Like the last chick, I went on a date once where the dude NEVER asked a question about me, in a 4 hour date, which was dinner and drinks after at a second location. He finished the date up by telling me his dream is to have a commune and free love and everyone raises babies together, and OMG I high tailed it outta there.
That happened to me once. One time in the middle of a first date, a guy announced his dream was to move to Alaska and live off the grid. And that’s fine and all, but not for me 😂

If you are a woman of legal age and of sound kind and body it is entirely your fault that you’ve never been on a date.
Talked to this guy on okcupid for like 3 weeks, kept trying to meet him but he kept saying he was busy and what not. Eventually he dropped the bomb of having cancer, thats why he couldn't meet me. Kept talking for like 3 more weeks before I decided that I couldn't continue this was too much for me. I was like 21 and never met the guy, but I still felt so guilty about it. Like he has cancer and you can't be patient and like potentially date him. Well year or 2 later someone shared a news story about him getting in trouble cause he made a GoFundMe for bills.... that's when I learned he never had cancer. I felt so guilty for not sticking it out but then learned about this and was like wowwww I felt so bad. Pretty sure I cried after deciding I was "too weak".

omg I relate to the second girl’s, second story....i’ve been on a date where the dude just talks about himself the ENTIRE time.
My most cringe-worthy moment: I was at a house party of salsa dancers and a guy I'd never seen before asked me to dance. I thought, "Okay, nothing too out of the ordinary" because salsa is a social dance, and you dance with everybody there, and it means nothing romantic. Well instead of salsa he pulled me in to him for a close, slow dance, was very obviously trying to kiss me as I kept my head turned away from him avoiding him (he had his face really close to mine which is why I turned away). Like, I had just met this guy less than five minutes ago, slow tf down!!! But I felt like it would be rude to walk away mid-dance, so for some stupid reason I was going to just stick it out and bear through it for the remainder of the song. THEN the super cringe-worthy thing happened. He took my hand and put my thumb in his mouth. I was just like "WFT?!?!" and high-tailed it out of there mid-song after that. He sat in the corner of the room sulking at staring at me for a while before finally leaving the party.

It's funny when the girl mention how her mom got her a date, reminds me of a time when I met this older women at a human resource in Universal Studios and all of sudden during the interview she started to introduce me to her daughter like " this her " " she's in college " giving details about her and then she said but you're very nice and smell good, you know what I have connections to this place I will be right back and as soon as she enters the room she was like forget this interview you got the job, Just fill out your information here and you will be ready to go. She would even invite me to lunch a couple of times even tho my lunch break was 30mins, she said she had the power to give me 1hour lunch breaks. Till this day I really don't know if the mom wanted to get to know me more or wanted me to hook up with her daughter.

Honestly 7:20 is a real issue.... I struggle with it alot and actually caused me all sorts of mental trauma as well as a eating disorder. Of course other things factor in to it but it was a huge part of it. However apart from that the dude did seem very self absorbed.

Weirdest date I've ever been on was with a dude who seemed normal, until halfway through dinner when he revealed that he's some weird rope fetish guru with a harem of women (weird because of the harem, not the fetish) and he wanted me to join. Got mega Charles Manson vibes after that. When I was honest and said I wasn't into the whole sister wives life of sexual subservience deal that he pitched, he got super defensive and said I wasn't hot enough and he 'didn't like my energy' so even I had said yes he wasn't going to allow me to join anyway.
Mind you, I live in a very sexually liberated country so if he had just been like "yea I'm a fetishist and I'm poly" I would have been like cool, not the way I swing but you do you boo, but it was the air of domination and intense narcissism in the way he described his little group to me that made major red flags pop up. He was so obviously trying to be suave and manipulative and it just wasn't working.
I was shy. My hip friends said, just ask a guy out and break the ice so to speak. No big deal they said, just coffee talk right? Well I did, but actually this wouldn’t count as a real date as the guy in no uncertain terms made it clear he could never date someone like me as I didn’t look like Elizabeth Montgomery or Barbara Eden. They were his “types”. Wow. When I look back I think the guy was actually wearing a red flag, lol 😝 Ps. This in some odd way empowered me as I suddenly realized not everyone was worth my time.
I think most singles have had at least one bad or really awkward date. I once went on a date with a guy who just talked about the politics of a political party and tractor race competitions the entire first date, not realising i was bored and became a bit annoyed. We never dated each other again after that.

My friends where nearby and one of them is a boy said so loud, hey how long will it take till cat hits him? He stared at me and I said what I’m petite you said so. He laughed green. Never got a date with him he was polite for sure.
