Iris character having two Dad's I think was just to mirror how Barry has two Dad's on the show. John Barrowman's character Cutter's last name was close to Merlyn and his son's name was Tommy. There are a handful of little easter eggs like that in the episode. It's a very enjoyable episode.
Hell yeah, overall i loved it. And well i guess i didnt think of it as Barry having 2 dads until now that youve mentioned it. Also it was interesting seeing Barrowman not having a husband as hes gay in real life but again they havent given him a wife as well but if they would, it would be interesting to see who it would be and i would love to see felicity in that position in that 1 episode hahaha. Also i can give you a little spoiler (youll be glad if you watch supergirl) that we wil be seeing the Music Meister again if im not mistaken.
