    After reading countless of reviews and spend many days researching, I decided to get a Cosori Air Fryer after watching your review. I'm very happy wth the machine. I've been using it every day since I got it. I also purchased both of your books and the Go Chu Jang sauce, WOW!!! You were right: We thank YOU, for that!! I don't eat nothing spicy, buy my daughter really wanted to try it and we can't get enough of that stuff now. Many thanks for taking the time to made these videos reviews and for all your recommendations.

    you are totally right with your cleaning suggestion, which I am using for most of my life: take food out of the hot pan/pot/airfryer. If there is a bit oil/grease in it, wipe it out with a paper towel. Then fill a little bit HOT water in it, plus a drop of dish soap, let sit. After you are done with eating, you are able to clean your cooking vessel/airfryer basket and the bowl effortlessly and within a minute. Works even with cast iron, still stays non-stick.

    Fantastic information and very helpful! I have an old Tefal Original Actifry a friend gave me - which I love. But would like to get a newer air fryer with temperature control and I love the shape of the Cosori basket along with the fact that if there is excess fat it will drip through the holes in the non-stick basket. You have helped me decide on the 5.8qt Cosori. Thanks, and SUBSCRIBED!

    I have watched several of your air fryer videos and they have the best information of any reviews. Now my question, these videos are 3 years old and newer models have come out. Do you have an update to these models? Your multiple videos highlight several brands but which is the best of the best in your opinion if you are looking for a 2.6-3 qt fryer? I'm buying for my daughter-in-law who asked for one for Christmas and I may also buy one for me after watching this!! I want to make the best choice as she is an excellent cook and I think she may bypass her professional oven after she uses an air fryer.

    I enjoy your videos, the way you cut to the chase and have two of your books - thanks! I would like, when you're doing your reviews, if you'd also add how easy the item is to clean in the sink. Not everyone has a dishwasher. And even if I did, as a one person household, I likely wouldn't use it often.

    The problem I have with airfryers tends to be around the nonstick pan. No matter how gentle I am, the nonstick always peels off quite quickly. You can't soak them because they peel and you can't scrub. So the only thing I've come up with is to wipe as soon as its come out before it dries and that's blinkin hot. Any brand that you think stands up to washing with a soft sided sponge? I have seen a difference between brands.

    You’re amazingg!!! Thank you so much for the video, most helpful one out of probably a dozen I’ve seen while trying to decide. Side note: I noticed that you run out breath when you speak which actually happens to a lot of people. There are techniques and exercises that can help so you don’t have to suffer though that, if you don’t want to. They go though them in oral expression classes, I think they’re called diaphragm breathing or breath control, and there’s probably videos here in YT. You obviously don’t have to do it, I just wanted to suggest it because it looks kind of painful and maybe it’s something that bothers you.

  • @gnostie

    The biggest problem I have with airfryers is that the food doesn't cook evenly. For example, I like making karela and potato sabji, and if air fryers did what they said they'd do, then I'd put potatoes and then the karela to fry in an air fryer. But that doesn't happen: some pieces of karela are soft, others are crispy, and the same with potatoes. Is there a trick to get even cooking? One option is to have just one layer of food, enough to cover the bottom of the AF pan. Another option is to find a way to have 2 'floors' to cook on. A 3rd option would be best if I could find it: use the appliance normally and get it to do what the manufacturers advertise. What would you advise?

    • @Twosleevers
      @Twosleevers  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      gnostie So two things. One is that potatoes and Karela probably cook at different speeds so putting them together may be problematic. The other thing is you are right, food needs to be in one even flat later. it limits how much food you can cook at a time but you do get better results. The way to get around that is to shake the food halfway through or maybe even two or three times as it’s cooking. Bring oil evenly over all the food also helps crisp up the surfaces better

    Urvashi, this was a very useful review. Thank you. A quick question to sort out my confusion...is a convection oven the same thing as an air fryer? I have one that is perhaps 10 years old. When I was about to buy an air fryer, my husband watched some youtube video and told me we already have an air fryer (our Oster convection oven). Do the new oven style air fryers have the fan on the top? Oh, and one more question: if i don't want non-stick coating, what air fryers are available with say, stainless steel baskets and racks? Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge in response to my questions :-) !

    You are not talking about one important function of any air fryers, that for me, is most important, what is basket and tray are made off. The majority of air fryers are using Teflon that I personally trying to avoid. I owe Ninja air fryer with a ceramic tray, but it’s only 8 inches and it’s the same diameter for the Ninja XL model. I was reading about Yedi air fryer that is using ceramic basket and tray, but it’s sold out everywhere. I agree that square models are better then round design. What are your thoughts on the ceramic vs Teflon trays?

    What's your opinion of rotisserie chicken/kabob function? Can the effect be replicated with conventional convection oven? And would it clear challenges to cleaning? In particular, I'm considering GoWise USA GW44800-O Deluxe 12.7-Quarts 15-in-1 Electric Air Fryer Oven w/Rotisserie.
