When Thea and Moira were proud of him, i think Oliver felt that whatever he was doing with his mission, he was doing it right and felt relieved. And who wouldn’t, when the 2 most important women in your life before marriage are proud of you.
You have to get by the "Can't anyone see that Clark Kent is Superman with glasses on?" thing with The Arrow too. But hell, it's fantasy, right?
It’s demeaned with Superman. So you can’t really say anything there. With Oliver it’s different because he litteraly came back from an island and then the arrow sprouted and now Oliver is more tough. It always annoyed me but still makes somewhat sense remembering that he was a snotty rich kid before.

Sara was traint by the league
Thea was traint by malcolm merlyn who was the leader of the league of assassins
Laurel had 2 weeks of boxing training and acted like she was the shit
