For anyone who is looking for info about Picture Mode and Black equalizer being disabled, or wondering about G-Sync flickering, I've added more deets in the description ^^^ (they both pretty much boil down to having HDR enabled). Thank you so much to everyone who commented for helping me get this info out there! :)
@@cornthedun3015 you can play with HDR and G-Sync disabled and there won't be any flickering. But I really don't recommend using HDR with this monitor. It does very little, if anything at all and is more of a marketing label than an actual feature. True HDR is meant for 10-bit color depth or higher screens, this one uses 8-bit. The colors on this monitor already look great to me and can be adjusted to anyone's liking.
Thank you so much for your kind words! :) I'll keep trying my best to make content that is helpful to consumers! This month is a little slow bc new hardware releases and they're hard to get, but I'll have some good vids by the end of this month or beginning of December. I really appreciate you watching!
@@MauriceTarantulas People seem to be either for or against curved panels mostly. I'm fine with either, really. But I think it's funny how I forget that the screen is curved at all when using the monitor haha
One of … if not the most comprehensive overviews of this panel. I have liked subscribed and saved this video for when mine comes in next week to use as a tutorial. Great channel and videos. I mike that you don’t have 5 minutes of intro or fluff and you get down to the nuts and bolts of all aspects of the gear you are reviewing. Outstanding.
watching this on G34WQC.. great monitor! I personally have the standard picture setting with brightness on 80% and color vibrance on 12 and I'm in absolute love with it
Great monitor review! I watch a lot of monitor review by hardware unboxed and your review is almost as great as theirs! And for being such a small channel, your review is WAY better than I expected. Keep up the good work.
I must say, even though I'm late to the party, given that the upload is about a year old, I found your review to be very informative. You covered a lot of important details. There was nothing gimmicky about your video. It was very straightforward easy to understand. There was no shouting, no over acting and overzealous intent. All those content creators who do the unboxing and video reviews of products, should really watch a video as a crash course on how it should be done.
It was requested to do so in my unboxing, so I couldn't skip it. It's a very neat feature! Glad I could offer some insight, thanks for watching my review! :)
Great review! I had this monitor for a month now too and I am really happy with it! The only minor annoyance is that to switch it off you have to long-press the joystick on the backside of the monitor. I wish there was just a simple button for that.
Thanks for the nice words and for watching! :) I'm glad you're liking the monitor too. I don't long-press to power off the monitor, it always automatically turns off when I shut down my PC. Maybe you can try this out, and if you do let me know how it goes!
For this, I just don't turn it off, taped some black tape on the standby light (because I hate those). And use an ahk script to force sleep the screen if I want to 'Turn off' the display when I go away but still want the PC on. For other cases I disabled 'Auto Switch Sources', so if I put the PC to sleep or turn it off and there is another source still one, it just goes to standby.
Wow! Thanks for this review! I'm just waiting for the Hardware Unboxed video (for the in-depth response time and color accuracy testing) and then I'll make a decision
Perhaps this is one of the best reviews on the monitor. Thanks! In Russia this monitor is out of stock, but I will wait. If it does not appear, I will take the AOC CU34G2X/BK - this will be the best of the nearest options.
Thanks for the kind words! I hope it becomes available in Russia soon, as it's been a great monitor so far for me. But I hear the AOC isn't bad either. Cheers!
I'm new here, watch a lot of reviews. I appreciate your sincerity, level headedness, good product footage, and for not trying to sell it (since lots of people get a cut from sales). liked and subbed.
I've been using this monitor for about a month and have very impressed. I'm coming from a Asus ROG pg278q and was interested in giving an ultrawide a try but didn't want to drop a bunch of cash . I mostly game on the PC its hooked up on and I'm glad I picked it up. NO issues in quality and the only thing i've noticed was the screen flicker w/Gsync enabled, but having used it both on and off, it comes up so infrequently it's a non issue. I only wish the height adjusted an inch or two higher. Appreciate the review
You're very welcome for the review, thanks for watching! I'm glad you're loving it as much as I am. Someone gave me a tip that fixed my G-Sync flickering. You have to go into Nvidia control panel and only enable full screen instead of windowed and full screen. I hope it works for you too! Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks friend, I make them myself! You can get them for free on Steam in the Wallpaper Engine workshop. Search "Leif Erikson" my user name if you want them :)
I'm so glad I came across this video. I decided to buy one, and couldn't be happier with it! Thanks so much for your review mate, I've subscribed to your channel now :)
Thanks for showcasing the PBP feature, could you try changing the output to 1770 x 1440 for each of the separate inputs? See whether it could help out with the "weird' stretching issue, as I'm interested in the PBP but not the black borders or the stretched out look. Appreciate it.
Thanks for a great review! It's easy to follow and get right to the point. Regarding the PBP, is it possible to change the screen size from 50/50 to 75/25?
@@clickbait9744 It's been maybe a month, and so far so good, coming from an IPS pannel i notice some difference, but speed, color and contrace seems really good, a bit of bleeding from the edge but only noticable in a dark room and black screen. Nothing bad to say about this monitor so far and it was the cheapest at for this size !
Im glad for people like you I work in our monitor industry, Ive had some people furious over 1 dead pixel, its so frustrating to explain to them that dead pixels are inevitable that is why there is an ISO standard or ISO 13406-2 to be exact that standardizes the amount of dead pixels before it can be considered for RMA
I'm sure you know from experience then. When manufacturing a product with millions of extremely small pixels, there is a very high chance that a few will become defective. Of course, I understand one's frustration with dead pixels if they don't understand this. But when it comes to 1440p or 4K monitors especially, having a few dead pixels will rarely disrupt immersion or entertainment since the pixels themselves are so tiny. Cheers to you and the monitor industry!
@@BACustomPCs thank you my friend, by the way in PBP mode you need to halve the horizontal resolution to make it fit properly in the monitor, intead of showing two full hd 1080p displays, you need to half the monitor's 3440x1440 resolution. Make it 1720x1440 and aspect ratio to 4:3 hehe
@@doodskie999 Thanks for letting me know! Another commenter said the same thing and that makes complete sense lol. If I do another monitor review I will make sure to use all the helpful tips I've received :)
This video was rly helpful thanks! Probs gonna buy it soon as it’s in stock in Australia. Gonna go with me first ever pc (3080 which I was super lucky and won it from msi, r5 5600x). Only question I have is, is there any glare? As I will be using it in a very well lit area. Great vid!
Thank you :) Congrats on your 3080, mate! You're a lucky one, that's for sure, will make one heck of a first PC! There isn't any serious glare from the screen, it has more of a flat(ish) finish so it really isn't all that reflective.
Like the review. I appreciate that you don't gloss over the negatives and address points made in a logical fashion. Just what I was looking for. I've seen some discussion and articles regarding the potential flickering issues and from what I can see avoiding it revolves mainly around keeping your framerate (consistently) above the LFC threshold which features like HDR and VRR can obviously impact not to mention the system hardware driving this many pixels. Having said that I am no expert and could be talking rubbish. I have one arriving tomorrow and will let you know my experience.
Thanks for the kind words! I'm no expert either, but I can tell you what worked for me. Per the video description, turning off HDR in Windows + changing the DisplayPort version from 1.4 to 1.2 in the monitor menu eliminated my G-Sync flicker. And if you use an HDMI cable instead of DP, the refresh rate will be capped at 100Hz. Looking forward to hearing your experience!
@@BACustomPCs Received it today after the first one got lost by Amazon so consider this my 3 hour review. Pretty happy so far, it's not perfect but I didn't expect it to be that. Coming from a 27" Dell Ultrasharp 2560x1440 IPS my main gripe is uniformity on flat colour washes (grey/black especially) and with some minor peripheral colour changes even on small viewing angle changes but this expected with the VA panel so not really a complaint. There's a little dark banding almost down the centre of the monitor but it's really not noticeable in normal use. Overall impressed after testing for dead/dark spots/ pixels - I didn't find any. After applying rtings ICC profile and recommended settings it looks great (it wasn't 'bad' before). Reducing the brightness and upping the contrast as well as minor RGB adjustments 48-46-47 (from 50-50-50) the colour is good. Running native resolution 144hz in Windows works great, I have yet to play games on it so that's the next port of call. The joystick is easy to use, sharpness is spot on with text. GSync is enabled with the 'not validated' warning in the control panel. Slightly worried about response time movement blurring (after the EIZO test) but time will tell in real world gaming. It's certainly going to stretch my 1080's legs more than the last monitor with like 30% more pixels to drive. For the price of £439 at the time of purchase I think this is good value overall. edit: congrats on 1k subs! edit2: picture mode should be available if HDR is disabled (which the feature is a bit of a gimmick anyway)
@@ataraxiauk Thanks for coming back and sharing your experience! I really appreciate your in-depth analysis thus far. I agree with you in saying that this monitor isn't perfect, but I think it's a darn good monitor for the price. I want to reiterate to a lot of viewers that it never was going to be flawless at this price, but a bargain for the features included. Also thanks for including your color settings. I've also found the colors to be satisfactory after some tweaking, of course not professional. Feel free to come back with any noteworthy or significant experiences you may have!
I'm still waiting for Hardware Unboxed to review this, as I want a bit more quantifiable data before making a purchase. There's no ultrawide at the moment that is quite as cheap as this one, and if it's on par with the other budget ultrawides... It seems like a no-brainer. From what I've been able to work out, most of the sub $1000 monitors are pretty much within margin of error in factors like colour accuracy, pixel response times, etc. So it seems to me that either you go budget VA, or you go high end IPS. The VA based ones that cost as much as (or nearly as much as) IPS based monitors seems to be mostly not worth the extra money. I have to admit though, if I buy this, and end up with such a large cluster of dim pixels, I'd probably just return it, as I wouldn't be able to ignore it once I'd seen it, and it would be a constant source of annoyance, simply know that I'd spent money on a new monitor, and it's "faulty" right off the bat.
I think that if this monitor is delivered completely flawless then it's more than worth the money. But it does seem that there are a decent amount of people who unfortunately received defective monitors, myself included, if only minor. So, with that being the case, ordering one of these does feel like somewhat of a gamble. According to NewEgg ratings alone, which is not a true representation of all buyers, the majority of people seem to have gotten a good, defective-free model. But still there's no way to guarantee that you'll be so lucky. I've noticed that the larger channels that have reviewed this monitor have all received defective-free panels and given positive reviews, but don't know if they are aware of the problems that others have had. Whichever monitor you end up going for, I hope you have a good experience!
@@BACustomPCs My big fear is, that if I get something too budget, and I place it next to my boyfriend's Asus ROG Swift 34" IPS, it'll end up feeling... Sub par. His is the first gen 100Hz model though, and I know ultrawides have come a long way since then, but IPS does tend to look a lot nicer than other panel types. I am limited in funds though, so well. We'll see what I end up with. This one does seem very tempting though. As far as I can tell, it uses the same panel as half a dozen other monitors of varying quality, probably the best being the Cooler Master GM34-CF, but that one isn't available here in Norway it seems.
@@rebeccaschade3987 Hahaha, I understand, you can't get shown up by the boyfriend! IPS panels tend to look a lot better, but are just now getting to the point where they have higher refresh rates (they also cost a premium). Let us know what you decide to go with, and good luck showing up the bf!
5:35 Great detailed review. I can see the scrolling of the backlight. does it turn on PWM backlighting when g-sync active? ratings guys said it was pwm flicker free. This shows otherwise.
When I shot this video I had HRD enabled and the wrong displayport version selected in the monitor menu settings (see description for more details). After changing these settings I haven't experienced any G-Sync flickering.
Been contemplating on getting this as the monitor for the pc I'm gonna build when it comes back in stock, saving up in the meantime. This review helped point out some of the questions I had about it, thank you for this well detailed video definitely getting a sub & like from me!
@@Coles-bootleg-vids Very true, even the 20 series cards have hiked up in price and are harder to find. As someone who builds and sells PCs, the GPU marketplace has been such a pain!
I bought this a while back thanks to your original review. TLDR; I love it. It's my first ultrawide and 1440p monitor, haven't found a single flaw with it except for the HDR. When turning it on in games, or via windows itself, the colors look so washed out and you cannot edit any of the color settings when HDR is activated. I haven't messed with the color settings of the monitor, everything is a it's default factory setting. Might try tweaking with the in the future but I doubt it.
Thanks for watching my reviews! I'm glad you're liking your monitor as much as I am :) HDR is a bit of a gimmick with panels that only utilize 8-bit color depth. HDR is really better used with 10-bit color (or higher), so really I doubt there is any benefit to turning it on. TBH I've had HDR turned on for the majority of the time I've had this panel, and with 10-bit color turned on in Nvidia control panel. I recently turned it off and I honestly couldn't see a difference! But I'm keeping it off since Picture Mode is inaccessible with HDR on. Thanks for commenting, cheers!
Awesome, in-depth review!! I'm reaalllyyy considering this monitor but I'm realllyyy hesitant coz of the issues I've heard of. Its also in stock here in Australia so that's nice
Thank you very much :) Hi to Australia, I've always wanted to visit! If you get one without any defects then I'd say it's totally worth it. I'm really enjoying mine. And if the price is still as good of a bargain in AUD then that's also a plus! It makes regular 16:9 monitors seem small now lol
Lance you considered the Dell DG271? Or the lg 950?. Am leaning toward the latter. For sub £400 the Dell DG is very tempting. I do like the idea of a 32+ inch for other things like movies etc.
This was a very helpful vid man! I just bought this panel. I wont get it in for a wk but ill back with you after i check it out. I have a old 20 inch now so anything is an upgrade lol
Thanks for a great review! It's easy to follow and get right to the point. Regarding the PBP, is it possible to change the screen size from 50/50 to 75/25?
It is possible, but PBP only has two options in the monitor settings, those being "full" and "Aspect." "Full" will stretch each input aspect ratio to fill both sides of the screen and "aspect" will use the aspect ratio of each input source. To achieve a 75/25 effect you would need to use the "aspect" setting and set one input resolution to 2580x1440 (for the 75% side) and the other input to 860x1440 (for the 25% side). This can be done by creating a custom resolution for each source in your GPU software, such as Nvidia control panel. Not as easy as some monitors, as they have presets for 75/25 PBP, but it can be done.
Quick Note : flickering can't be Gone even you're HDR OFF OR ON. I have this monitor tried everything No luck. If you're a normally casual gamer i would recommend that monitor. But for competitive try for 16;9 monitor. 21:9 is too big for FPS Games. Cheers for more you ask me
Great Review and very detailed! One like from me and 1 subscriber! After watching this review i'm more inclined to buy this monitor than Xiaomi Mi Curved 34 or Lenovo G34W-10 which are at the same price level here in Romania (500 dollars) Currently i'm using LG 34UM69G-B IPS 1ms Free-Sync 75Hz 2560*1080 but i think changing to this resolution and 144 hz will change everything in better...not only when playing games but also when browsing because of the smoothness. Also i don't think its a real issue moving back from an IPS to VA. Good Luck and we are waiting for more reviews from you!
Thanks for watching my review and BIG thanks for subbing!! :) Hello to Romania! You do have a nice monitor right now, but I can say myself that going from 1080p to 1440p does make a noticeable difference. Same with going from 75Hz to 144Hz. Good luck to you too, I hope you have a great experience when you do decide to upgrade! Cheers!
@@BACustomPCs I will not go through the trouble with sending mine back to get this then, thanks! Is this the norm on ultrawide? I tried an acer predator one 3-4 years ago and that one was not like that if I recall correctly. Granted, it had lots of other bad stuff with it
@@espenwoot I can't speak for all ultra-wides out there but I have seen at least a few that flatten out towards the edges. Looking to review more ultra-wides in the future, so I'll be checking to see which ones flatten out like that.
Got mine about a week ago , setup Newegg auto notify and immediately purchased it when I got the email notification. Now let me tell you I am coming from a G9 odyssey monitor which was 32:9 and an amazing Experience . However the G9 was to curved and consumed much of my desk and it had its own set of issues. So I returned it paid almost 1500$ for it . The G34WQC at just 409 shipped really impressed me the monitor is super light, has very punchy colors and offered me 144hz.I have no dead pixels however I can notice the backlight bleed on top and bottom of this monitor which is kind of of annoying .But I can deal with it . The speakers like you said suck but I don't use it for that. Didn't have any flickering issues using Gsync like others have complained about. Overall I'm very pleased with this monitor and will be keeping it . I have a 3080FE running with a 9900KF with 32gb with plenty of addition's and this monitor accommodates this setup very well. I will take your thoughts in consideration as far as removing the DP cable from out of the cable feeder to not yank on the cable/port. Gigabyte does not allow firmware updates ? My G9 did have an option for this hopefully they can improve on other things with this monitor. Ohhh and the cable out ports on this monitor suck I have to break my neck looking to plug the cables in .
Coming from a G9 is impressive! I'd bet you're one of the only people out there that is more happy with this monitor than the G9 haha. Also, very nice PC! I'm going to try my best to get ahold of the 3070 and Ryzen 5600X here in a few days. The cable passthrough is mostly fine, I'd just keep an eye on your cables while you adjust the height. As for the firmware, I doubt this panel will receive any updates. The only reason I say that is because there isn't a USB port on it. Unless it's possible to update the firmware through DP or HDMI, (I honestly don't know) I've always seen firmware updates through USB A or B. Thanks for leaving your thoughts and experiences!

@@squirtboxtagz4783 It's been great! I've loved going from 1080p to 1440p and the wide screen has been fantastic. Cyberpunk was a lot of fun to play on it. I would still recommend.
Were you able to utilize HDR and 144hz at the same time? I'm testing the G32QC and whenever I'm in 1440p, 165hz (or 120hz), with VRR on, my monitor defaults to 60hz when I turn on HDR in windows. Just curious if you had similar issue? Utilized dp cable that came with the monitor. Great review!
Thanks for watching! HDR will work at 144Hz with this panel, but when HDR is on, Picture Mode is locked on Standard and Black Equalizer is inaccessible. To be honest, HDR does very little, if anything at all, on this 8-bit panel, so I keep it off. Some users have different reports of HDR causing "washed out" colors or just making the colors look brighter. Having HDR on while G-Sync is enabled also causes a slight flicker. Unless the G32QC (or any monitor) is 10-bit color depth or higher, I'd recommend leaving HDR off, as it's really just a marketing gimmick. I'm also using the included DP cable and so far none of the settings have locked me to 60Hz. I hope this helps with your testing, good luck!
Hey good review. I can see that the colours are vibrant and pretty on this monitor. I would be using it with an Ergotron LX monitor arm, which supports up to 34" and 11kg. That said, did you try it with a monitor arm, and how much does the monitor weigh without its included stand? Thanks.
I'm not sure how much it weighs without the stand, but with the stand it weighs 8.5kg, so shave off a kilo or two for the stand. You should be just fine with your monitor arm if it will hold 11kg. I haven't tried it with a monitor arm myself, but that's something I want to do eventually! Thanks for watching :)
I was interested in this one, but research on Amazon, YT and other places showed that Quality Control at Gigabyte is not very good. Way too many models with dead pixels, a lot of backlight bleeding, etc. Not sure if I want to gamble and started looking into ASUS and LG as they definitely have much higher quality control.
Great video. Quick question, how noticeable is the GSync/FreeSync flicker and exactly what caused it. I am thinking on getting this monitor but GSync is really needed for me since I play games like Arma 3 that will have a hard time getting over 40-60FPS. You said FPS sensitive situations so would my example constitute that? Cheers!
Sure, no problem. I was having flickering due to having HDR enabled in Windows display settings. Since HDR is more or less a useless feature with this monitor (colors still look amazing either way), I have turned it off and re-enabled G-Sync. Everything looks great and I'm not getting a flicker anymore. The flickering was minimal at most anyways, not noticeable while playing, but I saw it when I was in game menus and times where there wasn't a lot of motion on the screen. I hope this helps!
@@BACustomPCs Ahh cheers. Yea, windows does not do a good job with HDR even on properly supported monitors (e.g. HDR 1000). Good to hear that G-Sync does in fact work properly. Just incase others ask about it might be a good idea to put this in the description. Keep up the good work!
I have this monitor a few munths now and so far i haven't got a single problem, no dead pixels anything the only anoying thing for me is since this is my room the light he produce while turned off is too much at night
Is it possible to split the screen or is it too small for that or does it not have the option? (LG have a 34" screen with this option)...Love this vid. Very well made. :)
It does feature PBP settings so you can split the screen between two inputs. You can see at 10:15 I did this with two 1920x1080 inputs. You could theoretically eliminate the black bars and fill the entire screen by setting a custom resolution for each input to 1720x1440, but I haven't tried it myself. Thanks for watching :)
@@AMortificare No, PBP is built into the monitor. You just need one input per screen via HDMI or Displayport. Can be done from a single graphics card or two separate systems :)
Nice review! I also am considering to buy this monitor. I'm developer so I work mostly with black theme editors like VS code or IntelliJ or console applications, I know that VA panel are prone black smearing. Could some please let me know if the smearing is noticeable when scrolling large text ?
Thanks for watching! I personally don't think the smearing/ghosting is very bad, but some people that have bought this monitor seem to think it is. It gets my by in fast-paced competitive gaming, so I would assume it wouldn't smear too bad for you when just scrolling text. I wish there was a better way to show you, but it's just one of those things that you have to see and decide for yourself.

Hey men new to the channel just subscribed love your content, I was wondering if you know the xiaomi 34 inch curved monitor and if you do which do you think is better and the money this or the xiaomi. In advance thanks
The Xiaomi uses the same 34" panel from Samsung that this monitor uses. So performance should be the exact same, just with different features in each monitor's UI. If you're torn between the two, perhaps look into the different features that each monitor offers and pick which one suits your needs. Or just go with whichever is cheaper and more available to you. Thanks for your support!!

Can't wait to use this monitor as soon as my pc rig is put together!!!
An excellent review, thank you for the unique perspective including the Newegg review references.
That's very kind, thanks a lot for watching :)

I bought that monitor in the end and its very good monitor, thank you for the video it helped me a lot to decide

I work in our monitor industry, Ive had some people furious over 1 dead pixel, its so frustrating to explain to them that dead pixels are inevitable that is why there is an ISO standard or ISO 13406-2 to be exact that standardizes the amount of dead pixels before it can be considered for RMA

If you have an overhead light near where your gonna place it there is some glare but it's manageable and nowhere near some of the others.
This monitor is sooo underrated 😧
It's been pretty good!
Backlight bleeding is honestly not an issue in most cases.
To me it's not noticeable on this monitor at all, unless you're looking at an all-black screen and looking for bleeding. Very pleased so far!
i think i am going to have pick this monitor in part thanks to your video an how you frame your video awesome job keep them coming !!!
@@rebeccaschade3987 The Samsung G7 is another option Rebecca but more expensive. I cant decide myself.
@@MauriceTarantulas It's not ultrawide, so to me, that's not an option.
Turn off HDR in Windows display setting if you want to get access to picture mode!

Is this monitor supports vesa mount? I hope you reply nice video btw.
Yes it does! It supports 100x100mm VESA mounts. I have mine mounted to the wall right now :)

@Daniel Crene Very glad to hear :)
Lance you considered the Dell DG271? Or the lg 950?. Am leaning toward the latter.
For sub £400 the Dell DG is very tempting. I do like the idea of a 32+ inch for other things like movies etc.
Freaking in love with Zelda! Thanks you included theme from the best game ever!
This was a very helpful vid man! I just bought this panel. I wont get it in for a wk but ill back with you after i check it out. I have a old 20 inch now so anything is an upgrade lol
Yup, great monitor! Been using it for about 3 weeks, and it's fantastic.
Glad you like it!
Any idea how to get it to show in Windows as its proper self. Not Generic PnP Monitor?
fast enough for competitive fps gaming?
I have this monitor tried everything
No luck. If you're a normally casual gamer i would recommend that monitor. But for competitive try for 16;9 monitor. 21:9 is too big for FPS Games. Cheers for more you ask me
You make really solid review videos, great work.
Thank you very much for watching! :)
Good luck to you too, I hope you have a great experience when you do decide to upgrade! Cheers!
Hello! Nice vid! Does this monitor «flatten out» as you reach the edges, like the samsung g5 34’’?
Yes it does. The curve starts ~4" from each edge.
@@BACustomPCs I will not go through the trouble with sending mine back to get this then, thanks! Is this the norm on ultrawide? I tried an acer predator one 3-4 years ago and that one was not like that if I recall correctly. Granted, it had lots of other bad stuff with it

That's extremely kind of you, thanks :)
@@BACustomPCs I wish someone did a true in-depth calibration on this thing just so i can dial things in .Don't get me wrong the picture looks great but some need some tweaks.
@@LikquidDutch I totally agree. There are color calibration tools that you can buy but decent ones seem to go for over $100. My wife was able to preorder this from B&H on 10/18 as a bday gift for me before they took thy option away and it now just says out of stock. A week after they changed the eta (to their warehouse) from 11/7 to unknown (per support representative). I am leaving my order in but dang I'm tired of waiting. How's your monitor now is it ok any feedback? I'm planning to buy it as soon as possible
@@squirtboxtagz4783 It's been great! I've loved going from 1080p to 1440p and the wide screen has been fantastic. Cyberpunk was a lot of fun to play on it. I would still recommend.
i already own one gigabyte monitor G32QC and im going to pick this one up fairly soon!
You just gained a sub my friend, great video!
got this monitor... i think for the price... it is the best value for money wide gaming monitor as of now...
Agreed, very pleased with my experience so far.
@@macgynan Good suggestion, I'll add it to the description. Good luck with your monitor and thanks for the comments!
Flicking only happens in loading screen on mine so I’m not worried about it
How is it still holding up any issue?
I have this monitor a few munths now and so far i haven't got a single problem, no dead pixels anything the only anoying thing for me is since this is my room the light he produce while turned off is too much at night
Ordered this from your recommendation, thanks.
I hope it serves you as well as it has me!
Is it worth picking Huawei mateview gt Orver Gigabyte g34wqc if the price is the same ? thanks great video.
@@BACustomPCs so i will need a separate software for it... :)
@@AMortificare No, PBP is built into the monitor. You just need one input per screen via HDMI or Displayport. Can be done from a single graphics card or two separate systems :)
@@BACustomPCs ahh i see :D i will try this when i get a hold on the screen def. worth buying! Thank you for helping out!
@@AMortificare Good luck, I hope you like it!
PRO REVIEW !!!
thank you so much
Glad you liked it, thanks for watching :)
Pretty nice video bro! ❤️
great review from you
but u didnt turned G-Sync on.
U have to sign that little box under point 3. that says: "enable settings for the selected display."
True, you aren't the first person to point this out. Many months ago I fixed this and G-Sync works just fine.
Fingers crossed.. just made my purchase..
I hope you like it!
I bought it too and i feel its a good monitor.
Colors arent the best but for home office and gaming i think i have the best of both worlds. Hi from México.
Your review was excelent 👍🏼 congrats
I'm very glad to hear that you're liking your monitor! Congrats on it! Thanks so much for watching my review :) If you aren't super satisfied with the colors, I'd recommend tweaking the colors via your graphics card software, like Nvidia control panel. I've done so and am pleased with the result (which I need to be because I do a lot of graphic design and illustration that requires decent accuracy). Hello to Mexico!! Cheers!
@@BACustomPCs I was wondering if you could give an example of the color settings that you used to make them more accurate?
@@JustAGuyWalking17 My color settings are Picture Mode on FPS preset with Black Equalizer on 10 and then in Nvidia control panel I have digital vibrance on 60%. Monitor brightness is 75. I'm not sure if this makes the colors accurate, per se, but they look great to me :) I hope this helps!
Hello! Can you tell me your choice of the following screen types? LG 34gl750 - Gigabyte G34WQC - Samsung lc34g55 - Cooler Master GM34-CW. Thank you very much :))
Hi! I can't vouch for any of these monitors except for the Gigabyte monitor since it's the only one I've actually used. But I can say that the Cooler Master and the Gigabyte monitors use the same panel from Samsung, so the performance between those two will probably be similar. The Gigabyte monitor has been really great for me! At the end of the day you should go with the monitor that is available to you and meets your needs and budget. I hope this helps!
Is that Gerudo Valley?!? Sick!!! 😎👌
Good, comprehensive review! Thanks.
On another note, what anamorphic lens/filter are you filming with?
Thanks for watching! I was using the anamorphic lens from Moment on my Pixel 3, using the FilMic Pro app to record / de-squeeze
@@BACustomPCs Nice! I looked at those for a while, but at the time I didn't have a phone that took clear enough video to justify it :P
@@GrizDrummer25 I really liked using Moment's lens, and the FilMic Pro app will unlock your phone camera's max potential in fps and resolution. Just kind of a group purchase since you need the lens + case + paid app.
@@BACustomPCs Nice. If I can find a case for OnePlus I might take another look at it ;)
Good stuff man. Subbed
Love your review, wish you the best and Im a subscriber now
Awesome, thanks so much for your support!! I wish you the best as well, cheers! :)
The audio is a little bit on the low side. I needed to crank up my volume to hear the voice over especially on the new egg reviews part. Overall, this review will really help me decide.
Thanks for the feedback. Have been working on audio quality, as it is different in the editor before final render. Thanks for watching!
What a great review! Love from Bangladesh
