    Never had a salesman give me reasons NOT to buy from them...and I like it! Great detail as always, can make the most mundane of items interesting, top job!

    I’ve owned that Ninja Foodie Grill (the one furthest to the left) for over a year now and have absolutely loved it. I’ve made rib eye steaks, pork chops, roast veggies, and have heated up lots of frozen chips (fries), and nuggets/chicken strips. 10/10 would recommend

    Have had a tefal air fryer for about 3 years.
    One thing to consider is if you have an oven do you really need an air fryer, I do not have an oven. Manual timers, check you can decrease the time, mine can not decrease so may times end up having to unplug it to stop cooking. Air fryers give off a lot of heat, I live in Thailand so my air fryer lives outside. Maybe be consider buying 2 small ones rather then one big one.
    One to cook the the chips at one temperature and the other to cook the chicken at other temperature.

      @christianbuczko1481 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have 2, a small one and a big one. Noise is no worse than a normal fan oven, and maybe quieter in fact. My naighbours make more noise, i cannot hear either in fact from the next room. The benefits far out weigh any reason not to buy one, my 4.5ltr £50 tesco airfryer has been amazing, and id highly recommend it, and my new big one at 22ltr is just easier to cook larger things like a decent pizza in 10mins, no warming of the oven. Both save money compared to a large oven, neither is louder, both easier to clean, even without a dishwasher..

    I have a Ninja Foodi which I swear by! But I decided that, since animal fats aren’t the big bad bogey man they were thought to be, I’ve just bought a deep fat fryer and beef dripping, I’m so looking forward to having the decent chips which I’ve mourned from my childhood! 😊

    Halogen oven is the way and the light. 1/7th the cost of the large brand name air fryers with similar results.

    I have a Ninja Air Fryer. Once you study and learn what you can cook with this machine you will not live without it. For example no large amounts of oil. Very speedy and healthy. When you cook meats using the correct procedure you will be amazed at how tender the meat becomes after using firstly the pressure cooker and then the air crisp. I find it ideal for me and my wife there may be issues if you have a large family. Before buying study the different types of air fryers. If you are a fried food freak then buy the cheapest one. If like me you like a wide range of food then invest in the top-range Ninja.

  • @hollingbourne
    @hollingbourne ปีที่แล้ว

    Where would you suggest safely positioning the Airfryer ?

  • @joggerino3284
    @joggerino3284 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is a good overview. In essence, air friers are just smaller ovens circulating hot air. Therefore, they are most relevant for 1 to 2 person households and everyone who wants to save money on energy.
    Besides, you really need almost no oil compared to a normal frier. This is healthier and also saves money (current prize:
    4 € /1 L).
    Reheating can be done in it, too.
    One thing to consider: When you already have an oven, just increase the amount of food you prepare, so you can heat it up the next day. This is an argument against air friers.
    I do wonder, whether they are useful for pizza or bread, too? Most airfriers have a limit of 200 °C.

    • @dandeveny4513
      @dandeveny4513 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I worried about the 200C limit too, it was a needless concern. Think of these things like heat guns, it is blasting the food with 200C hot air. A regular oven at 200C means the air around the food it not often at 200C. I cook frozen pizza in 5mins in mine, or 4mins if preheated, the cheese comes out really brown, like my oven at 260C.

    The ticking sound would drive me nuts. They seem fine but I don't tend to fry as much anymore as frying (at least where cooking or microwaving is another option) tended to make less nutritional food results and the burning of frying tends to kill some flavour . How efficient is it compared to a good fanned oven?

    • @marklittler784
      @marklittler784 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hot or cold liquid surrounding food conducts heat extremely efficiently to the food like putting frozen meat in a freezer bag and defrosting in cold water is ten times quicker. A kettle or slow cooker has the heat source contained within which is extremely efficient.

    Ive got 2 now, a small 4.5ltr, which i got 1st, and has been awesome, if restricted in size although ive found a few tricks that got around some problems such as buying aluminium foil containers bought off amazon, 100 for £10, that helps cook many things easier. The 2nd new one is a much larger one able to cook a decent sized pizza or multiple items the small one cannot cope with. Both are very simple to clean, and i dont have a dishwasher, thats complete bollocks about needing one to clean them.. id recommend watching youtube vids where people use the different types and figure out what you want in terms of ability and your requirements. I cannot think of 1 reason not to buy one, except stupidity.

    @josefwahlgren4498 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Didn't know there was transparent lids on some airfryers. On my Phillips one I just pull out the basket, check and put in back in without the appliance turning itself off.
    Reaching a set heat level is much faster in an Airfryer in my experience and you also use much less oil (which has become more pricy) & less electricity (depend on how you use it) which might also be an economical factor
    I'm writing this with only using a Philips Premium Airfryer as reference

  • @biondanishgenomeinstitute8193
    @biondanishgenomeinstitute8193 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do airfryers generally just circulate the air inside, or do they blow hot air out? you didn't mention energy efficiency, compared to regular owens, and between them .. I mean do they get warm on the outside or not?

    • @marklittler784
      @marklittler784 ปีที่แล้ว

      They will switch off or reduce heat automatically rather than throw it out obviously some heat will be lost through the body of it.

      Air fryer costs less than a regular electrical or gas oven because in general it cooks quicker in it's smaller space and with the assistance of the fan. And in terms of electricity an air fryer is usually a lower wattage (power consumption) than a conventional electrical oven.

    • @stephendoherty8291
      @stephendoherty8291 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not many have gas ovens anymore. I guess for frying small amounts it would be cheaper as its essentially a mini fan oven BUT it can recycle the moisture of the food which retains the flavour. Using an oven to cook just one item (and even cooking more than one item in parallel often meant taking out the faster cooking food and then the oven having to reheat back up to the set temp for the other food to cook. How many of use cook just using a Microwave vs an oven or slow/pressure cooker. Microwave tends to dry food our faster than we hoped.
