@@Dan16673 derm is the specialty I’m most interested actually! Ya I know it’s a high paying area
Not sure why he called in. Like they gonna tell him it’s great to pay it off in 10-20 years and just live it up?
Common sense: Don't spend more than you have coming in. That just pressure on the family.
Living on 65k is a hard pill to swallow? I make 100k and have lived for years and years on less than 30k, some years 20k.
Living off 65k/yr is a hard pill to swallow? 😅
I love how they seemed very happy until they mentioned student loans 😂😅🤣
Another one "Delay pleasure for a Great Gain" love it.
So they have good jobs, you don't need a fancy house or cars until you pay off your debt.
This guy just needs to read Total Money Makeover. A lot of his questions are covered in the book.
Dave Ramsey representing Ukraine with that Adidas track attire
yes i know 65k is average salary in America but, with 300k it's not all that much specially if everyone around you makes that. Paying for private schools for kids, houses and cars it is not enough. I mean of course you want the best when you make good money.
After Dave yells at the caller about how broke he is, the caller still doesn’t sound convinced of how broke he and his wife are. Looking at Rachel’s face at the comeback line on 4:20 is hilarious 😂 “bless his heart”
If they have the right mindset they could knock that debt off in 2.5 - 3 years. Easy.
Plus life is unpredictable you never know when in a split second everything can change and one of you can no longer work due to accident or injury
Hahaha, don't hold back, Dave!
Thy talk about paying off debt so that they can invest but why not invest all that now living off 65k and paying off debt slower and it would be more than the 10 million bucks Dave is talking about… he brags about math till he refuses to use it
Dave yet again not considering taxes. Bad habit he constantly has
You really think Dave doesnt know about income tax lol.
Just don't pay them, problem solved.
It's just the mindset he's trying to instill in people. Easier to lay out monetary amounts during a 3 minute phone call vs going through each penny the caller's bring home.
why would you be scared of a 400k debt when you earn about 300k/year? . you can pay if off in 2,3 years max, it's nothing
Rice & Beans is the fastest route, period!
Scorched earth. Love it!❤️
That guy just does not want to live like nobody else. I can tell.
$250K to be an attorney? He is a sucker. Never forget, no matter what law school one goes to, when one passes the bar ALL are Attorneys at law. The difference is, want to be taught by practicing attorneys or law school professors who have never been in a court room.
I love how Dave doesn't understand 300K after taxes is more like 170K. 400k in student loans also gains interest 30K a year. It will take these people 10 years to pay this off if they do a good job
Wow student loan interest isn’t even deductible with their incomes so high.
45% in federal taxes? Florida does not have a state income tax. Please double check your numbers
Probably 240-260k
That’s still more than I earn. The taxes I mean. I don’t earn the tax burden amount. 🤫
Expats in USA have the adventage that they had their doctors/nurses/it/engeneers degrees for free in their countries of origin. When you are working on your debts, they are working on their welth.
When I hear Rachel talk it feels like a struggle🤔
Just start paying as fast as possible and live on less than half your income. Make sure you realize the taxpayers are not paying your loans. Do what Dave says.
Dave got on the Russian gangster track suit 😂😂😂
“We ain’t going to the grocery store, WE’RE BROKE!”
These calls with 100"s of thousands worth of student loan debt irritate me. It seems like every one of them are trying to find a way to not pay them! Why would a lawyer and Nurse anesthetist need to call in to find out how to pay it off??? Put your nose to the grindstone, live beneath your means and pay YOUR debt off that YOU signed up for!
