Kentucky Lake BFL Practice With Keith Amerson September 29th 2023

Kentucky Lake is making a comeback!!! I was able to jump in the boat with Keith Amerson and practice for the Major League Fishing BFL bass tournament. We focused on offshore shell bars with a variety of baits. Fall fishing can be tough on the Tennessee River but Keith put together a solid plan.

I’ve actually drawn Keith 3 different times in a BFL. I drew him the first BFL I ever fished. I also cashed my first check out of the back of his boat. He’s a great guy!

No. I keep it fairly tight but not locked down except for frog fishing with braid

I was 20 miles north of you on the 30th. Buddy and I were caught a bunch of 1-2.5 pounds on lizards and crankbait. The 2.5 was off a Carolina rig 20 foot down. And there was like 4 tournaments that weekend
