    🥛 OATMEAL INGREDIENTS
    1 cup quinoa
    2 cups unsweetened almond milk
    1 tablespoon maple syrup
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    TOPPINGS
    Fruits: Fresh fruits, dried fruits, freeze-dried fruits, frozen fruits or even fruit purees and jams.
    Nuts & Seeds: Try them whole, try them ground or add them as a nut butter.
    Cooked Grains: Just because it’s quinoa oatmeal doesn’t mean we can add other grains. You can mix the quinoa with oats or amaranth or other grains.
    Spices: Cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, pumpkin spice or ginger are all great choices for breakfast.
    Dairy: Try adding a splash of milk, creamer or yogurt for a creamier texture
    Protein Powder: If you’re using protein powders, stir it in when you’re fluffing the quinoa for best taste and consistency.

    I prepared it with "Organic Tricolor Quinoa" and by briefly heating the blueberries the taste developed fully and with various nuts, milk and yoghurt and coconut. Tomorrow I will try apple and peaches.
    As a main course with various vegetables fried in olive oil is my son's favorite dish. Thanks.

    I was gon have some grits with cinnamon, bananas and blueberries. Now I'll just switch those ingredients to some quinoa. Also some egg whites. Thanks!!

    I add cinnamon, apples and cloves boiling in water and lastly when the quinoa is cooked add almond milk and that’s it

    Im a beginner at cooking so I was totally lost by the instructions "bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes"
    Does this mean we have to turn off the heat after boiling and keep the lid on? Or do we keep it at low heat with the lid on? I tried that and the milk kept foaming out

      Cook it open for 15 mins turn of heat and put the lid on and let it sit for another 10 mins. I’d actually cook it longer as I like my oatmeal mushy.

      You should try millet bc millet is much healthier than both of these and it doesn’t cut your abdominal wall and cause bloating bc it has no lectins
