Dude, JNCO is on my list of things to find. I remember my raver friends wearing those in the late 90s. You could hide a handle of booze and a small child in those pants.
Wicker and rattan is really big right now. You can still find it at thrift stores. I saw two rattan end tables and a coffee table. Whole thing was 29.95 at Goodwill.
I sold a wicker rattan shelf last week for $175 locally. Got it for $10 a month ago at an estate sale! I've gotten some solid board games too but nothing over $200. I've learned a ton from you Wick! Thanks
Some of those wicker items look exactly like some that were sold by K-Mart back in the late 70's. I was working at one of their stores then and bought several pieces. Don't have them now though.
I had scrubbing bubbles when they were out when you could just go to the store and buy them and they worked! This, they stopped selling it. There were lots of cleaning products you could spray in your shower and other certain places and it liked cleaned itself.
Not much makes me dig furiously through my death piles quite like you and one of your amazing BOLO videos. LOL!! I know I have some JNCO in that pile....somewhere.... :) I really love these. I learn so much and yea, it's a blast to hunt for the stuff. THANKS!
Real eye-openers. Would have walked right past the signal booster and the JNCO jeans. But the Saturn lamps stand out. Super cool and Art Deco. Last week found some Dungeons & Dragons tutorial guides from the 80s which are valuable.
I still have my Dark Tower game I got as a Christmas present back in the early ‘80s. I took it out a few years ago and it wasn’t working, but I think I can repair it. Not ready to let it go yet. I loved playing that game. So cool and well made. It really let you use your imagination in a unique way.
Didn't know Wick is a real name . Found some plates yesterday.. 12 days of Christmas made in Japan for Macy's in 1992, still in box. I guess not all decorative plates are bad
Oh another cool thing I found recently which I feel like you've talked about on your BOLO videos before was a sealed NIB Warhammer plastic model kit of a little church or chapel. Those kits can be good money even if they're open. Bought for $4 and sold for $100
It would be cool for you do a video on that role playing game stuff, bolos from that world... a lot of it probably just looks like goofy toys to most people @@FlippingJunk
Hey, awesome video! I sold a Jnco zip-up hoodie last year, in trashed condition, for $79.99. I found it at the bins, and it had a bleach stain, a cigarette burn hole, and a broken zipper. It still sold super fast. I bet you'll make a killing on yours.
One thing I stumbled into at a thrift store was pre-1970 Ben Cooper Halloween Costumes. Found a 1966 Marvel Captain America and a 1969 Hot Wheels Jack Wheeler for $32.50 each. The Captain America sold on auction for $410 and the Hot Wheels is at $68 currently. Knew nothing of these. BOLO
Here's a thing I found that reminds me of the kind of stuff you pick up Wick: a vintage Black and Decker "Handy Shortcut" Micro-Processor HMP30 - basically a little food processor, almost identical to a mini Cuisinart. I picked one up for $5 at GW complete in box. But for whatever reason, they sell pre-owned & complete for $35-40 on goodwill with some frequency. But even better than that, they part out real nice too - little plastic gear bit goes for $17.99, the blade parts go for $8-15, bowl/lid $8-10, etc.
Wow!! Great info! I actually have a tote of JNCO jeans and shorts and similar brands from my skateboarder son when he was a teenager. Guess i will be pulling those out!!
Pendleton Woolen Mills is rare, even in Cowboy country. I've gotten quite a bit of good Pendleton clothing, jackets, turtlenecks, scarfs... which I am keeping for myself. I always keep an eye out for those blankets though. Truly beautiful and I'd probably simply keep it and not even flip it.
Thanks for the bolos especially the Jnco jeans. Had no idea they were bringing that much but then 90s/Y2K seems hot. Pretty sure I have some items of that in my death pile house full of 90s surf wear. FYI, those baggy shorts they made were referred to as "hangers" and I would use that as a keyword when selling. Keep up the good work.
Thanks to you fine sir I’ve been looking for phase 10 dice and I actually finally found one at a scroungy flea market lol in my town. Paid $3 I think and less than a week sold on eBay for $33 plus shipping. ❤
Another awesome video. Those Saturn lamps are amazing!, I think I would also keep it if I found one. I have a couple of the Hudson Bay and Pendleton blankets, they were selling for really high prices in the 90s and dropped so I held on to mine. So glad to see they have finally gone up in value again. I store mine with lavender buds in sachet bags. I grow my own. Moths hate lavender. I have never seen a Grateful Dead one! I'm still in shock over the 12K price (marked down from 16?? 😳), I'm a Deadhead but mind blown 🤯I have a round wicker table with glass top in my living room and one of those dividers! I would never sell. Unless they get 12K then I would need to hire a guard to come with me to meet the buyer, ca$h only please! 🤣 Have you checked laser disk players? I could not believe what some are selling for. I need to check mine and see if I can make some decent money with it.
Hey Wick. You are one of our favorites on TH-cam. Do you make enough money from your videos? I think you should have millions of followers… I’m always impressed with how clean your house is…despite the piles of inventory you have. 😂Why not buy a place with a shop on it to free up living space?
Let's just say I make a lot more money reselling than on TH-cam lol. Maybe one day TH-cam will recommend my videos to more people. I'm ready to move to a larger more well equipped house, but the housing market is rough and there's not many good things available right now. Thanks for watching.

I'm not trying to be argumentative or anything like that, but I was a sponsored amateur skater in the mid '90s, and I did wear slightly baggy pants for the comfort in the leg and hip dept. I never did like the bell bottom look of the JNCO jeans and they would be impossible to skate in. I did see a lot of JNCO kids carrying skateboards as an accessory, but I wasn't the type to call others poseurs or anything like that. This is a long-winded post just to say that JNCO bell bottoms were too much for skating well; You have to see your feet and the board. Best of luck to you and good luck thrift hunting!

@@FlippingJunkyea they are Buddhist symbols of enlightenment, stolen and flipped backwards then used by the nazis. Not a lot of people know that that symbol is stolen and reused in a very evil way.
Stupid question from somebody who doesn't make videos, why do you (and most resellers making videos I watch) seem to have no clue how much you pay for stuff? I mean there is nothing preventing you from just talking to yourself when you are recording and saying "self note, price is $5 for such and such item that I got at thrift store" then when you look back at it during editing you can know exactly what price you paid and what store you bought it at. I'd love to see videos where you say "I KNOW the price I paid" rather than "I can't remember". Nobody has a perfect memory.
Well for this case it’s probably because he has backlogs of footage and most times his videos are from a month or longer ago and when you go to multiple thrift stores/sales every day it’s hard to remember details from that long ago. And it’s his style he prefers to only do voiceovers
For me it's because I deal with thousands of items a year and everything starts to blend together. Way too much time to go back and look at records for something I sold a year or two ago. I feel I remember a lot, and if I'm off it's only by a small amount. If I can't 100% remember I say so because people will get mad if I say I paid $1 but actually paid $2. Even if I sold the item for $100. They call me a scammer or a liar. Internet is a weird environment lol
Ask a manager or business owner to teach you how they do business and they'll be evasive or laugh at you. You should be thankful that these guys are telling their secrets on camera, personally I think they hurt other resellers because buyers won't want to pay up for rare items but will spend hundreds on an iPhone that cost $10 to make. How much we pay for items is our business not the consumers.
I understand how it may look to you. But as an experienced reseller, I often buy whole lots at estate sales. Because my accounting business model** doesn’t require it, I don’t keep track of the cost of individual items. Usually I’ll sell one or two items from the lot and know that I’ve recouped my outlay and don’t care whether I accept offers on the rest of the items once I’m into pure profit. Some items take years to sell, and by the time they do I have no idea what I paid. **(I’ve tracked my cost of goods for entire lots and report my earnings less expenses. That’s all I need.)
Dark Tower is not based on Kings books. I own 2 of the Original Games both complete and working. I have one of the towers on my shelf right next to me as i type this. I also own everything for the Return of Dark Tower, that game is damn good as well.

No relation to Stephen King. More of a standard 1980s Fantasy, Wizard, castle type of game. A unique way to leverage the D&D craze at the time.
