Good report. Thanks for your reports. My wife and I had a productive weekend last week coming down there following your tips. We did see some carp but they were either singles or group of 5 or less. They were not the giant schools of a few years ago. We were so happy to see the lake coming back.
Gotta love that Boosa Shaky worm and the Boosa ribbon tail on a shaky head or swing head. I live in central Texas and these fish been loving that new plastic from 6th Sense!!
Awesome thanks! A few things I’ve noticed is the shad population is absolutely booming which is not helping anglers but great for the bass, I have also noticed fewer carp on the LiveScope which is great and I have caught piles of sauger chasing smallies. After the water hit 70 degrees this year the bite has really eluded me!?
Go report these dry years are going to help the grass in all the Tennessee river system. When we had all the grass in the lake we had dry year no flooding. A lot of people said the TVA was spraying the lake and the carp was The big decline of the lake Actually, it was year after year of high water and fishing pressure Hi water conditions killed the grass and consecutive years of hardly no spawn, you and I both live here do you know exactly what I’m talking about?😊

A lot of great tips. 👍👍
Great report. I always enjoy them since I live by Birdsong Creek.
Great job.
Boy, it's depressing that the 2 top baits are a drop shot and a blade bait.
I am so glad I'm in Florida....

I’m usually off the river by 9:30.. Seems like the fishing got better in the 5-10 foot range here around Perryville

Do you fish with subscribers that live in Ky?
I fished this lake in 2019 and I saw a very large contingent of carp on the northern end of that lake.
