That sequence always reminds me of the conversation with Bill's sister, Sister Nancy Murray, OP, about why she stopped watching her brother's films after Groundhog Day. The sequence of him just repeatedly attempting to bring his own life to an unnatural end was just too traumatic for her, and I can definitely understand that.
@@imustconsultwiththeeldergo5906 I wouldn't say it ALL sucked, by they definitely dropped the ball - very underwhelming compared to this one. IMO they should've done the same movie with the same timeline but with a different group in a different part of the world.
fun facts The "Zombie Kill of the Week" was leftover from the script's origin as a television pilot. Every weekly episode would have a Zombie Kill of the Week performed by characters on the show. Patrick Swayze was offered a cameo role as a zombie before his cancer diagnosis. His scene would have parodied other Swayze movies like Ghost and Dirty Dancing. Bill Murray did not originally have any lines after he is shot by Columbus. The Garfield line was improvised by Murray.

Good choice! I think I mentioned it once before, but I would love it if you guys reacted to love and monsters with Dylan O’Brien. Incredible CGI mixed with great practical sets and effects, and a great story.
I watched this during the time I was getting more into movies, and as nerdy 17-year old, I got so mad when Tallahassee cock-blocked Columbus. Also, after the pandemic, I found "I avoided other people like they were zombies even before they were zombies. Now that they're all zombies... I kinda miss people" surprisingly relatable.
A lot of us discovered how little we actually needed other people during those two years. I moved out of the city and got a bunch of jobs at a sawmill, a slaughterhouse, and on a farm. I think I only met five people the whole time.😅
Oh heeeell yeah. I'm here all day for zombies and Woody Harelson! Post edit: I didn't wait for the question. Weapon of choice? You can never have one. First, a shotgun, but not the break action like in the movie, takes too long to reload. Fun fact: Pacific Play Land was filmed at Wild Adventures in Clyattville, GA. It’s about 15 minutes from where I live and I remember when they closed it to film this. They asked a lot of locals to play zombie extras, it was really cool!
Yeah, I spotted some Newnan GA backgrounds, and that double tap lady at the beginning was up at GSU in Atlanta. It's the same area where they shot that one scene in The Walking Dead. Apparently, GA is more than willing to shut down large sections of roads for shooting movies.
NO WAY !!! i LOVE this movie, i watch it every Spooktober x) I need to practice my sword skills in case of zombie apocalypse Can't wait for Zombieland II reaction
I clicked this as SOON as I could! And the reaction did not disappoint. I love y'all's responses to the movie (and to each other!) This has to be one of my very favorite zombie movies. The gritty, gnarly violence countered with just straight up nonstop comedy - and yet somehow heartwarming?! Basically it's a perfect movie. 😂
One of my favorite movies for entertainment and fun…one of those flicks you can throw on at any time and vibe. Holidays, while cleaning, late night, movie nights and more…and although not a movie meant to out perform any genre or standard, awesome performances by all. Looks natural and effortless and looks like they had a blast filming too
It is always amazing seeing Abigail Breslin all grown up. To me she will always be little Bo from Signs and ask for a glass of water because there is a monster outside her room. 😅🥰
OMG OMG RIGHT?! I thought that was just me (Denise) because in my head she's eternally that talented tiny human! Now she's all grown up and badass and so talented!

I love my zombie movies and this is one i regularly rewatch too because its just so awesome 😄 i love Woody Harrelson in this. I still qutoe stuff from this movie lol Woody saying "That'll Do Pig" as a goodbye will forever live rent free in my mind and always make me laugh 😂 This movie and Shaun of the dead are 2 just classic zombie comedies and top tier movies imo 😄
Son of bitch that was gonna be my choice and was just scrolling through to see if anyone else posted yet. 😅 oh well second choice would be a bow with explosive tip arrow like in Rambo II
Couldn’t agree more the design of the zombies was so well done and was perfectly executed and balanced with the comedy and serious plot points as well as the fun action , this couldn’t have been better casted. Tallahassee is probably top 10 characters of all time for me his humor and confidence as well as his pure understandable hate for zombies all those elements made his character that much more complex and interesting. As for the ladies the way they hassled before zombie land was super smart made me think if this kind of trick would actually work this smoothly in real life , I guess it might if the person being scammed haven’t watched zombie land yet 😂 , thanks guys this was an epic reaction.
My weapon of choice would be a spear with a crosspiece. They're easy to make, relatively easy to use compared to other weapons, require less rare materials than other weapons, don't require ammo, and most importantly can keep zombies at a distance and minimize your chances of being bitten. Edit: i wish we can post photos in yt comments, but that'll get out of hand real quick.
When I first saw this, I had never heard of Emma Stone. I said, “Oh, my God! Watch this girls career. She is going to win an Oscar someday! (I said the same thing about Natalie Portman in “Beautiful Girls.”) This movie starts in Garland, Texas. In the theater we all screamed because we were in Garland, Texas! I taught marching band color guard at North Garland HS, across the street from where they started the film. Who would have thought that town would make it to the silver screen! ✨🤣✨
For the record..the reaction when Woody Harrelson´s character meets Bill Murray is the ONLY legitimate reaction any of us would have if we were to meet Bill Murray
Zombieland is an amazing movie. Jesse Eisenberg was better in the movie for the role Columbus. He was smart and alert. He was better in Zombeland than Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice. He was the worst as Lex Luthor in the DCEU. Woody Harrelson was a survivor. Abigail Breslin and Emma Stone were awesome. They were able to survive in Zombieland. They met Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson. And they became a cool team.
I’ve watched this movie for most of my life… and just now realized that the guy in the gas station bathroom, who gets attacked from under the stall at the beginning, is the same guy the girls sold a fake ring to 😂
Weapon of choice? Intuition, the brain. Be aware of your surroundings. The more you use your head the less you have to use any handheld tool. Minimize the threats requiring the handheld tool.
omg horror comedy is amazing when done right....y'all have to watch 'Shaun Of The Dead'....we wouldn't have 'Zombieland' without it....'Slither' is another amazing horror comedy movie you have to watch as well....'The Menu' & 'Ready Or Not' don't get the love they deserve
I was gonna give a 'like' at the end of the video anyways since I enjoyed the reaction, but hearing you'd go to the ends of the earth for Reese's just made me hit it earlier in unity, lmao. My man.
Y'all really never miss with these, another of the GOATs! Weapon of choice is actually really tough, though I'm probably with Columbus on the double barrel for practicality sake. Sure it'll run out of ammo eventually, but even less parts that can malfunction than a pump. Probably pull a Kyle Reese and cut down the barrels for easier handling. Unironically would probably use a trash can lid or something for melee lol
The 2000s were rife with great comedies and this was no exception. One of my favorite movies and I never even saw this in theaters to have the nostalgia boost - Tallahassee is one of Woody's best characters for sure too.
Great reaction like always, Love this movie. And a fun-fact, this script was originally written as a TV pilot for a series but the network didnt bought it, so it was turned into a movie script. Had it been a series we would've found out more of Columbus' rules as it went along and had a different Zombie Kill of the Week for each new episode. It also explains why Little Rock and Wichita, who had been shown to be very smart throughout the movie would all of sudden turn stupid and not realize that turning on the amusement park would attract every zombie in the area. They didn't have a "movie ending" in the original TV script. So this was put together just to rush the movie out.
Omg you don’t understand how excited I am to see Denise reacting to this , my lunch is ready about to watch my favorite people on YT react to one of the funniest zombie movies ever made. Luv U guys so much ❤

Absolutely agreed, this movie is just pure fun and gore from start to finish! Absolutely love it!
aww the best part of the bill murray meet up got cut!
"You think you might pull through?"
".................no." lmaoooo
“That’s... that’s still tender”
The long exhale that Bill Murray lets out is so good too
Fun fact: Pacific Play Land was filmed at Wild Adventures in Clyattville, GA.
NO WAY !!! i LOVE this movie, i watch it every Spooktober x)
I need to practice my sword skills in case of zombie apocalypse
Can't wait for Zombieland II reaction
A sword!? Ah that would be so cool. Make sure to keep it sharp though, it can’t get stuck inside an undead 😂❤️
28:15 its funny Woody Harrison and bill Murray played in the movie Kingpin together
Honest to god one of my favorite comedies, it mixes bloody action with comedy in the best ways and I love it, so excited to see your reaction to it!!
It's so much fun! And the cast was hilarious ❤️ Hope you enjoy 😄
Haha he ain’t wrong about Garland, Texas
My aunt said the same thing lol. Lived there for 4 years.
One of my favorite movies for entertainment and fun…one of those flicks you can throw on at any time and vibe. Holidays, while cleaning, late night, movie nights and more…and although not a movie meant to out perform any genre or standard, awesome performances by all. Looks natural and effortless and looks like they had a blast filming too
And by the way, favorite weapon would probably be some Katanas and obviously some firepower…maybe a rifle with 308s in it..incendiary rounds
@@OfficialMediaKnights She's 28 and married now. Crazy,
“BILL FCKING MURRY” 😂 I love how excited he was
weapon of choice i am going baseball bat i am going full Negan mode
Oh hell yeah, a classic - elegant and violent!
4:18 weapon of choice would be a broken beer bottle. Ash from “Ash vs Evil Dead” made very good use of it on his former manager. Highly recommend that show if y’all ever a chance. 😁
Groovy.
I remember that episode 🤣🤣🤣
I can attest. Monopoly is the most contentious board game a family can play. It’s blown up many of my family functions.
Double Uzi’s and katanas on my back. “Uzi time, baby!”
Need Zombieland 2: Double Tap reaction ASAP
Hoping for Zombieland 3: Beware of Bathrooms
(Technically this movie is Zombieland: Cardio)
You guys are the best! ❤️
The cast and director joke about making a 3 but I hope one day they do.
2 blows hard with a hard r
Damn, Deadpool and Wolverine and now this?! I must be living my life right. Yall are the best. Weapon of choice: Jeffrey Dean Morgan
Negan needs Lucille, though. Don't forget Lucille...
I'm Negan!!!!
@@lisainthecold4287I’m the governor
I love my zombie movies and this is one i regularly rewatch too because its just so awesome 😄 i love Woody Harrelson in this. I still qutoe stuff from this movie lol
Woody saying "That'll Do Pig" as a goodbye will forever live rent free in my mind and always make me laugh 😂
This movie and Shaun of the dead are 2 just classic zombie comedies and top tier movies imo 😄
31:12 that's when a legendary meme was born. 😂
Just the opening credits with a bit of For Whom the Bell Tolls hit hard and paved the way for a fantastic movie! I'm going to enjoy this!
Yall gotta watch Ghostbusters now 😏 lol
Oooop we just might! 😉
@@OfficialMediaKnights I mean, it is the least you can do after you just sat there and watched Bill Murray die.
I hate coconut also. This gave me the perfect way to describe how I feel about it
12:46 thank God she didnt poop in his sofa 🙏🏼
I saw this movie at a theatre in Garland, TX so everyone laughed out loud at that opening scene lol. It's not wrong lol.
You guys should check out Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Cool recommendations, we'll add it to our list! Thank you!
I second that recommendation. And Pride Prejudice and Zombies!
I was just looking for something to watch and saw this. Hell yeah zombieland!
Haha yeeesss, hope you enjoy!!
Weapon of choice? Let me think. Ah, yes... the MINIGUN with infinite ammo!
Son of bitch that was gonna be my choice and was just scrolling through to see if anyone else posted yet. 😅 oh well second choice would be a bow with explosive tip arrow like in Rambo II
Haha hell yeah Me too high compacity and infinite ammo is always the best way to go. 🇺🇸💯🔥
Forgot the score! It was such an original and fitting film score loved listening to it in the background put me in the perfect mood 🍿
This movie shows why playing pranks especially in survival situations is just a dumb idea.
Great Movie😂😂 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland🇫🇮🇺🇸
13:55
Chocolate and noodles😂
17:55 🥁
Covering all the bases! Also ahah yes dad jokes abound 🥁
So glad you guys reacted to this!! It’s an instant classic! They play it at our drive in here in my state on Halloween hahaha, knew you’d love it!
It’s so much fun! Thank you for watching ❤️
@@OfficialMediaKnights ofc! Love you guys!! Keep it up!!
lol And I live in Columbus OH too... I would have to rock twin machetes or a battle axe. lol
Ahah no wayyy!! Twin machete and/or battle axe sounds like the way to go! Hold on tight to those just in case Columbus OH 😂
My weapon of choice would be a spear with a crosspiece. They're easy to make, relatively easy to use compared to other weapons, require less rare materials than other weapons, don't require ammo, and most importantly can keep zombies at a distance and minimize your chances of being bitten.
Edit: i wish we can post photos in yt comments, but that'll get out of hand real quick.
yeaa!! Love this movie! Ohhh some good horror movies are thirteen ghost and The Frighteners.
Ohhhh, gotta check those out! Adding those to our list!
When I first saw this, I had never heard of Emma Stone. I said, “Oh, my God! Watch this girls career. She is going to win an Oscar someday! (I said the same thing about Natalie Portman in “Beautiful Girls.”)
This movie starts in Garland, Texas. In the theater we all screamed because we were in Garland, Texas! I taught marching band color guard at North Garland HS, across the street from where they started the film. Who would have thought that town would make it to the silver screen! ✨🤣✨
So Ghostbusters it is for your next reaction then
Singing along to Horse the Band, is top tier work!
For the record..the reaction when Woody Harrelson´s character meets Bill Murray is the ONLY legitimate reaction any of us would have if we were to meet Bill Murray
Best reaction and editing of this classic. Won me back. Thanks!
As Brad Pitt said in World War Z, "Movement is life."
omg horror comedy is amazing when done right....y'all have to watch 'Shaun Of The Dead'....we wouldn't have 'Zombieland' without it....'Slither' is another amazing horror comedy movie you have to watch as well....'The Menu' & 'Ready Or Not' don't get the love they deserve
I was gonna give a 'like' at the end of the video anyways since I enjoyed the reaction, but hearing you'd go to the ends of the earth for Reese's just made me hit it earlier in unity, lmao. My man.
Aaaaw yes, you are making my day. Just rewatched part 2 yesterday, looking foward to maybe see you react to that also. I just love Woody
6:39 .... not all have been to Florida, Ari.
I have, but most haven't.
It's still one of if not the best zombie movie i have ever seen, the comedy the action the pop-up rules, amazing.
Loved this reaction :) was a treat thanks to you both
Thank you for reacting to this movie. It's truly an instant classic. Funny and yet strangely touching at some moments.
Love this movie. My brother and i watched this multiple times then to Zombieland 2
Weapon of choice: crowbar. Durable, lightweight, affordable and has multiple uses besides beating up a zombie.
11:48 my absolute favorite line from the film. Always gets me. 😂
Bringing back good memories with this one used to be my favorite movie as a teen
6:20 omg me 😭😭😭 like, alright just take me and get it over with lmao
Fun fact: Originally, this movie was intended to be a TV show, hence "zombie kill of the week."
The 2000s were rife with great comedies and this was no exception. One of my favorite movies and I never even saw this in theaters to have the nostalgia boost - Tallahassee is one of Woody's best characters for sure too.
They're about to do a rerun of this at my local cinema, don't think I was old enough when it was released I'm so hyped
Whaaaat, that is so cool!! Let us know how that is, we can't wait to hear about that experience!
For my weapon of choice I'd go full on Negan and craft my own Lucille
Amazing reaction guys. One of my favorite horror comedies ever. Love the Korn shirt Renee.🤘
I always watch their videos everytime i eat lmaoo they are my comfort people 💖💖
Omg you don’t understand how excited I am to see Denise reacting to this , my lunch is ready about to watch my favorite people on YT react to one of the funniest zombie movies ever made. Luv U guys so much ❤
Enjoy your lunch! That warms our hearts, thank you for being here.
