      The only annoying part I have noticed is the surging when you're rocking to or from the trail. Otherwise, wheeling without it is strange at this point. LOL.

    • @WRECKEDGEAR
      @WRECKEDGEAR  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Water helps a lot!!! I would for sure try it. its not much work to do it just to test it. You will pull over obstacles way easier.

    • @wreckedgearjess
      @wreckedgearjess ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Try your new set up without water, then go back and try the same trail/obstacle with water.
      As long as the amount of water you put in your tires is good, you will love it.

    • @wreckedgearjess
      @wreckedgearjess ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its really a good amount. Not too much and enough to keep that front end down.... Mostly. haha!
      The connection to the rocks is incomparable! We are loving the Red Labels.

    I've been thinking about doing this for the last year plus - really paranoid that I'll find out quickly that my D-60 with chromo outers will succumb quickly with 42" stickies...do you guys add any washer fluid to lower freezing temp? Removing a tire and putting it back on could be a challenge as well

    • @WRECKEDGEAR
      @WRECKEDGEAR  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Changing a tire is for sure much harder and a pain but the added performance is well worth the extra pain in the but. Being in AZ we really don't have to worry about them freezing but if we were up north or somewhere cold we would for sure us that or something similar to keep them from freezing.

  • @Burke_Motorsports
    @Burke_Motorsports ปีที่แล้ว +3

    So straight water? Like out the garden hose? For some reason I had it in me head as it being some kind of calcium solution.

    • @WRECKEDGEAR
      @WRECKEDGEAR  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Straight water for us SW wheelers. If you were somewhere cold I could for sure see adding radiator fluid to keep it from freezing.

    • @wreckedgearjess
      @wreckedgearjess ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah luckily where we live its not a concern for the water to freeze in the tires. But i think he mentioned you can also use Lead Shot and Steel Shot instead of water; or even a mix.

    • @Burke_Motorsports
      @Burke_Motorsports ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@wreckedgearjess We grew up drinking out the garden hose, so must be good for this particular case!

      Pink rv antifreeze is the best radiator fluid will rot the tire just like it does radiator hoses

  • @rubberduckyTJ
    @rubberduckyTJ 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    old video oh well bump the algorythm.
    can you expand some more on, does that trick get "all" the water out? like if i wanted to go back to road driving, can i just pressurize and dump a few times? or do i need to unseat.
    and road driving, how is it around town? any first hand experience? obviously no highway, but 35-45 mph..?

  • @bmxchangedmylife6155
    @bmxchangedmylife6155 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    What air pressure do you run with the water?

    • @WRECKEDGEAR
      @WRECKEDGEAR  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I run same pressure as without. BFGs I run 12 in front and 10 in the rear. The old TSLs I ran 6 in front 4 in the rear.

    • @wreckedgearjess
      @wreckedgearjess ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Such a good question and one I never considered until we began filling the tires with water. 💦💦

  • @dwaynemartin5174

    I cheated I drilled my rims and put radiator drains across from the valve steam

    • @WRECKEDGEAR
      @WRECKEDGEAR  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats a rad hack! Luckily we are in AZ so we dont need to run radiator fluid.
