Just recently the average cost per Home in San Antonio reached $300,000 unfortunately. While it may not be a high price for some outsiders, I’d think many of the locals, in particular the ones house hunting are feeling it. Gentrification is happening in many of the surrounding areas outside of downtown area. While it’s getting more beautiful the affordability of it is also changing. Great informative video tho!

Sam Antonio is a great place to live with a great quality of life. The metro has about 2.6 million people it is one of the largest in the country. @@BrothaontheGo Hallo,
Yes you are right. The google translator is really good
But I could have written in English too.
You wanted to know how the Covid situation is in Germany.
I can tell you that at the beginning of the pandemic last year, the German government did it really well.
You have put a lot of money in hand to support people, the economy, companies and small businesses.
And the people here still had a lot of respect for the virus.
But now, a year later, I have to say it's not that great anymore.
The restaurants and shops are closed. The numbers were very high and the government had not ordered enough vaccine.
People also didn't feel like staying at home anymore.
That was of course a mistake, which is why there were or are still too many infected people.
      But it's getting better.
There is now enough vaccine and many are vaccinated. I think the shops and restaurants etc. will open again in two weeks.
The health system in Germany is very good. That is the reason that fortunately not that many people have died.
I hope to see my son again soon, who lives in San Antonio.
Stay healthy and all the best

Consider River Chase, Copper Ridge or Vintage Oaks Neighborhoods. Houses are more spread out and it’s a little more of a rural feel. The neighborhoods on the edge of New Braunfels especially west of I-35 Have bigger lots and a touch of the Texas Hill Country. Also Canyon lake is very close by.

New Braunfels is more of a retirement community really. And most retirees don’t want a lot of land to take care of - hence alot of. “garden homes”. But Texas is big, with a lot of room to spread out. Plenty of places with big lots if thats what you want.

Hey Camille, sorry it took so long to respond. I always try to be 100% honest when I am answering a question, so I will start with this. I don't live in San Antonio, so answering this question specifically I have to rely on research. This is a link to Niche.com: bit.ly/3tfLxm8 In the area that I live their school ratings are very accurate. On their tool, you can select best schools by age group or even ranks school districts if you prefer. Many commentators are stating that the liberals are moving here to Texas, but the assumption is incorrect. Austin and San Antonio have always lazily laid purple until recently. Many conservatives move here thinking the entire state is red, which is wrong. A large portion of native Texans and long term transplants are voting blue to compact the spike of new transplants bringing their red values into major cities that have been fairly mellow politically. The biggest observation i and others have noted is the political climate has turned into red verses blue over the last five or so years. It used to be everyone would take turns hosting bbqs and political garbage wasn’t the highlight of the conversation, but now it seems to take the stage front and center. Don’t move here with extreme political stances right or left thinking you’re part of some sweeping movement because the locals will vote opposite of you to keep you in check. Come here to embrace our state’s established friendly, easy going and welcoming culture that you read about and fell in love with the ideology of.

      @BrothaontheGo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hey Lynn, thanks for watching the video! I am not sure I agree with your entire analysis, but I will say this. I do agree that Texas has a great, friendly culture. Even if people are very liberal or very conservative that doesn't mean we can't get along with each other. Politics is a big part of our lives today, but I also hope Texas remains friendly. In DFW, my family was invited to several churches and gatherings when we were visiting the area. I love Texas and Texans are great people! Take care, Lynn!

Cost of living and jobs are a huge part of deciding if you want to live somewhere. Like you, many consider that to be the most important factor. I’m sorry but we are trying to buy a home for 200k and have not been able to get a house so yeah good luck on that. What you can enjoy is the out doors out here and near by city’s and the beach in corpus. My main thing in San Antonio as a negative is the crime no matter where you live unless you live in 500+ home you are gonna be a target for crime. Also don’t depend on the cops out here as they are part of the crime. I’ve seen cops allow drug deals to happen and be apart of gang activity. Also you can tell San Antonio doesn’t take care of its city you can tell that the city is pocketing money not and putting it where it needs to be.

Hey Watchdog, It is interesting that people do that. I don't have a great explanation for that train of thought. My best guess is that there are a lot of people who are fiscally conservative and socially liberal. Which may be why you see people leave a place like California because they believe it is too liberal, but want Texas to be less conservative. Thanks for watching and take care!

Thanks, Watchdog! I have been trying hard to put out quality content, so I appreciate that a lot. Cali is really expensive in a lot of places. But, the income taxes are really crippling for so many too. I think most liberals and conservatives can agree with that. I am concerned about property taxes in Texas. As home prices increase that could become a big problem. But, I can see how affording a house in California seems increasingly unlikely for many who currently live there. Take care, Watchdog!

Actually most Californians voluntarily moving to Texas (not involuntarily job relocated) are an asset. They are it's smart, hard working, conservative political refugees being culturally displaced & looking for a traditional state to raise their family and call home. Not the idiot left coast radicals that hate conservative, god fearing, patriotic states like Texas. They've experienced first hand destructive liberal politics and fiscal policy making them very reliably conservative voters. None of us can choose our birthplace but we can choose to live where traditional values and morals are reflective & help make (or keep) that city, state, and America great.

One of my favorite places to start is here: www.politico.com/2020-election/results/texas/

As far as the order of races I don't change that graph order for every video. Creating the diversity graph is the most complicated part of the videos for me. I decided to create a template. I don't customize that section based on which race is the most populous in that city. Because I would have to change that template a lot. So, I decided to list it in races by percentage in the country so I wouldn't have to take a lot of time to customize. I have a tendency to ramble so hopefully that made sense 😂. What area of So Cal do you live in?
