- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 6 พ.ย. 2023
- Join along as we get more projects on the John Deere 8820 prior to heading over to Fieldridge Farm to help them wrap up haylage. Then back to the combine to get the head on for the 1st time. Thanks for watching along.
I watch your vids every night, not always commenting, but I am here and liking it, so excited to see you combine, its like a milestone that we all been waiting for since the first sight of the farm🙂
You're not the only one bud. Everyday I'm waiting for duff to drop a vid. Been waiting for this moment since he said he bought a combine
Getting close Chris, G’job bud👌🏻
The red light is trans lube pressure. It should go off when you start moving. Cool old combine!
I love it when those 88's wake up. They spit and cough then smooth out. If it is cold they really put on a show...
Like “How dare you?”
Very happy for you mate, good job on getting it together for harvest.
Led lights are a major up grade. White light is great when in the corn field.
Combine is looking great can't wait to see it working
Saw a clip on his IG tonight...ole girl eats corn like a beast 😏
Great job !! Brother can’t wait to see it in the field
Looking good.those led lights be most satisfying.impressive
Take some waste oil and pour on your Gathering chains they will last 10 times longer once a day
When you get a chance, build a fold-down step just above the "8820" emblem right behind the cab. You will love it. I have one on my 8820. It's great for stepping up in the hopper.
Great idea
Well done, looks great.
Chris that was great enjoyed it thank you can't wait for next video and see all the work pay off really great thank you
👍👍
If you have any feeding issues on the head move the gathering chain paddles across from each other vs staggered like they are. Makes a big difference. 👍👍
We’re almost done with corn here in Minnesota.
Exciting! So cool to see the combine ready to go. Can't wait for the next video!
Hello Duffy I'm glad you are on your farm i love your show keep up the good work
LOOOOKS REEEAALLL GOOD!
Congratulations Chris.
Duffy, I understood what you said about duals and the header cart hitch. There's no telling where you are headed, and you are going to do what you are going to do. I'd make that hitch modifiable you might not always run duals on it or farm somewhere you can get in 18'wide. Hard to tell now what all opportunities will come your way. I hope many more than we can imagine. Good luck in all your endeavors, love your channel.
Bring harvest 2023 on, great work Chris.
Congrats, Chris. It's an amazingly huge accomplishment from where you were just 1 year ago. You have to feel awesome man. I know I feel great for you. I hope the 8820 works as planned when taking down the corn. Watching you bring an older machine back to life has been fun. Now to see her do her thing out in the fields is going to be great. Cheers buddy, I'm toasting toyour success with a big cup of coffee.
Thats a Unit! Looking good 👍
Duffy, you did it! Great!
Great to see the 8820 finally run, good job Chris. Hope you have a good harvest.
Nice 👍 cold start of the combine
Yes, I want to see that car buy it up and run. It looks great.
Great work....combine here we come
We’re a row cropper now I hope you change the OIl in the diesel engine on the combine after seeing that will come out of those drives that look like the original oil in the damn thing
Good looking combine!
You know, I didn’t like the intro for this season. But to be honest it grew on me. It only took me 11 months! 😂 Now I go around humming it. Thanks Duffy.
You are now watching the 2023 season of farming with Duffy ag
It makes me sad every time I see the Mack 🥵
Did you try to move the shelves in back before you start and set your fan speed?
I cant wait to see the 2024 intro...he'll have everything from trucking planting and combining and hopfully some wicked drone shots through out the whole intro. And he'll be able to pretty much make the entire thing right on his own land if he wanted to.👍
That is awesome Chris, keep going
hi Chris been watching you on your adventures for a while now and i am hooked on what you do great never say die attitude you show plus your dog is an absolute star .no nothing about farming and im watching from England so totally different from over here but cant wait to watch if the combine dose good for you all the very best and please keep the videos coming 👍👍👍👍
Eventually you will get better with hooking up ! I had three Twenty series Deeres ! And it's not a bad system!
When putting the coupler chains on remember to hold your tongue just right Chris...😂
Chris, take this and do what you want with it, that shield in front of the feeder house on the corn head is going to be nothing but trouble. Earlier in the fall I was running a case combine with a shield on the corn header similar to that and it collects a bunch of leaves and trash, it makes it a pain to see everything going on at the feeder house
Good videos brother! Actually have learned some good tips/ tricks from your videos
I'm happy for you man
Good job guys
Looking good duff
Amazing still chopping hay
Praying for a profitable harvest for you
If you want you can soak the two chains in a can of diesel fuel and if you loose one then you can use the old chains !!!
Chris get some rubber mats for the steps for yanko,to protect his paws.😘👍👏🙏🏻☘️🇮🇪🔨🔨🔨🔨well done Chris ,u doing good man Congrats.
The extra hose on the top of the feeder house actually ticks in under the feeder house. It slides down behind the roller chain and there is a hole in the bottom of the feeder house
I like the White tractor.
My dog has the same issue... If theres stickers or cactus... He'll find it... Lol
Chris please check Yenkos temp when he is shaking something might have bit him. Kisses Mr. Yenko. Nice looking combine it is bigger than I thought.
Does everyone engage the feeder house / head after the separator? On our 7700, the only time we ever used the electric clutch was in a last ditch effort not to plug the machine by stopping the feeder house to hopefully let the slog get through. Otherwise, we left it engaged and started the feeder house /head / separator all at once. It seems like a lot of extra wear on the electric clutch to engage and disengage it all the time.
On our 6620 always start the feeder house after the separator
@@jasonnehls1083 yes, but why do you do that?
I like the combine I like it a lot.
Be safe 👍🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽
Good stuff
My 8820 has that red light it does not go off it probably does but I don’t know it’s runs fine he’s been taking beans off with it since I’ve been born😊
Those light wire connectors the wires prongs easy pop out of the plastic connector. Lot smaller hole would be needed 💁♂️
How about them two White tractors at that farm! I love watching the Oliver collectors channels too!
I bet you are as a young boy on Christmas Eve 😊🙏🙏to you and your combine for a successful harvest Chris
Man that thing looks like a corn eating monster
The transmission oil light goes off when the combine is moving and comes on when you stop. Nothing wrong with it.
Why no Alf alfa hay in your area? My family grewn and harvested only Alf alfa for our milk cows. Are they feeding beef cows?
I'm surprised to see the roller chain doesn't use a master link.
No need, as it's held on by the collar that goes over it.
The collar keeps it in place. If it was linked it'd be a pain to take the head off and on.
That transmission light goes off once you start going fowards, and comes on when stop or go in reverse.
🚜🌽🌽
No master link, in the double coupler chain?
Not supposed to be
Will you eventually put a led light in the hopper area correct. She purrs like a kitten
Is it the trans oil light? My 7720 does that when I’m not moving and when I’m at low rpm. When running it goes out. Fluid is full. I don’t know why it does it.
Duffy I've ran krone chopper for well over 15 yrs. Reason chop or silage comes sluggishly out of chute is worn out accelor fan. Bearings blades wore out in accelorator
Those little handles on that panel like to vibrate open. I zip tied mine because they came loose and that panel damn near fell off.
Really close for the viewers
Are you planing on changing the lights on the head as well?
The card picker work I want to see it
Hey Chris, are you supposed to use a master link for those drive chains.
Nope designed to work just like he did it. And it will loosen up with use. Especially if he lubes it
lithium grease those chains Chris...
Fixed holes in cab roof?
Hi question do there plow fields I have notice there do a lot of discing unless am wrong
Do you have the chapper knives pulled out
Please buy a ballpeen Hammer
Will you show us all of your farm toys
please dont
why@@darylhamann2310
I think you're not making enough money growing corn, maybe you should grow marijuana, there seems to be a lot of money in it. 😊😊
