That's why till this day, you have massive Jewish communities in New York and New Jersey. Only about 45k Jews immigrated to Palestine. Palestinian Arabs, lost their damn mind off of that. I don't think that ten instances of a kind of passage as "If someone slaps you, slap them back." or "if somebody steals, cut off their hand" qualifies as "more violent" in comparison to a singular passage that says "if this guy does not believe in me as the one true god, fucking kill him."
As far as I am aware, while Judaism may be a little hardcore with punishments and violence in general, it's usually of the judiciary variety and it applies equally to all subjects, Jewish or otherwise.
While in Islam there's a much more clear distinction of us versus them, the believers and the infidels.
It is EXTREMELY disingenuous to classify these religions in that order based on the QUANTITY of mentions of violence, and not taking into account the type of violence.
It's like you had two states with the exact same population.
In state A within a year there had been 100000 cases of minor assault and 10 murders.
In state B within a year there had been 10 cases of minor assault and 1000 murders.

The only time a Shari'a state would make a treaty with other counties is when it's weak, and cannot invade them. Before his demise, Mohammed revoked all peace treaties he made with non Muslims early on when his state was weaker. This happened in concordance with the revelation of Surah Bara'a (i.e: no deal) the most vio**** Chapter in the Qur'an, and according to most of the well-regarded Sunni scholars, that chapter abrogated all of the earlier peaceful verses in the Qur'an.

They released the manifesto where they described Israel as racist colonizers to appeal to non whites and leftists in the west and in Africa/Latin America, they removed the "kill all J3ws" thing from the manifesto to moderate their image, and they purposely put deals knowing Israel would refuse to make themselves appear as good faith actors.

When the guy said, paraphrasing, "There's an argument to be made that freedom fighters never commit terrorism" anyone listening immediately knew that this was not going to be a good faith discussion. Geez... And then he justifies the nearly 2 dozen attacks/hijackings/bombings of civilian airplanes by pro-Palestinian forces by stating "Israel did that once too!" ... ... Ah, and of course whenever Destiny points out a factual error her has, he immediately says "well I don't want to talk about that, what do you say in response to this other subject so we don't need to engage with what you just said."

the interesting thing about the admissions committees thing is that in indonesia (a muslim-majority country), they have a very similar law but with regards to building places of worships. so if you want to build a place of worship in an area, you are required to get a certain minimum of signatures from the surrounding people. now guess which group are having issues with building their places of worship

I don't have the specific timestamp because I'm not going to rewatch a 2 hour video just for you to disagree anyways but he did say things like "what Is Israel a colony of?" And "He didn't use the term ethnic cleansing because that term didn't exist at the time"
Both of which are irrelevant points. Any honest or well read person would acknowledge Israel was colonized by the European jews after ww2. It wasn't a single country but that's not what colonization even means.
And secondly, that's irrelevant that the term ethnic cleansing didn't exist when the guy being quoted described ethnic cleansing. Just because he didn't have the specific term, doesn't mean the phenomenon itself didn't exist

@@dillonblair6491 wrong. He’s not saying because ethnic cleansing wasn’t a terminology at the time, that it didn’t exist. If you actually listen to his argument he’s saying that in the framework the world was under during that time, ethnic cleansing wasn’t as normative loaded as it is today; it was just the way of the world and something the powers that be in the Middle East practiced as well. That’s how Jews were ousted from the land before Palestine was even a thing. That’s how the Ottoman Empire moved large swaths of people when they were in power. That’s why it was ridiculous that the guest had a hard time admitting the surrounding Arab states were also guilty for their imperialist/colonialist agendas; if you’re going to condemn any movement of people from land before/during/after armed conflict, get ready to condemn literally every major actor in the region at the time.
Just because the Arab states failed at doing so in the end, doesn’t change the context and normalization of what happened in the past. Retroactively applying a modern lens is something both Destiny and the guest agreed to, only one applies that consistently in this convo and it wasn’t the guest.

@1hr20 buddy says the difference is Palestinians haven't spread all over the world and are living essentially under Israel's thumb - but, if he looked that up, he'd find about 1/2 (7mil) Palestinians actually do live as diaspora in other countries. That's pretty significant, and makes his point meaningless when trying to define the difference between the Israelies and Palestinians and 'colonization'.

The whole problem is the Palestinians unwillingness to peace. The Palestinians/Arabs need to arrive at three fundamental convictions for the Israel-Palestine conflict to get solved:
    1. We recognize the equal right of the Jewish people to self-determination in their historical homeland in Israel.
    2. We aspire to create a Palestinian state neighbouring and not instead of the Jewish state.
    3. We recognize that we are not refugees and that we do not have a right of return to Israel.
