My husband just went to his dresser drawer one night (when we were dating) and pulled out a box and laid next to me in bed, didn’t say a word, just super nervously let me open the box and slid the ring on my finger, then we kissed. My dad gave the engagement store his home phone number rather than his mobile number so of course the store called my parents apartment and my mom picked up the phone and they said that the engagement ring was ready to be picked up. My mom was so happy that she was going to be proposed to by my dad, but she decided not to tell him that the store called and later that week my dad proposed and she acted all surprised and didn’t tell him that she already knew about the ring until their honeymoon.
My fiance was going to propose on the Farris wheel in Las Vegas but ended up not because it didnt feel right with all the people around, so he kneeled down on one knee out side the bathroom of our hotel room and waited 20 minutes till i was done getting ready. I opened the door butt naked saw him with the ring in his hand and tackled him to the ground screaming yes! before he could even ask. It doesnt matter how you get engaged as long as you love the person, you dont need some big flashy thing.
When someone says "I'm not good enough for you", it's never true. It usually means they have already checked out of the relationship and don't know how to break up.

id say more of if lets say : they were out on a date and then he said he had a gift for her and give her a purse (of her liking) then telling her he has sumn inside too and then maybe a pic of them on top over the ring / ring box or lipstick or sumn so that first catches her eyes and she checks that out then she would see the rig /ring box and take it out and while she is takign it out go down on one knee so by the time she looks up (well down) she gets the idea pop the question boom!!! if she doesn't notice the ring/ring box immediately after the 1st / distraction thing(s) then say 'there is moreeee' and as she goes in n gets in to get it out. down on the knee n boom!!! ~~~~~~ but I agree with what ur saying tho my scenario that I typed is better for putting it in a purse but the dude in the vid is crazy n what ur speaking of is indeed laziness

Ok so like for the first story I had to look back at the title of the video to make sure that this was a horror story video cause of the fact that it was so sweet of her to do this and then I hear the rest an it just 🙃took a turn I wasn’t expecting
My dad didn’t even ask my mum to marry him, technically. He just wrote “will you become engaged to me?” on a banner at the small party he threw. Bless my dad.😂

My dad proposed to my mum when they were living in Japan and it was a really hot day so they were sitting on the sofa in their underwear and my mum suddenly said "we've been dating for a while now, are you gonna propose to me soon?" And my dad said yes. So my mum asked "ok, when?" And my dad just proposed right there, yes, they were both in their underwear and he proposed. And then a few days later, he gave her a ring when they were having lunch in a KFC 😂😂😂 I know, so romantic

My co-worker's husband was so nervous before the proposal that he got in a car accident. Nobody was hurt but the mood was killed. She was super confused as she didn't know why he was so worked up. Later that evening, when they got home, he was shaking and crying but he proposed nevertheless. She said yes but asked him to calmly propose again in a few days the way he had planned it
On a scale of 1-10 I felt 10.5. cracked me uppp😂😂😂

oh man! I hate bad endings, the first girl had such a nice story but the plot twist was horrible.. the man is with the right person, because she knew he was nervous and knew he's bad at these things so she just kept calm and waited for him to do his thing and just accept it

My fiance proposed to me on New Years Day 2020. I always said I wanted my family around and he did it when we were all sitting down to New Years Brunch. I was actually sicker than a dog that day and the day before. My throat was hurting so bad and I was so stuffy. I also had a mouthful of toasted bread when he knelt down on one knee... I was sick and had a mouthful of food but hey, I wouldn't have it any other way :)
So my cousin just got engaged and I don’t know how her fiancé did it but the day we got the news was good news to a bad day. My grandfather has Alzheimer’s went out of the house that day with no supervision just to get a scratch off card. He was missing for 40 minutes and I had to call 911 cause my grandma was the only person with me and she can barely speak English. Now my grandpa has a gps tracker and is forever under intense supervision. But happy for my cousin. Like i said, good news to a bad day.
I will say that big public proposals reeeeally rub me up the wrong way. That's a lot of pressure to put on a person in that moment.
