Have had multiple people ask me "why didn't you black hole" while characters like vindicta sit 20m back uncontested with perfect line of sight. Like you want me to just waste the button and get immediately killed?

A great counter to lash ult and stun I used to completely nullify the lash was using my dome as soon as he landed lol. He basically locked himself into a 4v1 multiple times

I think a fair compromise at this point would be to incorporate HMC as part of an item, kind of like active reload

I can't imagine anyone actually likes the HMC changes, it just removes skill expression and movement options which is really *really* lame in my opinion
one thing that I think is crazy about deadlock, is how pros and high ranking players build so much differently from 99% of the rest of the playerbase, they build items much more like dota, as counters for the other heroes or the situations they are in, while the rest of the playerbase still builds predominantly passive individual items, sort of like very low ranking dota players would be building sange&yasha on crystal maiden it's going to be a while until the itemization meta is more consolidated, I think..
I think that it's because active skills feel very off in this game for some reason
i've recently been using Tesla Bullets on my Lash (and Paradox actually) and the value those 2 get out of it is insane, because they have "burst" weapons that proc the chain lightning about once on average and the 2 hits after the first one do more damage than the first, which hit quite well, since i'm building a good chunk of spirit on both, so i feel like it's a hidden gem for those two, as it also helps so much with clearing jungles and waves so fast, you don't even have to use any skills. 3-4 "bursts" and whole wave is dead, a little more for jungle
The deadlock clip is cool and all, but the noise was fucking peak.

Fortitude pair SO well with Frenzy late game on gun builds. Constant major buffs and you basically can always stay active on the map

Ngl HMC was a fun tech option, and it helps close range characters contest with the longer range ones (both for engage and escape). I practiced it for Abrams and Mo and Krill, in which the former felt really fun messing with the enemy parries or just hoping out of a Warden’s claw. This nerf kind of shut me off from playing them, not to mention that Haze is still boring as ever to fight against. I’ll prob cope hard for this patch but the HMC nerf hurt me the most
All it did was even the playing field when it comes to mobility. You can still do HMC tech with fleet/colossus
@ yeah that and 50/50 mixup on parry but that doesn’t really matter too much in the late game. Also Unstoppable and Vampiric burst is able to work as well, so that makes 4 items

i hope pocket gets a minor rework so that he can function more independently. i feel like his ult really doesn’t fit in with the rest of his kit. it’s a supportive damage over time ability whereas the rest of his kit is geared towards 1v1s and oneshots. i’d like to see pocket get a new, more selfish ult and move some of his utility into his basic abilities so that they can balance him around being a self-sufficient skirmisher rather than a ult bot for teamfights. i’d like to see pocket get better t3 upgrades on his cloak and satchel that allow him to defend himself easier like a short silence or some lifesteal. as for his ult, i think it would be cool if affliction functioned like a stronger decay active that bounces to nearby enemies after some time instead of being a giant radius to give it a more disease-like feeling. just some ideas

@@MyWatermelonz Obviously not true, she has had amp increases on 1 for many patches and then they made it have a massive radius in the late game. Literally the best hero over the last... forever. Excluding characters that randomly just become broken for a patch or two like yamato or shiv.
The new patch seems to have killed the HMC Carbine cancel

they literally just addressed it in this patch
I think HMC is a part of skill expression that they want to keep that they still trying to adjust. Previously, some heroes has certain advantage because one of their abilities can cancel the animation but keep the momentum like Abrams and Paradox. Now it's only available with items, putting all heroes at the same level.

I hate how they keep nerfing Yamato's ult time. Nerf the resist to 40%, and nerf the heal to 15%, I don't care. But leave the damn timer alone. 5 second ult becomes useless. I'd rather have 6 sec base ult and 1 sec extra per kill, than 5 sec ult and 2 sec extra per kill. You don't get sh!t done in 5 sec!
They re gonna nerf her ult each patch till ot becomes almost useless , they did it once already. In few patches her ult will only be refresher + ethernal shift
yeah i agree with you. the problem was always the resistances, not the timer. some of the hero balance lately has been questionable, to say the least.
Then kill someone to extend the timer. The problem with her ult is that it can last a long time if she caught in a fight full of low healths.
split pushing is weaker now i don't like that
I know it’s totally habitual, but definitely for two times there was no reason to press reload since quicksilver was proc-ready in that moment with more than enough rounds to keep firing. And even if it was to preserve cards, I saw more than enough bullets to generate cards to prepare quicksilver anyways (assuming no active reload either). Hard to let go of quickly reloading in downtime for sure, but in a late game battle with this much ammo it’s best to keep firing and think less of manual reloading.
Reloading while repositioning is completely fine though, I don’t see and issue with anyone done in this clip
Melee cancel is fun. I dont think it needs to be nerfed to hell like bhopping was in the ancient times
I have been playing haze ult build and climbing steadily, yea metal skin and return fire counters her but her ult duration lasts longer than metal skin and return fire , whats more u can now time the unstoppable activation in the ult which means you can stop any stun while channeling in her ult. ( just stay away from yamatoes)

On this level of gameplay, being not full health might just cause you to die. Burst combos are insane
"1hp" is just a way you say you're low and depends on the stage of the game you're at, who you're up against, etc. I can't see the debuffs, but to give an example, he may have had several stacks of escalating exposure from standing in the ivy kudzu, making him 1hp to spirit damage.
