What a terrific addition to this great program don’t fly without it
TLOD is radius and quality, this why you'll notice airport ground textures, particularly the taxi line or the marks for parking, looking blurry or low poly when on lower TLOD. Asobo have not been able to separate the two in msfs 2020. Hopefully this is something they address for fs24.
I dislike the forced double click to hide some of the interface, as when you double click to highlight or change a value, or if you misclick it hides the interface. I also tend to double click as I have AutoFPS on another monitor, and double clicking is just muscle memory. I really wish they made this an optional setting, because it's current implementation is a poor QoL feature even though it's intention is to improve it.
Once again thanks for the update ISP, 10K subs just around the corner.
That’s something I’ve noticed… it’s super annoying when you drop TLOD down it makes airport ground textures right in front of you super low res.

You can actually start GPU-Z whenever you want, but you should start AutoFPS before you start MSFS.

I’m having some issues with it working with Sim update 15 I also have DLSS and open tool kit I run those street programs. But the Sim update 15 is stuttering bad don’t know if one of those programs is stopping it.

Hello, I have trouble with this, my cpu 7950x3d but with tlod 400 and I m getting cpu spikes frequently at cruise level and fps down to 25-30 without fg. is it normal and what is your suggestion?
Help the SimConnect and session doesn't turn green when I launch the game. Idk what to do

When i install update it say ms installed successfully however when I open it I am still on old version

Hey! From my understanding it just has to be running in conjunction with Auto FPS.

Anyone having issues lately with this sim running very slow to load and also getting Internet connection lost warnings?
It sound to me way more complicated from the last version!! will take me a while to know which expert options to use.
Not really, basically just gives you one more variable to account for: if your GPU load gets too high, it will drop your cloud settings to give you a bit more performance.
What was your reasoning for not recommending the auto start feature? I've been using that since day one, thanks
It makes changes to the startup files of FSUIPC and MSFS, and there’s no way to revert the files back if you want to uninstall the program. But other than that there’s no harm. If you’ve used it for this long successfully I wouldn’t worry about it.
Hello. With the latest update, I can't open anymore the window of autofps, so that i can't input settings and options. So the software is still running in background when I load MSFS. I try to desintall/reinstall, but same. Do someone has this issue ? Thanks
I'm experiencing the same issue, I don't bother trying to figure it out because the sim is still running smoothly

If if you have 2 monitors and you happen to have changed which one's your main monitor, try to revert that and you might be able to open the interface again

This app kept show up in the background not on desktop. I can’t do any adjustment. Please help. How do I do a clean uninstall this app and start over?
Hey, if you start the app, close it in your system tray and then restart it within ten seconds, it should be visible. So start it, close it in system tray, start it again real quick and you should be good. Let me know!

Downloaded latest version but the autofps window will not open. Message states program is running. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Thanks.
I think if you close it in the system tray and re-open it within 10 seconds it will re-open in the center of your main screen. Try it and let me know.
@@IslandSimPilot Thanks, that worked. Running Windows 11, right click on icon in system tray, option to show window and left click on that and the autofps window is visible again. 🙏

Is it on your system tray? Or do you mean you see a shorter menu? In which case click on expert options for the advanced settings.
@@IslandSimPilot There is an issue with this version. I clicked on the app and it does not show at all on the screen or in the system tray, and thus cannot be closed. and it is freezing the MSFS once loaded.
@@IslandSimPilot I believe the issue that this latest 4.2.16 version messes up in the interface to SimConnect. I use FS2Crew and it uses SimConnect. I could not launch FS2Crew and it was giving me a SimConnect error, which now I can see was related to AutoFPS, as after I removed the .16 version and went back to .10, everuthing was restored. Any idea on how we can provide the feedback to the developer?

Uninstall and reinstall latest version rather than update
