My Mac’s don’t even have a DVD anymore! …I use Lumix Flash units, they have the auto contacts. This cameras built in flash also works as a commander for their brand flash units.
I got a cheap flash unit bundled with the camera and never got it to work. It's supposed to be triggered by the hot shoe but none of the settings work. None of my computers have built-in DVD so I have external. Thanks for watching.
For the AC adapter-dummy battery, I bought one that is a fully decoded dummy battery with a coiled cable that has a USB-C input, and I can run it off a power bank.
There is a advanced operations manual on the dvd supplied with your kit also just to the right of the battery door you will find a small rubber door for the cord from the ac adapter accessory
In my examples I had not selected RAW for recording. The inability of options is inexplicable, even when I follow the procedures in the manual. Thanks for watching.
