Why is Sonic Generations Getting Remastered?

- The hype train never ends. Sonic has had a game every year for the past 3. With Sonic frontiers in 2022, Sonic Superstars in 2023 and now the big new sonic title of the year is... a remaster of Sonic Generations. It brings up the question of why Sega would decide that this game should get a remaster above others like sonic unleashed, but the second part of this package may shed some light onto why. That being... Shadow the Hedgehog???
Music Used:
City Escape Act 1 - Sonic Generations
Title - Sonic Generations
All of Me - Shadow the Hedgehog
In the Groove - Sonic Adventure 2
Lovely Gate 3... for Egg Quarters - Sonic Adventure 2
Radical Highway - Sonic Adventure 2
Dive into the Mellow... Aquatic Mine - Sonic Adventure 2

I forgot about Sonic Jam. I can't believe I forgot about Sonic Jam.
is sonic jam considered a remaster?
i think it is more a
cool
emulator
thing
@flafmg. it is. They didn't emulate but ported the games to the Saturn and included a bunch of enhancements like difficulty modes, smoother gameplay and audio, Sonic World, and more.
oooh, i didnt know, i thought it was just emulating the games and adding some stuff in the rom or idk@@HonchoV1
Ngl it is the only sonic game I played
And I wanna play it on ps5 for nostailga I didn't want it myself but my dad bought it for me when I had my ps3 long time ago, even though I wanted cod and gta 4
I thought this was fake but it its......real😢😢😢
As much as people meme on Shadow’s game people don’t realize how out of context everything about it usually is. 99% of that game is non canon what if scenarios. The actual canon part is not just edgy for the sake of edge, and it’s actually a good representation of the character. Even directly sets up his arc in 06.
Exactly. There's a moment between Shadow and the Comander where he says that if everything he's saying is true, that he'll accept his fate after everything is over. And later during the hard mode missions, the commander apologizes and invites Shadow over for dinner and that he's a grandfather. The game has bad parts in it, but I think the good Shadow parts don't get talked about enough
Plus the whole game is full of translation errors and left out a lot of cultural context.
Example for cultural context: It's not uncommon for child characters in japanese media to curse. Sonic saying the word shit would not and actually *IS* not controvercial over there.
Example for misstranslation: ...basically the entire game. The native japanese version is entirely different in comparison to the american version. Probably the worst translation any Sonic game received ever.
Just gonna edit this in here for the people who made a response to my comment clearly without understanding what I was saying:
When I said that the translation team didn't take cultural context into account I obviously meant that they shouldn't translate swearing 1 to 1 from japanese to english. Different cultures=different standards.
To me, this was obvious. Why? Well, what else could I have meant by saying "they left out cultural context"? The only "place" they could leave cultural context out of is...the translation. Obviously.
It saddens me that this is actually something I have to explain. It should be so obvious but some people seem to struggle with the most simple things.
Other than that:
The best example for mistranslation is the "Where is that da~n 4th Chaos Emerald?"-scene. In japanese. Shadow of not swearing in that scene. It was a mistranslation.
Another edit:
Just a general response to the comments here because so many people seem to not understand what Shadow the Hedgehogs story is about and why it actually treats Shadow as a character pretty great...
The big thing about the Shadow in Shadow the Hedgehog is that he is NOT the Adventure 2 Shadow. He is a completely different character due to his amnesia. The Shadow from Adventure 2 is dead and he actually didn't get revived because Shadow himself never regains his memories...in the true ending he puts his whole past behind him, including Maria. Why does he do that? Because he doesn't have any attachments to Maria or his past. It's a story about living life to the fullest and not letting yourself get bound down by your past. It's a really interesting take on the whole amnesia topic because...his amnesia never gets cured. But he decides for himself that it doesn't even matter. He will live life to the fullest in his own way. Doesn't matter if he lost his memories or not.
If you want a more detailed explanation about this watch Pariah695's video about Shadow the Hedgehogs story. He explains in detail why most people just do not get the story of that game. And he also explains in detail how poorly it was translated into English.
@tadaokou4919 dawg you cannot expect every Sonic game to start cursing in localization just cause they do it in Japan. Such a 2009 opinion lol
Amazing...your comment is basically calling me stupid but it basically is just you showcasing how you can't put 1 and 1 together to form a senseable conclusion.
I said that the game was very poorly translated. It's basically a completely different story in japan. I also said they left a lot of culture context OUT of the translation. The cultural context is that curse words are pretty normal for child media in japan. What does that actually mean for the translation? Well, obviously you shouldn't translate curse words 1 to 1. That's the cultural context they were not thinking about.
If something goes in Japan it doesn't mean it goes in the west. That's part of the poor translation I was talking about. So...how about you actually start thinking about the words I wrote, "dawg"? Emberassing.
Though I do have to say that the west (mainly america) acts pretty childish about the whole use of curse words.
"Shadow said damn! How TERRIBLE!!"
Grow up. It's just a word.@@TheAnimatedGamer
Yeah but like, if 99% of the game is just dumb what ifs, what’s the point of that 99%? Why am I even bothering to play these parts of the game if they don’t effect anything?
“Will he wield a gun? Probably not.”
You underestimate my mods. Gun/swear voice patch pack here I come!
That's why the pc version is always definitive for any sonic game.
Where's that DAMN 4th mod? lol@@HonchoV1

I love that people are writing articles about how the sonic Fanbase is excited to see Maria die again lolol
Because what is even Shadow without him going through that tragedy?
Like honestly, people nowadays seems to have forgotten that Maria's death is shadow's entire purpose and existence into becoming who he was in SA2 and partly his own solo game

@@rundown3984 tbh that game doesnt need a remaster it just needs a port since everything they may have wanted to do with that game was most likely done since the entire game does not drop in quality at the rate other sonic games do when they need a remaster

@FidgetyAttic sonic unleashed is a super fun game, with a LOT of flaws.
Im hoping that between this Generations remaster and Sonic 3, fan reactions and profit from both projects will greenlight an Adventure 1 and 2 remake. Or an official Adventure 3
Both please.

Knuckles chaotix is the hardest game to obtain, that deserves a remaster using the retro engine.
You're right. Why didn't they add it to origins? Missed opportunity.
@@HonchoV1 Probably because of canonicity, as Chaotix didn't become canon to the series until they were "first" seen in Heroes.

They don't have the balls to rerelease Unleashed.
Nor do they have the will to make it better
Of course not bro

Current ST took almost 5 years to make Forces, the rock bottom of boost formula
@@Sukaiba69 Bro, I respect how insane your pfp is XD.
3:21 the only valid reaction to that cutscene
From a marketing standpoint, it's genius. Shadow is just as if not more popular than Sonic himself among the existing fandom, it gets to tie into the movie release even if only in regards to when it's coming out, and newer fans introduced to the series via the movie series can play Generations for the first time, getting them interested in other games in the series. I just really hope Sonic's campaign is given a more fleshed out story with new cutscenes. The original game feels very rushed in that one regard, as if they cut the story budget mid development to focus on polishing the stages themselves. It would also be nice if they could make the Time Eater fight less garbage.
No one plays Sonic for the story.
@@SaviorAssassin1996 You must be new to the Sonic community.
@@Crow_Rising No, I'm not.
@@SaviorAssassin1996 Then you should know by now that many, many people actually do play Sonic for the story, and that games such as the Adventure games, Rush and Rush Adventure, Unleashed, and more are specifically praised for their stories while others such as Sonic 06 and Sonic Forces are criticized in no small part due to it.
@@Crow_Rising I'm a gameplay person. By the way, there are Sonic fans out there willing to sacrifice the gameplay for story.
It’s easier to sell a remake of an already well received game than Shadow the Hedgehog 2.

"2 years, which isn't enough time to remake Sonic Adventure 2"
...SA2 was _made_ in 2 years
I was just estimating. Maybe they could do it. But I would want the remakes to have as much time as possible to be made.
game development takes way more time now, just redoing all the assets and getting the physics right would take 2 yaers, now just imagine putting it all togheter
SA2 also came after SA1.
Just think about it for a second or two.
@@DanielFerreira-ez8qd what did he mean by this
mom what did he mean by that
@@Lazypackmule SA2 got to have 2 years of dev time by virtue of being a sequel developed from SA1. That game took roughly 2 years of development aswell.
To remake either of those games would require a longer development time akin to making a whole new game today - because simply taking the source code wouldn't work, they would NEED to rebuild it from the ground up if they want to do any improvements at all.
So, basically 2+ years if we're thinking of a basic retread of sonic adventure 2. Any sort of legitimate technical, graphical improvements would easily push it to a 4-5 year development time to be done right.
Also, obviously worth reminding that those 2 years of development time for sonic adventure led to a lot of issues in that game. Even if 2 years was enough to recreate it, it would not be optimal for a remake to risk having the same issues.
Storybook remakes would be crazy
Those remakes can only be Switch, Playstation, and Pc as Microsoft has no motion controls.
@@MaoRattoPC has no motion controls too? Plus, Sega could just add a different control method in the Settings menu.
@@verticalflyingb737Me when I connect my joycons or ps5 controller to pc:
I just hope the "Episode Shadow" of this game is substantial enough instead of feeling like a half hour long dlc that they should've made for the original (seriously, I never even played Generations and I still think it's only dlc being a pinball table is such a ruthless blue balls) and lets the man use his Chaos powers freely, something he's not had in his playable repertoire since 06 which has mechanically left him as just Sonic but "He _roller skates!"_ as Prime Sonic would put it.
Edit, also Super Shadow, same thing as his Chaos powers, yeah they stuffed him into a set of mobile games, but in terms of things that actually matter Shadow's Super form has also been missing since 06, even IDW has yet to use it as far as I know even though its Metal Virus arc gave us the 2nd ever appearance of Super Silver.
All I want, all im begging for, is that it's actually fun to play.
I hope Mephiles makes a return because Generations is the only game that could of made it possible and make sense.
I see Black doom Reminding Shadow of where he came from and who he was meant to be
Meanwhile Mephiles will do a-little bit of the same thing, only trying to recall the o6 events but he more approaches and tries to break his morals.
HOT TAKE they should make a sequel to sonic 06 BUT make it how the devs wanted
That isnt really a hot take, the game has potential but execution was pretty bad. It does deserve either a sequel or rsmarter fixing everything wrong.
1:21 ok that was cool pun entirely intended

Unleashed should have gotten remastered…
This sounds like a nickel for the “Sega Questionable Decisions” jar at first, but I actually think (in addition to the reasons stated) they’re doing this for similar reasons to why HAL remade Return to Dream Land: follow-through.
Like Forgotten Land, Sonic Frontiers made a lot of new Sonic fans, and so they’re trying to follow-through while they have those new fans’ attention. Yeah, Sega already gave us Superstars and Dream Team, but why not maintain the momentum for just a little bit more with a port of the defining game in the previous style?
I’m more disappointed because I JUST beat Generations for the first time a few months back, and I don’t want to rebuy it for only the Shadow content when the game doesn’t look substantially better than its source game like RtDLDX did.
ChaosX is already doing sonic 06 and it is just a gem of a game
Let's be honest, Gens was the obvious first game to remaster. It takes by far the least effort to remaster it as the game still looks current gen today, it was just low res and could use native controller support for PC instead of using a settings launcher. Unleashed will take way more work to get functioning as the 360 and PS3 were different hardware from the PS4-5 or Xbox One-X. Being there's a PC version already made it even easier as the Xbox Series uses Direct X for rendering just like PC.
I'm not expecting the Shadow story to be the greatest. I can already see the physics looks pulled out of Frontiers and so far the actual stage layouts look pretty empty just with background fluff. It's the same thing the series has done for a while.
Would have killed for a sonic unleashed remastered, bruh maybe someday. Also nice video dude you cooked!
It's going to be the only boost game not re-released. it's a crime. And thanks!
just play unleashed project
Mark my words, you are going places sir! Love your ideas and edits!
I think it's my favorite game in the series, and my only criticism of the original was the lack of shadow lol so this is like a dream come true. Generations art style could look great in HDR, I'm hoping they implement it well. Also 4k in a locked 60fps would be great as well.
Generations is one of the most beloved Sonic games at least gameplay wise, so porting it to modern consoles will keep it accessible for future generations(Pun intended). Also, they’ve added Shadow as a playable character so they’ll be some extra fun to be had with getting to play as Sonic’s ultimate rival(Aside from Knuckles). Would like to see an additional rival fight or two for Sonic himself though. A boss fight against Classic or Modern Knuckles or Blaze would be super fun additions. And for Shadow himself, he should ABSOLUTELY get a proper Sonic boss fight for himself.
It comes off redudant if it is on PC though as it would mean. Just update the game or bundle it. The original engine so mods aren't hurt, while the remaster is a tumor. I want a remake of Sonic Heroes, just REMOVE HAVOK AND RENDERWARE FROM IT!
Do you even know what removing havok and renderware entails?
@@Die-Coughman Yes, but LibSMG64 exists. It depends how much time and effort is made to remove the renderware/havok engine parts. Project 06 emulates sonic 06's fairly well or even better display Havok being treated as more advanced.
I'm just hoping that if generation does well then unleashed will be remastered with its success.
I'm looking forward to trying this game because I was never able to play the original version, and because the Shadow part looks interesting for sure. Since it has been said that Nintendo's next console will be as powerful as the Plastation 4 and might get released early next year, I'll just wait and see if Sonic X Shadow Generations get's released on that console or not before I will try to perchase that game. I think that one of the main reasons why they currently aren't even thinking of doing a remake/remaster of Sonic 06, is because years ago they had already given Chaos X permission to make a fanmade Windows PC remake/remaster of that game which could become as much of an improved version as he'd want to make it be. That fanmade remake is currently almost complete and has been getting reviews that are very much positive ones.
If you're willing to pay for a full priced nintendo console thats *just* as powerful as a PS4... Why not get a PS5? All new sonic games will be on there as well.
Generations is already on PC though
The reason is because it’s a well received game that can’t be played on modern consoles. Plus with Sonic 3 movie being around the corner, the public interest in Shadow will be much higher so this game will sell more.
"What else we got?"
*Sonic '06 appears*
"NO"
Bro I just found this video after watching a 40 minute video essay on why P-06 (A Unity Sonic '06 remake) shows how good Sonic '06 could have been. I'm seriously convinced that all Sega would need to do in order to remaster Sonic '06 would be to basically absorb the fan project, which is about two-thirds done from what I understand, and finish it up. Just make ChaosX be in charge of whatever dev team sega assigns to the project and we would have a guarantied success.
Generations + Shadow? and Sonic Team is doing it? yeah that actually sounds pretty cool
considering what we had for origins, i think we can get them to give us more levels lol
"People are already criticizing the gameplay even though it is only 3 seconds long."
Yes. People judge the trailer. That's one part of what trailers are made for. How is it wrong to judge the stuff they actually want you to see & judge?
It's definitely not wrong to worry about the level design. But I feel like some people have already made up their minds on so little. But I know we all hope that our worries are proven wrong.
Fair enough.👍@@HonchoV1
My only concern is the movement looks straight out of Forces/Frontiers cyberspace levels.

Generations is really one of the best Sonic games it deserves a remaster
Yeah, why are we getting a remaster of Generations? Im still waiting for SEGA to reimagine Sonic Rush
Honestly I just want to see a Sonic '06 remake. The game deserves to be better. Not only that but new, updated ports of Unleashed that run at 60 FPS and ports of the other Sonic games we don't have access to on PC and modern consoles.
In fairness, a fan is already working on an 06 remake with positive results.
This editing is so good
When Generations came out, I was a broke kid and I’ve tried to find and afford to get this game but I unfortunately couldn’t find.
Now that I’m a grown man with money in his wallet and have access to get any game. Not only am I getting this game but also play the Shadow levels? I guess those 12 years were worth the wait.
Should’ve been Adventure 2 or Unleashed
please give us the 3ds Time Eater fight
Sure, it's still an autoscroller. But it's so much better
I like to imagine since Generations uses parts of many different games, if they ever decide to remaster other games they’ll have already existing assets for those games.
We get a remaster of a very well received game, they get an easier work load in the future.
I’m actually okay with that, although I think:
1: the remaster should be named “Sonic Generations Plus: Shadow’s Return.
2: there are other games that deserves games:
Sonic adventure (both 1 and 2)
Sonic Heroes
Shadow the Hedgehog
Sonic Unleashed
Sonic Origins

They should have done Secret Rings and Black Knight with controller support or motion controls (Not sure how it’ll work on Xbox as I don’t think it has motion controls unlike PS4/5 and Switch) or a Heroes remaster/remake or better yet Rush and Rush Adventure along side Rivals 1&2 as one game and call it Eggman Nega Saga or something like that
They need to remake Sonic O6
I don”t like Sonic kissing human part it just weird
i’m a playstation guy. i don’t have any immediate plans to get a pc, but would like a nice one some day. The only accessible way to play generations for me is on ps3. It kinda looks and runs way worse than i remember when i was 12 playing it on a crt (yea boi i had my ps3 hooked up to a crt). I’m really glad they’re re-releasing generations. It’s a bone for the Super Epic Console Enjoyers who don’t have a pc. One day. I can see the direction the industry is headed
I'm definitely not buying this if Shadow doesn't wield a gun
I feel like I'm in the minority with this but I don't like Shadow using a gun because he can shoot chaos spears already. Same with him using vehicles, he can already levitate and teleport. It feels edgy in a way that feels excessive, imo.
That is very wishful thinking and a bad excuse to not buy the game
@@risha5642That was never the point. Shadow doesn’t need guns, but he uses them because he likes them. Same with his air shoes. He’s fast on his own but prefers to skate with the air shoes. Plus they did make the original game fun.

This is the first I've found anyone ask for a Storybook series remaster. Those games are fundamentally flawed because they're entirely built around cheap motion control gimmicks. They're not "in desperate need of a remaster."
Yeah, more like remade.

I am having fun! The process feels tedious sometimes, but no matter the outcome, it feels worth it!
Well I liked Shadow the Hedgehog on my Xbox 360 (It’s playable and smooth).
I think a big reason why Sonic Generations is back is because it's already on PC in an engine they've designed to make it easy to port the game between systems. It won't take a lot of leg work bringing it to PS5 and Series X while Unleashed is the kind of game that back then utilized the hardware it was on in a specific way to get it to run at full speed and it would take a bit of effort to bring it to modern hardware if they were to do a direct port of the game.
Well im happy for it to comeback cause it was also made the year i was born and the first sonic game i played
I thought Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is mostly seen by fans as the best version? The only downgrades are the loss of DLC, the Dreamcast's hall effect sticks were way more accurate, removal of Big the Cat easter eggs, and slightly changed cutscenes. Otherwise Battle had the better cart racing, 2 player, the chao system that doesn't require the VMU for hidden stats nor checking stats, Gameboy connectivity, and the improved black market and kindergarten.
Maria's Death is a Canon Event.
I'd kill for Leviathan or Night Palace stages in Sonic Generations maaaaaan. Game was bad but those levels were ROCKING!!!
Good video and editing good shit bro
Thanks!
Why? Because it's the easiest game to remaster and make additional content for.
I agree with the sentiment of remaking Adventure 2. If SEGA gets a singular thing wrong they'll never hear the end of it. Generations was probably the safest bet when wanting to tie into the movie hype. I just really hope that the only thing they give to Gens is new levels and nothing else cause after Colors "Ultimate" I don't trust them to. Also I'm really worried about the story of the Shadow campaign. Hopeful, but worried.
3:57 that's such a clean line
1:44 thank GOD
There's a reason why Sonic Colors and now Sonic Generations are getting remastered: They're actually solid games.
I've said this for years: Sonic Team doesn't friggin' get Sonic. They insist on reinventing the wheel every time they make a new entry into the franchise, and it hasn't worked. Every single game they have made post-Adventure 2 has been a miss, for the most part. Yes, they've had some fun moments in each of them (Well, except for Sonic '06, which is just insane that they even considered releasing it in the state it was), but with the exception of Sonic Mania, most of the post-SA2 games have been really, really rough. Hell, Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 haven't aged particularly well, either. I love those games, but they're hard to play through nowadays without a heavy nostalgia filter.
It's time for Sonic Team to do something else and let a competent group of developers make a Sonic game again. When nearly every game you make is a dud that harms the reputation of the franchise, it's time to hang it up and let someone else develop something. I don't know if it's Sega giving unrealistic expectations for deadlines or what, but whatever they're doing is not working.
Answer: Why not?
Because we can't play it on Android but now we can by emulation the switch version
Because its one of the best sonic games, and it NEEDS it because its stuck on previous gen consoles. Simple as that
Uhh I can play it at 4K 60fps on Xbox Series X or just plain 4K on Xbox one X
Not only it's the best received 3d sonic game, it's the one that probably has the best controls and best visuals, but It's honestly too short, so I'm glad that they are not only remastering it, but adding new content with shadow and its levels, more sonic generations its just more good, back when this game was on its prime, I was a happy adolescent playing the same levels over and over, until I discovered modding, but now as a 25yo who doesn't really care about sonic anymore, I will still probably play this game again with the new content... I hope it holds the test of time.
I'm begging Sega to make a Silver game, he'd easily be the most interesting gameplay wise if they used frontiers as a base.
Silver has so much potential and they're wasting him, what has he done beyond his introductory game? Like, seriously, the only thing I can think of is a mediocre boss fight in generations (though tbf all boss fights in it kinda sucked)
I'd also love a spiritual successer to 06 where all three hedgehogs had their own story that collides
Where is that DAMN Sonic Adventure remake?
I think you're probably right about Sonic Team steering clear of SA1/2 just because they know they are likely to disappoint without the proper time and energy put behind it, even if I am a little dubious about them having that kind of restraint at times.
Short answer Sega is playing it safe by remastering something we did like instead of trying to make something new because they rarely make anything good as of recently
The reason why sonic generations is getting remastered is because of sonics upcoming anniversary in 2024
I would actually love to see the 3DS levels get ported into this remaster as a special unlock for beating the campaign, maybe a huge tweak for Modern sonic’s levels, and then you basically got more content to play with, therefore more playtime.
would've loved sonic 06 completely remade and expanded. That game was so rushed and undercooked it deserves not only more time to develop properly but also to be expanded and finally be what it's supposed to be with less boring hub worlds and repaired physics so it's snappier. Expanding the story would've be a need at this point too
The best thing about it is how every fan is genuinely hoping for maria to be shot again
1:19 I AM AT ALDI!!!
8.41k sub. the real life bits absolutely elevate this video.
Pretty sure the "X" is silent. Japan tends to do that with some anime like "Spy X Family" and "Hunter X Hunter".
I think the reason why they are remastering it is because fans actually enjoy it and they’re trying to make more money within remastering it
A proper remake of Sonic 06 would probably be the best Sonic game ever. Add in all the cut content, tweak the… problematic… elements of the story, fix the glitches. Perfection
Things I realized in this video……
1. Why sonic generations is getting a remaster
2. The sonic colors remaster is apparently hated
3. No gun :(

So a few days ago, a persona leaker who leaked projects such as Persona 3 reload said that there is a SEGA wide initiative to remaster as many projects as possible. This could explain why Generations is getting remastered.
I wanted Sonic Boom or Lost world Unleashed
Be grateful that they even bothered to give Shadow SOMETHING to work with that havent been properly utilised since 06
Sure my main gripe is that it isnt its own game, the frontiers style isnt returning and his side of the story is just a fraction of the whole game
but - at least its better than none at all

How can a Sonic fan want the story book games remastered rather than the adventure games?
I want both and was short-sighted to say remaster when both should just get remakes.
The Sonic adventure games should be remaster
Unleashed deserves remaster
As much as I love shadow, the difference between Sonic gameplay and Shadow gameplay in ANY game outside of Sonic 06, is that Shadow is black.
That's it. He boosts like Sonic, homing attacks like Sonic, he's just a reskin, honestly, the 3DS version gave us stages from Shadow's side (Bio Hazard, Radical Highway) and Shadow is already in both versions, so it's not like they're even making a new model or anything.
Gonna stick to Shadow the Hedgehog personally.
It's been 10 years since i interacted with this community and yall are still talking about Sonic Adventure remakes and sequels.
that just shows how beloved SA1 and SA2 are, and how much potential a hypothetical remake has... if SEGA doesn't release a rushed and under-budgeted mess, which is probably already too much to ask
In terms of doing this instead of Unleashed, it's way safer
If this game is really successful I genuinely believe we could get an Unleashed remaster, but Sega isn't going to make one without knowing if people really want these kind of ports, and generations would likely sell more anyway
Let's just hope they don't make a mess of it.
5:44 This. *EXACTLY* this. Every Sonic game in the past half decade have always had that one big catch that makes the experience painful despite everything else seeming promising.
Forces - You know what happened.
Origins - Jun Senoue's handling of recreating Sonic 3's Prototype/PC Tracks to replace MJ/Brad Buxer's Tracks.
Origins Plus - Amy and a bunch of Game Gear games does not justify the price. And the issues with Origins weren't fixed.
Superstars - June Senoue again, the bosses and some of the level design. Really should've brought the Mania team back for this and given them creative freedom.
I want to bring up Frontiers, but I barely touched it because I can't get adjusted to its gameplay. That's my problem with it, I guess - I'm just terrible at it. Whatever genuine issues there are, though, fans seem to like it.
God, just...would it honestly *KILL* SEGA to just not have such a glaring issue in a game for once?
