I tried to get the frame timing right in the recording, OBS isnt perfect. but yeah it would be better if the game wasn't so jank at higher frame rates. The physics get weird 🤪
@@ViinnePorreta hedge mod manager, it has codes build into it along with mod options. Once you have it installed it should be under codes labeled as '120 fps experimental'
i recorded the video at 120fps in obs using fractional fps, and then I went into adobe premiere and time stretched the video so it plays at 50% speed instead of 100% after its done being rendered. also used the 120fps mod in hedgemod manager thats kinda buggy with certain things like wall climbing
@@oshjames9648 I tried out the code in HMM, the game was ultimately just slowed down to ½ speed with a 60 FPS cap. I'm also using Proton on Linux to play the game if it matters.
@@coatlessali in-game? yeah you'll need to uncap your framerate (no 60fps cap) for it to work, also with proton i have no idea, that possibly could conflict with it but i wouldn't know.
@@coatlessali should be under "Codes"- Locked 120/144 fps (Experimental) by skyth and m&m inside of Hedge Mod Manager. I didn't have to tweak anything further, maybe try disabling vsync. the games configuration menu should have an option to set your refresh rate/resolution otherwise im not sure because the game defaults is locked 60fps unless you use the mod. www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Sonic_Generations
from my understanding its a trick to make the frames appear 120hz. when i originally recorded it the video was in 120fps, but youtube doesnt allow 120fps content so you have to do this instead for now
@@Gmodfan750 nah, the slowdown is intentional, read the description, this is a FPS mod that you use in hedgemod manager and I basically slowed down the footage so people on youtube can see high fps (if you have a 120hz monitor or higher)
