not 100% but i would say yes the frame gen mod doesnt use geforce and worst case you just run the nvidia file you download from nvidia and reinstall the full driver .
you say you cant use vsync? in the nvidia panel ? this shouldnt affect that but i dont use the nvidia vsync i use the in sim. when i check the nvidia panel adaptive half refresh is available on my pc.
@@2020fsers I use FSR, so the simulator's v-sync doesn't work, I need nvidia's v-sync in the adaptive option with half the frequency, as my monitor is 144Hz and I wouldn't like to constantly change the frequency depending on the app I'm using. using. And with this modification, V-sync with the adaptive option stopped working, it doesn't lock halfway, it simply locks at the full frequency. But, that's ok, I lowered the monitor to 100FPS and it's running fine.
I have been doing this for a couple years and haven't had an issue. Maybe you need to reset you power settings so your USB doesn't go to sleep . Change power profile in windows to ultimate or performance
That's what I use is a crystal and no issues . The only thing you could try is to load the original driver and check again with that to make sure that's what it is.. You may want to go into the advanced settings of the power plan and make sure that your uSB Power saving is disabled, so it doesn't shut off the USB.
@@2020fsers Thank you for your reply. Yes after my crystal kept reconnecting after 30 seconds or so I installed the driver with default settings and that fixxed the issue. I will try again tonight :)
@matness8879 ok here is an alternate way of doing this . If you still have this problem when you try it again , then try this method run the d d u application. Then Click on the nvidia file that you downloaded from nvidia Select custom install once the screen pops up in the custom install menu unselect ge force. Everything else will be installed with the driver except for GeForce. So this method won't eliminate every bit of bloatware, but it'll get rid of the main portion of bloatware being GeForce
If you're asking, can you add it to the build After you've created it, no, you cannot. You would just run the setup file for the original nvidia driver as I discussed in the video to install all of the GeForce components. You could also use the nvclean Install application to install only portions of g force experience If you do that, you may notice some other options get checked as well. Some of the options with g force. You will need other options to go along with it. And may also say that in the information on the right hand side of the screen when you click on them.
I don't false advertise at all . Don't believe me. Like I say in the video look at all the hundreds of comments on the previous video and tell them they are full of it and they didn't get a performance boost . But hey don't try it it's your call you make the decision . I can only show people the way some will stray and some will follow.
Just a quick note, followed your every other fps releated video to the word but i dont think theese tricks help with when youre cpu bottlenecked. Msfs is really hard on cpu and badly optimized for it, if the in game fps metrics it says "limited by main thread" you will probably get no gains at all from all tge tricks/hacks videos on youtube.

Thanks, realy like it. Im running a RTX3060 12Gb, I7 9700K and 32Gb RAM. Do you have some good adwise for the Sim- Settings with this Mod ?
Thanks for the comment ... sim settings will vary on your system .. i did a video on setting I'll find it.

any clue to be able to select tbe flightsim2024 exe without having a denied access ? store version of 2024
Haven't seen that maybe you have to uninstall it and reinstall it
I currently have the Nvidia driver 551.23 installed (standard procedure) but proceed according to the clean installation, should I uninstall it (first and after make a clean installation) or just install it again according to the clean installation procedure? Thanks.
You should follow the exact procedure that I go over in the video if you want to debloat the driver from GeForce and all the other stuff .
@@2020fsers Is it important to do a clean uninstall every time you update?
@alexsollalemos5181 yes the ddu is very important to removing previous versions So you don't have anything conflict with the new version..
Thank you very much!@@2020fsers
Your welcome
Hi with this cleanup would you keep the rbar settings as in your previous video? Great video, excited to try this.
Also have you had any experience with armory crate? There seems to be allot open in the background?
Yes still keep your rbar settings . And you will have to re adjust all of your other settings, possibly even your resolution settings in the nvidia panel.. thanks so.much for the super thanks 😊 🙏 you already do enough but thank you . 😊 armory crate I have no idea what that is . Maybe your anti-virus.
Its the AMD UI, I'm running the 7900X3D and the software runs the MB and most updates. Didn't know Nvidia bloatware was there as I custom install fresh every update. So curious as to if this does the same.@@2020fsers
Do you have GeForce installed
And how many containers did you have open in your task manager?
Can you use frame gen with this?
not 100% but i would say yes the frame gen mod doesnt use geforce and worst case you just run the nvidia file you download from nvidia and reinstall the full driver .
When I try to open DDU It shows the file cannot be accessed by the system
Did you use the portable version? If so try the install method
Very good, but I don't can use v-sync Adaptative (half refresh rate) anymore.
you say you cant use vsync? in the nvidia panel ? this shouldnt affect that but i dont use the nvidia vsync i use the in sim. when i check the nvidia panel adaptive half refresh is available on my pc.
@Judenilson oh ok I don't use that mod and wasn't aware of the limitation of vsync . Thanks for letting me know and glad you gotnit working .
Hi, have tried all the settings in your video. When I start msfs2020 it says that my graphic card is not the right one.... is this normal?
Sounds like you may have not downloaded the driver for your card possible .
for some reason when I do this my Pimax Crystal disconnects every 30 seconds or so. Any suggestions?
I have been doing this for a couple years and haven't had an issue. Maybe you need to reset you power settings so your USB doesn't go to sleep . Change power profile in windows to ultimate or performance
I had the exact same thing with my crystal when trying this. Also changing the power plan didn't solve it. Any suggestions?
That's what I use is a crystal and no issues . The only thing you could try is to load the original driver and check again with that to make sure that's what it is.. You may want to go into the advanced settings of the power plan and make sure that your uSB Power saving is disabled, so it doesn't shut off the USB.
@@2020fsers
Thank you for your reply.
So as we deleted geforce experience, Can I installed or do you bot recommended?
You can install the original driver with GeForce if you want to switch back.
I want to use my GeForce later on, will it be possible to download GeForce after doing this process? Thanks
@@2020fsers okay thank you. I understand
I am really tired of this kind of videos and false advertising on thumbnails... Up to 30% - yeah, never happening.
It hasnt taken long for youtube to get worse than Hollyweird.
I don't false advertise at all . Don't believe me. Like I say in the video look at all the hundreds of comments on the previous video and tell them they are full of it and they didn't get a performance boost . But hey don't try it it's your call you make the decision . I can only show people the way some will stray and some will follow.
It actually does work. But it’ll fry your GPU.
Lol fry your gpu not having GeForce ok.
have you actually tried it before talking all that shit?
A realy good video but I followed the steps and now I have ended up with realy big lag .Not sure but I think it has somthing do with ISCL program
Turn off the islc and test . I doubt that is it but possible I guess
It's really a toss up I've had people with low end cpu get a great boost from this. But everyone system is different and software that is running so that's why I always suggest people to try things and not listen to 1 person .
Followed the steps 100%. No control panel was installed despite leaving the box unchecked. I'll try again.
Correction - I installed the driver in Safe Mode. You never stated that you should come out of Safe Mode to install the driver. Thanks!
When the ddu restarts your pc it should start in normal mode. I say this at 14:10 .
Yep it does. I just didn't know whether to go back into safe mode to install new drivers. Which I did at first, which presented the no control panel situation. Once I installed the new driver on a normal restart it worked! @@2020fsers
@thatcountrydad6304 awesome 👌 glad you got it working 💪
I didn't try this and nothing happened. What's up?
I guess if you didn't try it nothing would happen .
@@2020fsers Oh..then I guess I will try
Not even kidding i went from 18fps in fenix to 35fps
That's great results thanks for the comment 👍
What do you know about this approach? MSFS Frame Gen Mod For ALL RTX NVIDIA GPUs
I feel the frame Gen. Mod introduces too many issues with glitches screen tearing and menu glitches. I always urge everyone to try things. But for me. I feel that this is gonna cause more problems for some than benefit.
That's why I haven't done a video on it..
Good enough for me, thanks!
Your welcome .
👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks bud .
AMD doesn’t need tweaking videos. 😅
True
Wow! You are totally right! Now I can run stable 45 FPS (before stable 30) in VR all maxed out (except volumetric Clouds and ambient occlusion at high). Smooth as hell. 4090 12900k. At big airports I get 38-40 FPS. Before: 25 max. Thanks a lot!
I combined your tutorial with this one: th-cam.com/video/SsNMySAiqSI/w-d-xo.html&si=Cc2omxu9PehQoY41
Your welcome and thanks for posting your results . 👍
I hate Microsoft more than Ive ever hated anything in my life.
This one is on nvidia
tried this time ago, not worthy
CTD every time
what I would do is revert back to the original driver then and see if you still get a crash.
Not needed...just do a clean Nvidia install without geforce experience option..click bait
you can do that also but it doesnt remove everything . i recommend that method when the nvclean install doesnt work for them
@@2020fsers he means do not install EXPERIENCE to even begin with doh.
Old news...nothing new here!
Correct updated from the original video with the new settings
I already have only 2 NVIDIA CONTAINERS as I never install EXPERIENCE.
Then no need to worry .
Hey Jon. Just a quick heads up to let you know noticed in last couple of videos your audio is a bit low. Could maybe do with being boosted by a couple of DB's 🤏👍
Ok yeah I knew the 530 was low but this one sounds ok on my phone ill boost it a little more in the future
Do you think this video sounds low also?
@@2020fsers Yeah it is pretty low
Ok thank you . 😊
