//WHO AM I?
I'm Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.
I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job.

//FAQ
Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?
A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA.
Q: Can you make a living selling online?
A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.
Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?
A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there's any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.
Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?
A: I do. All my bills are covered, I'm able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.

I used to rush. It stressed me out. Now I chill out and take my time. I do much better. I used to try to be the first one there. Now I don’t care. Like you said we can’t be at every yard sale and not everyone is looking for the same stuff.
Honestly, I learn more new bolos from you than any of the other resell youtubers. Thank you.
The hoops are used for embroidery, cross stitch, needlepoint and other needle crafts. You put the fabric between the 2 hoops and tighten the knob or screw to make the fabric taught for easier stitching. Sometimes are used for wall art.
Ok, but what makes these particular embroidery hoops so expensive...
And sought after?
I don’t like to look things up at garage sales. If it’s cheap enough, I’ll take a gamble. At thrift stores I definitely take the time to scan items.
I had Garbage Pail cards growing up and I think they got thrown away at one point. Oh, the memories!
Let me tell you what my biggest profit has been off of, in the past decade... But I went to an estate sale and they had all these big cool glass bottles and I asked if they happened to have any old toy marbles, I was at a young couples sale, they looked at each other and laughed, told me to hold tight, they brought out thousands of vintage marbles, 10 thousand plus to be exact. I sold 1, yes 1 marble, made profit off all that I bought. Still have a couple thousand from that sale!. But every time I sale one it's pure profit! So don't pass up on old marbles, oh yeah one of their grandads worked for a marble factory up north somewhere and they were going to throw the marbles out! They was asking 10$ I gave them a good bit more $ for them... I didn't feel right taking all those marbles for 10 bucks. But if you do a little research, you'll quickly figure out which ones are valuable and which ones are not!
Biggest profit was a pair of used justin boots. "Rick grime" edition. $579
I've recently sold a handful of decent bibles, but the 2 best were Dakes annotated reference bible large print red letter in a black bonded leather 1968 3rd printing sold for 150. The other was a 1965 2nd printing in a burgundy genuine leather standard print sold for just under 300
Awesome bolo. The hoops are for hand embroidery the material being embroidered gets tightened when you put the smaller band in the felt keeps it still so you can stitch thru the fabric
Depends on the sale. If the prices are good, I will take my time and look up stuff that others ignore. If I walk into a sale and the prices are jacked up and the lady keeps telling people "There is a lot of history in that piece." I give it a quick look and move on. Those folks are selling memories, not stuff.
Boy do I look for queen embroidery hoops now! They are for hand embroidery, they hold the fabric and I only have cheap ones. I glance quickly at sales but then go back around slowly.
I need to go through my mom’s embroidery hoops! Holy moly! Thanks for the tips. :)
Good luck!!
Once 9 o’clock hits I slow down, but the first few hours I look less stuff up.
Honestly if I see any old books before 1900 I will take a look.
I take my time everywhere tbh. I just look up what I find interesting
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Love all your videos and your humble sweet personality 😊
My DUALIT made the video and now I’m famous. Haha we love your videos and have learned so much.
I'm the slow pull through yard saler type. I'm disabled and go in with my fold up camp stool, find a box or tub and go through it to the very bottom. Am always amazed by the little treasures I find!
I was just at my local pawn shop and there was a HUGE stash of garbage patch kids. Think ill go back tomorrow and double check fhe price he had set.
Early in the day, rush. After primetime hour, take time. Usually around 9am everything is picked over and that's when I lookup things.
A lot of great information as always. Thank you for the education
Appreciate the vids as always! You’ve taught me so many BOLOs and brands to look out for. Thanks for doing these!
Those are all great tips. Thanks
Thanks for the tips!😊
I sold KJV Dickson Holy Bible New Analytical Indexed Edition Genuine Morocco Leather 1950 edition for $70 on Poshmark, which surprised me, I really thought it would go on eBay. I got it for free at the Salvation Army.
Love your videos and I learn so much.
Thanks for the good info.
Love ur videos!
Thanks for such an informative video. Leep up good work..
thanks for these BOLO videos. I am a new seller and learn a lot from your channel. Thanks!!!
Great content. Thanks
Awesome video man
I don't really do garage sales unless I just happen to drive past one and they have clothing/toys for under $5 ea. Best case I buy something cheap and it is a gem to sell online. Worst case I buy something cheap and give it away or donate it to a thrift store. I don't do thrift stores despite working during the night and having 30+ within 50 miles. I do estate auctions (most Saturdays) and I am the guy buying rows of stuff looking for gems.
I am watching this and I felt my heart SINK.
Like 6 weeks ago I was at an estate auction and I seen a BOX of those Queen things. I picked up one and was like QUEEN? My brain went right to sewing machines. Threw it back in the box and started searching for a Queen/Jones/Singer old sewing machine. What really is bad is the stuff around that Box was like trash and I do not think it had a sale at all(I could have had the box for $1). Good chance that box is in a landfill right now.
Oh well can't save/research them all.
Herend Animal figurines never heard of them learned a new thing today thank you !!
looking good bro. Hope all is well!
Bibles and YEARBOOKS.
This was a great, informative vid. Lots of gems featured throughout.
I haven't gone picking in a long time. The whole 1099 thing killed it for me and the burnout was pretty bad. My entire apartment is pretty much a death pile now, haha.
That said, I rarely went to garage sales because I don't have a car. I usually went to thrift stores and I often took my time in those. It's amazing what you can find if you just look hard enough.
Great video. More please.
Yes great video
I definitely do a quick once over and double back to items that need a closer look. I do spend time at each of its a large sale.
English Latin Missals are great money makers
9:11 I take my time when it's a BIG BOY sale or if there is just LOTS of stuff that has stuff hidden in plain sight
One of the BOLOs that I always look for is Saladmaster pots and pans. I only found one once, but they sell for big money.
Thanks❤
I don't rush through a yard sale, but I also don't linger.
I randomly came across your channel this morning, and now seeing the Veggie tales stuff I got a flashback at this local thrift store I've seen so many veggie tales DVDs and books and VHS sealed and a bunch of themcand i looked at them, seeing they where from a church donation and I didnt get them but im 90% sure they are still there but oh boy am I going back there today! Ill keep you updated! I'm going to subscribe as well sending love from Florida
Good luck! I hope it's some of the good stuff.
I totally take my time, especially at estate sales. I may do a quick run through the house picking up anything obvious, but then after that I might spend hours there.
My best (most profitable) item was a vintage CARVER remote I paid $1 for and sold it for $130
My brother had 1000s of the garbage pail kids. Mom got mad because he refused to clean his room . She threw them in the bon fire!!
Ouch!
The story keepers religious dvds are good also.
The embroidery hoops are crazy! They’re used to stretch material taunt for needlepoint or cross stitch.
Taut
I picked up a Bradford Exhange numbered Coca Cola music carousel, lights and music work, but the gears inside are kind of a mess, it jumps and skips music unless you guide it along. Still a cool find for 5 bucks on the side of the road 😂
Could you do a video on things that make money that the thrift stores usually miss? One video you showed an ice cube (tube) tray that sold for over $30 new. I feel like I have a better chance at finding something like that, than actually trying to beat the competition and thrift store pricers!!
I would have to see what these actually sold for on a regular basis and how long they took to sell, not what they're listed for, before i bought used toasters. They feel like a hard sell. Good luck to those who choose to do it though!
I like your videos….love your voice.
Right?! He could have a whole career reading books for digital media!
Don't rush! My biggest find ever without compare was a box behind a bunch of stuff. That box contained 17 nes games some new in box. Once all sold they went for way over 100k total at heritage auctions.
Now that's what I call a find!
@@FlippingJunk It was, sealed new left bros, panic restaurant, duck tales 2 and Dino peak in near mint condition.
I have 2 late 1890 family bibles one is in rough shape
Wow the Veggie Tales stuff really surprised me
I have wanted to get into doing this but the area I live in is so poor that it seems most of the stuff I find at thrift is broken or just junk. Though I also have no clue how to research stuff I find to know if its worth selling.
Hey what video editing software do you use? Looks great.
I can only be at 1 garage sale first right? I had a seller tell me to make an offer, so I gathered my stuff and she clearly had prices IN her head…once she reached my cap of prices, I left stuff behind. Her husband Eyes about bugged out that she did that, but it was end of day and I didn’t have any money left lol
Hey I use Wondershare. It's not very advanced, but it works for the more simple style of videos I make.
easy money
Just sold Dake's Annotated Reference Bible for $75 + ship
I rush through, especially if there is a community sale.
PS, I always look up VeggieTales DVD/VHS, but I they're usually worth like $10
I like money!
me too
Sold a p Wilson club after months 😅
10:10 some people don't know that shell bidding is considered a wire fraud . a federal offense
The First satanic bible, that was my sale. I picked up a trunk full of esoteric books Oct 2022
Kinda wild if you just yt search queen bee embroidery hoop nothing relevant to these even comes up lol
If the sale has a good amount of potentially good items I take a bit more time, especially if they are still putting out items
Just recently sold a “godfather” bible for 900 it’s crazy
What app do you use to reference what things are priced?
That's the eBay app
@@nelo1285 thank you
eBay app. Filter searches by sold and completed.
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Imagine selling a Bible for $3,000 and still having the gall to charge calculated shipping of 6.95
I think it's just routine. I guarantee you I would, I would do book rate. I just get in a posting zone.
"what is up everyone, John Wick here, talking to you from my heavy base microphone"
Heh heh... eh... SMEG....
