, etc. (in really long games i end up with every debuff item in the game almost lol) and get ricochet to apply the debuffs to their entire team; make him an absolute menace in teamfights; i usually play with my brother and his friends in a 6 stack and they usually need someone to do disrupt or out right carry teamfights (i love 1v6ing as infernus with soul rebirth), as they truthfully aren't the best players in the fast paced situations in the game so being able to slow down the enemy team and soften them up is very useful in my specific situation
@@coolfish420 yea, it's def a feast or famine play style grabbing a lot of 500 items like resto shot, extra and enduring spirit, etc. helps a little but I ill normally try to get mystic shot, slowing bullets and bullet resist shredder asap; you can choose an active burst dmg mystic item too, but i usually then try to save up like 12k for ricochet (buy rico asap and then use it to farm faster) and either siphon bullets or silencer to further enhance having ricochet
Pretty sure bullet is fine. Most of my team had around 65% resist on bullet and we still get steam rolled by a gun wraith and Mcginn. This tier list might apply at higher MMR but at lower none of this actually reflects at all. Wraith and Haze right now are huge pub stompers if you build gun.
Honestly that scope Zoom reduction change on Vin’s ult feels awful imo. With Sharpshooter, ads zoom is so much more than the ult now. The change may be better for more players for ease of use, but man does it feel awkward.
I think they may have designed themselves into a corner. duration extending as a stat is super problematic, echo shard and refresher have zero cost (i mean cost to use not to buy) in dota these are limited by mana. I don't think nerfing ivy is the play, but nerfing how some of these stats work, first of all duration extension should probably be removed entirely, I doubt they will be able to balance around it. then some abilities are going to need a cost, either in stamina or ammo, particularly ultimates and items. either that or we are going to have to start being okay with this whackamole when all of these multiplicative forms of scaling align perfectly to make one person insanely strong, and you will see hero's go from bad to broken with tiny changes to scaling.
this is a hot take not a cold take. Thinking about it more you could also probably handle the items with problematic stats with more care. Like duration extender could be made into an active for instance, or you could give abilities a scaling factor with duration increases so they can balance specific abilities. but you still have the issue that the spirit items really scale exponentially, this means that you need to balance them on a needle to make sure they are strong enough without being too strong, small changes to numbers will have drastic effects, same with characters that benefit from them
There is nothing like rescue beam in moba unless its built into a hero's kit. Rescue beam should either have a minute cooldown or removed from the game.
Tbf Spirit Ivy is only really so oppressive/does so much damage because of Escalating Exposure. Even as the second most expensive item, it's SO overtuned. Like, you talk about how they made spirit armour so much harder to get access to, meanwhile Escalating Exposure not only gives spirit resist, but it also shreds so ridiculously hard-- Even if the damage is tickle damage, if it's consistent and easy to apply (So, Kudzu bomb with every ability-radius-up-possible) Escalating Exposure is going to turn it into a shredder just by existing. Hopefully what gets hit is EE, and maybe a bit more flexibility back for getting spirit resist, and then we'll see Kudzu Ivy vanish again just as fast as it popped into existence
McGinnis ultimate doesn't feel strong at all, even in the face of spirit meta. You dont deal much damage with it, it prevents using other abilities or firing/moving, and of course it isn't hard to interrupt or punish.
I have watched many of patch update videos you are the first person to say that dynamo is S because of team play thank you. This is why your tear lists makes sense.
Mystic Vuln gives 6% spirit resist and Escalating exposure give 15% obviously you can't add those to 21% since they build off of Mystic but like...is the number they say wrong or did you just not read the item?
Return Fire isnt as good as you think, because it requires you to be taking damage to even use it. Sure, its a great item, but its not quite as viable as it immediately sounds. Popping Return Fire against a Haze wont do a nearly as much damage to her as you'd think as well, by the time Haze is ulting often she almost definitely has bullet lifesteal, which will mitigate any damage it would do. Sure, its super helpful, but at best it will just take away a good portion of the lifesteal she would get.
Been playing AP Ivy since before the recent buffs, even while everyone and their mother was saying she's only good as a bullet damage carry or potentially support, and I've got to say that I think the game needs MORE non-gun focused spirit based playstyles akin to "AP" champions from League. I really hope the devs don't have a knee jerk nerf reaction to the fact that people finally realized she was already good as an AP based spellcaster zoning type champion. You call it "unfun" but it's about as unfun as getting laser beamed by a strong gun character left clicking you to death. I honestly don't even think it's that broken compared to a lot of other more gun focused characters, and it's got pretty clear counterplay. Yea the buffs to this build were pretty significant, but they weren't game-breakingly over the top and literally no one played her this way before this patch (except the few of us who knew how fun it could be) which should tell you just how broken gun-focused builds are in this game. Please for the love of god devs don't give into the people crying about Ivy wanting her to go back to being just another CoD SMG gun character with a basically useless AP scaling ability.
@Darksyde1029 unlike LoL, Deadlock has a much higher movement skill cap and the aspect of the game that takes advantage of this most is shooting. If someone nukes you with gun damage because of their movement and aim then that sucks but I can't fault the game for that, they're just skilled. There's also endless counterplay to gun damage in movement, utiliIng your kit, or even shooting back with better aim. Ivy Kudzu bomb however is just a point and click AOE that takes up an entire lane and the only counterplay to it is to run. Point and click once simulator might be fun for you to play but it is not fun to play against.
Spirit Ivy was pretty good before the buffs also. She was my main for weeks before the patch and I'm expecting her to get gutted because how many complaints there are. But such is the way of a live service game.
I agree with the fundamental argument of your comment, I do like having more non-gun focused builds. However, this Ivy build is insane, and has very little counterplay once they get refresher - literally any fight will have a million thorns that just melt you. The best counterplay is just winning before Ivy hits her timings tbh. Overall I do like the fact that build diversity is going up!
@@secretlyaslug2325 Yea it's seriously sad as someone who enjoyed playing her as she was before the buffs, even while the build was basically irrelevant to 99% of players. I just PRAY that AP Ivy doesn't somehow end up being worse than she was before this patch.
I was playing her on AP since i got access :D It just felt alot more usefull overall to me. Enemy teams sometimes didnt even understand what was happening lol.
how do you max out ammo scavenger? afaik a creepwave has 2x4 creeps. so if you get all those 8 last hits/denies, you have 10 stacks. Then it takes another 30 seconds (the duration of the buff) for more creeps to come. Or does the buff refresh?

But if all the sudden where you were losing 1/2 your health before, and are now losing 3/4 in the same time, you would quickly adjust your play style. Its a relatively cost effective way to increase your total teams dps output, increase your farm speed, and all while not relying on anything more than simply shooting at a target. Tesla + Armor shred on heroes like haze are a net overall dps increase over something like Rico. Run the numbers yourself, the results are shocking (pun intended)
Man, this is a high quality content
I hope you will continue doing this set of series as it will be easier to understand what's strong and why it's strong while learning the game
Vitality items are so crowded, you got to get sprint boots and dash and that's 2 slots already
Also I like going Divine Barrier
I like it, because deadlock having true tanks would be horrible. Even Abrams, a drain tank, is quite problematic for most people and he would be even more broken if there were spirit power boots allowing him to get 8 vit items
@@goatnoodles9162 I feel like Aabrams is more a problem, because he is literally THE ONLY frontline tank in the game, there's no alternatives to take
Agree, Boots are mandatory and in almost every game you need to buy at least 1 of the Armors and a situational item like Debuffer/Return Fire/Reactive Barrier.
Yeah Divine Barrier is still really strong, covered it in the last meta report video!

Been using return fire since the patch dropped and it's feeling super good. Has saved me a lot in early laning and even helps late game
You guys probably dont know, bullet resist reduces the amount of bullet damage reflected. It reflects damage after reduction. So this is a -10% + -25% dmg reduction to return fire, and you cant just walk into haze ult and kill her anymore.. but return fire is secretly the goat anyways
Danggg now people gonna buy return fire. I've been stomping with it. Blade mail 2.0
More like Blademail Beta, but I see your point 😂
i tried using it last patch and it felt underwhelming, i’ll have to keep trying it
14:20 I agree with your comments regarding Shiv.
Not mobile but insanely broken damage and survivability and she's just getting stronger
Maybe for organized games she deserves B but in our pubs to anyone reading I can promise you she is S+ .
What's the build?
Been rolled by geists a couple of time and now when I face them I have PTSD and stack healing reduction and haven't had any problem so far, I play low mmr though
"she wants gun vit and spirit items" so.. you mean to say.. she wants to fill out her item slots? like all the characters in the game? lol
Shhhh. Everyone is sleeping on her. She's sooo strong right now.
seriously best channel for deadlock imo
A very concise info, no bullshit, only relative info. Loved and liked it.

ive been maining ivy for like a month now and my build was already kudzu focused, no wonder my games have been going even better lately!

Just because every youtube thumbnail is calling every build broken in all caps doesn't mean it actually is.

Congrats!
this is a very good video hopefully next patch we get one hate having to meta hunt thanks man
I’ve been have a friend who has been running rescue beam on vindicta for months, and the amount of times per game it saves people is crazy.
Awesome series. Looking forward to more.
I love the Ivy Kudzu build! Don't make them nerf it xP
Do you think a change like that would move him up to A or S tier?
there is an important question you didn't answer about return fire:
Does the reflected damage reflect a % of the dmg you are supposed to receive (pre-dmg reduction calc) or a % of the dmg you actually receive after your bullet/spirit resist is taken into account?
Because in the 2nd scenario a haze with 700hp ulting you, if you are at 1000 hp, will kill you
Yeah, I don't think it's precal but I'm not sure. I really wish this was exposed in game.
It's pre dmg reduction
@@Deathy thats always insane.
@@thelaw3536 Dota 2 made it precalc after 15 years. As this is its spiritual successor, they just did it right this time.
Just to add, it doesn't return any on hit effects like toxic bullets. Whether they or you have TB.
The Geist buffs have been great, as well as spirit being generally better. Syphon is pretty reliable now and a monster when you get level 3.
Might be cool to touch on what you can build to go against the meta builds
Melee charge is the juice now for sure, crazy for getting your mag up.
Please, could you also hint us ways to deal with these broken builds?
I would really appreciate that.
Thanks for the amazing content, I really like to see your thoughts on the game.
S-Tier Yamato, I knew it since the beginning! Yamato is like spectre once she is fed, she will be terrorizing late game!
i was buying crippling headshot most games for most heroes i play even before the recent patch. if you're leading the team in farm it's a great way to help your team
Literally a day after this video Ivy and Mirage got changed so much
I think more bullet resist = spirit is better is an over simplification.
Gonna try this tonight
dont really understand the differences between geist and grey talon. both are just nukes pretty much, but grey talon can do it from afar in the back line. he can also go early into his bird with 2 points in his 1 then 2 points in his 4. that gives him semi-global presence. you can send a bird out almost every minute off cooldown and relieve pressure for your team without full rotating like Mirage has to with his ultimate then zipline back.
i think Talon is being extremely underrated atm and once people start spamming his ultimate regularly in the next tournament/coming weeks hes gonna receive a nerf to the cooldown cause it can be very oppressive especially in coordinated teams where you can call youre sending a bird in
this is my favorite video, gj deathy!
what do you think on slowing bullets?
welcome back blademail
Hell yea McGinnis has a role in the meta
As a 1700 vindicta main I believe she is stronger than last patch with hybrid or spirit build but her power spikes have changed a lot and she feels weaker because of the changes to soul sharing for assists (she doesn’t profit a lot from her 3rd ult upgrade anymore.
Great video, thanks for the content. What build would you say is best for Warden? I've been going a defense/spirit build focused on getting his ult as buff as possible and it feels really strong. The ability to jump into the enemy team, dealing big damage, and healing so much is quite fun.
Mirage firing fire truck sized bullets out of his gun makes him so oppressive in laning phase.

Great video!
Theres images already of her new design theyre not hard to find. Looks way better.
She's going to get a redesign. The discord with the devs in it actually showed some versions of her new design they might use when they redesign her model
idk how well it would work in higher mmr, but i really like playing mirage buying as many debuff items as possible
silencer, bullet resist shredder, healbane, etc. (in really long games i end up with every debuff item in the game almost lol)
and get ricochet to apply the debuffs to their entire team; make him an absolute menace in teamfights; i usually play with my brother and his friends in a 6 stack and they usually need someone to do disrupt or out right carry teamfights (i love 1v6ing as infernus with soul rebirth), as they truthfully aren't the best players in the fast paced situations in the game so being able to slow down the enemy team and soften them up is very useful in my specific situation
I've tried this too and it's a good build, but it felt very difficult for me to get online even being a little behind everyone else.
@@coolfish420 yea, it's def a feast or famine play style
grabbing a lot of 500 items like resto shot, extra and enduring spirit, etc. helps a little but I ill normally try to get mystic shot, slowing bullets and bullet resist shredder asap; you can choose an active burst dmg mystic item too, but i usually then try to save up like 12k for ricochet (buy rico asap and then use it to farm faster) and either siphon bullets or silencer to further enhance having ricochet
Pretty sure bullet is fine. Most of my team had around 65% resist on bullet and we still get steam rolled by a gun wraith and Mcginn. This tier list might apply at higher MMR but at lower none of this actually reflects at all. Wraith and Haze right now are huge pub stompers if you build gun.

echo shard seven is really strong with selfcast 2's and 1 max
I’ve been waiting for this
Everyone upset over a little gargoyle got me cracking up. Legit full tilt
Was doing Kudzu Ivy before it was popular. Feels bad. :(
Honestly that scope Zoom reduction change on Vin’s ult feels awful imo.
Like duration extender could be made into an active for instance, or you could give abilities a scaling factor with duration increases so they can balance specific abilities. but you still have the issue that the spirit items really scale exponentially, this means that you need to balance them on a needle to make sure they are strong enough without being too strong, small changes to numbers will have drastic effects, same with characters that benefit from them
Melee Charge with Mirage works so well. Ez kills w tornado punch after poking with 3

Tbf Spirit Ivy is only really so oppressive/does so much damage because of Escalating Exposure. Even as the second most expensive item, it's SO overtuned. Like, you talk about how they made spirit armour so much harder to get access to, meanwhile Escalating Exposure not only gives spirit resist, but it also shreds so ridiculously hard--
Even if the damage is tickle damage, if it's consistent and easy to apply (So, Kudzu bomb with every ability-radius-up-possible) Escalating Exposure is going to turn it into a shredder just by existing.
Hopefully what gets hit is EE, and maybe a bit more flexibility back for getting spirit resist, and then we'll see Kudzu Ivy vanish again just as fast as it popped into existence
I think I just found my channel for Deadlock updates on items and general builds.
What are the best carry potential heroes?
Talon on D tier is crazy. His 1 does insane damage at range and ult can finish people off. Not even close to D
deadlock is actually just release-version of mannpower
McGinnis ultimate doesn't feel strong at all, even in the face of spirit meta. You dont deal much damage with it, it prevents using other abilities or firing/moving, and of course it isn't hard to interrupt or punish.
Latest patch notes in official discord is 29 sept, things came after?
I have watched many of patch update videos you are the first person to say that dynamo is S because of team play thank you. This is why your tear lists makes sense.
I think everyone who knows the game agrees that Dynamo's ult is the best in the game
Wraith is the least mechanically demanding hero in the game.
Mystic Vuln gives 6% spirit resist and Escalating exposure give 15% obviously you can't add those to 21% since they build off of Mystic but like...is the number they say wrong or did you just not read the item?
Love these vids
Curious what bracket 7 becomes "C" tier. Im currently 60 games on him with an 80% win rate. Top/2nd player damage and net worth every time
Return Fire isnt as good as you think, because it requires you to be taking damage to even use it.
What makes mirage so good?
i will take a guess and say that some of the stuff will get nerfed

Or does the buff refresh?
yes if you confirm a soul it refreshes all stacks. meleeing a creep also counts as confirming a soul and i think it even stacks on jungle, not 100% certain on that one though.
@@r0fLc0pt3rf0rtHewiN meleeing the orb das give a stack, but meleeing a crep (and preventing the soulspawn) doesn't, at least thats how it looks like to me.
